I don't really call that a successful diy. I don't care if you love Meg, or hate her, but there is no reason to tell her that what she's doing isn't creative. Making slime out of food is NOT creative! Diys are called Do It Yourself. It doesn't say anything about money, buying things, not buying a things, or anything like that in it, does it? No. Do it yourself. All by yourself. No help. That's what it means.

A lot of them were crafts. The ones that weren't she said she did them so you didn't have to go out and buy everything.

Mini Studios true but MOST of them are just things you have to buy at the store, like the cacti and the fruit rug, you have to buy the rugs first and all you do with the rugs is just cut them into shapes.

She never said that you didn't have to buy anything.

And it's probably a lot cheaper to buy the rugs and cut them into shapes, than go to a store that actually has them.
