All very inspiring, but the best tip for me was how to neatly cover a frame, and that was so clear, concise and easy to follow, thank you! (and now I'm contemplating buying a laminator...because I love the dried leaves/flowers ideas sealed away with lamination...so many uses).
I have used brsnch parts for years in making art cards along with eucalyptus leaves plus a few beads. I have painted branches with rings of colored paints just to lay beside a vase of dried weeds. Love this earthy journal.
Absolutely brilliant ideas as always thoughtful and decorative I am sure the pockets could be made with clear tape if people like myself don't have a laminate.
Wonderful craft ideas !! I only craft with wrapping paper around christmas and unfortunately all my wrapping consist of venom , spider man , and carnage 🤣 hehehe. Your ideas are always so very beautiful Natasha . Yes , I'd love to see a laminated junk journal tutorial 🤗😚 hugs and blessings . Hope you're enjoying your new year.
Could you recommend a laminator ? I have read many pro's & cons on many for sizes & brands. Maybe you could just share your experience with them. Thank you.
Great video oozing with creative ideas! I am a new sub-- hello!- your brain is a creative rabbit hole! I love it!!!💜🌸💜 Your ideas gave me new ideas even outside of a JJ! Thanks!
You always have such GREAT ideas! ⭐️🌟⭐️ Brilliant video, tfs 👍 I guess the girl in the photo does look a bit like Swedish Greta Thunberg, haha ha ha 😂😆🤣 (her mother is a famous opera singer in Scandinavia)! Have a lovely weekend! /Ditte in Sweden 🤓 🇸🇪
Hahaha oh Natasha you make me laugh! "Does this work? Maybe not" "Is it perfect? No but who cares" This is why I love you, it's all about just giving it a go, just create and you'll be amazed at what you come up with. Thanks for a fantastic video, hope you had a great start to the new year!
Great ideas! Here in the UK we can buy self-adhesive 'cold laminator pouches' and no machine needed. Come in large (A4) or small (for ID cards) sizes - they work just the same.
Happy New Year Natasha! I absolutely love your ideas, so inspiring!. I too would love to see the laminated journal cover as a tutorial and always look forward to your videos. Thank you x
Love this video! I don’t journal but I love getting ideas from you to use in a different way. I am making a memory tree for next Christmas and using your ideas for ornaments of my family through the years. You inspire me in every video! Keep them coming!
I love that you did this video! My leftover wrapping paper scraps are just sitting here staring at me, looking beautiful & begging not to be thrown in recycling! 😅 Now I can give them new life! I actually made a little wrapping paper junk journal out of some of them but I didn’t really know what I was doing but seeing these projects has given me some great ideas! Thank you Natasha, as always, for these beautiful & fun ideas! 💕 Happy New Year!! 🎉
Happy New Year! You make your instructions so easy to follow that even I can do the project! Fabulous ways to use up scrap wrapping paper and I love the idea of saving a bit of wrapping paper from special occasions and journaling about the gift, etc! TFS! Hugs from South Dakota, USA. 🤗
Natasha this is a saved favorite video of yours. There is something for everyone. Lots of gift ideas to get our creative juices flowing. I wish i could see the world through your gifted eyes....WAIT .. I am !!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing 💕💕💕💕
Natasha you are such an inspiration!!!! I love everything you come up with! Such a creative mind you have!!! These are wonderful projects!!!! Happy New Year to you and your family!!! 🎆🎆🎆
I loved these ideas and have wrapping paper galore! Thanks so much for the inspiration. I hope you will do a travel journal video when you have the time. I always appreciate your unique way of putting together so many lovely things.
You are a never ending fountain of brilliant and beautiful ideas and I always love to see what you come up with next! LOVE ALL OF THEM! Happy new year!
I was surprised to see you using a ready-made planner; I thought you would totally make an awesome home-made one for yourself. Well, that was... interesting 😊. I love all the projects from the video (collecting such ideas on Pinterest board already and this is a cool addition). As for attaching flimsy paper to cardstock, I think less pricy masking tape will do the job well. The pouches with tags in them (the favorite idea) can be tucked under gift closure after adding to them wishes/poems/quotes collected specifically for the receivers.
With the laminator, you can also make placemats from wrapping paper. Like for a kid's table or just something for everyday (non-guest) use. Makes a nice memory, too, since we tend to buy different wrapping paper each year.
Happy New Year, Natasha, and many thanks for yet more gorgeous ideas for using up scraps! I love this… I have a load of old wrapping paper that I thought I would use and never did - some of it is really damaged but it has good bits and I can now use them!
You are incredible, as always. You inspired me to start this new-to-me hobby of paper crafting and junk journals and I feel like a whole new world has opened up. I am so glad I got a laminator, so now I can make these easy pouches. Thank you so so much for sharing your ideas with us!!!
I guess I am not shopping at the dollar store for that cheap thin wrapping paper anymore. 😂 your wrapping paper is much thicker and high end then mine. I am going to be cognizant of this from now on! Love your ideas! Beautiful as usual! Thank you for the inspiration yet again!❤️ Happy New Year!
Hello Treasure Books, I'm a new subscriber and treasure book maker (this name exactly encapsulates the books). Your videos have given me the very best advice, procedures and explanation of TOOLS that I've seen. I was bewildered when I started with simple scissors and glue!! I watched other videos where all these diff tools were used and I became alittle discouraged as to what, why, and where to buy them. Thank you for illustrating how we can adapt what we have at a beginner level and with limited cash as a pensioner to achieve success. Kindest Regards from a new book maker! I feel that I have found a treasure, Natasha!
I love these!! I was also thinking of sewing a snippet roll with some of the scraps for future holiday journals. You keep inspiring me! I love everything! I can imagine making a little photo book with the wrapping pockets and memories in each one. How completely sweet.
Super idea of gluing a little piece of wrapping paper and writing the gift and the giver's name. Love that the idea "just came to you right then". Thanks!
Hi Natasa! So many wonderful ideas. I love that some of the best ideas come freeform while you're recording and just tossing out ideas you get some of the most unique ideas.
It’s a slippery slope not to hoard😂I watched your little houses project and others. I now have a pile started since yesterday. I love this wrapping paper idea too. Thank you!
With you pouches have you ever considered finding some appropriate material that is soft for the inside of a pouch so you can put your eye glasses in!?!
I LOVE the laminated pocket idea! And i might even do a laminated cover for a smaller/plain journal, too (bc I've been accumulating a ton of paper, now, i just need to make more covers and start stuffing them!! For the bottom of the brown pocket project, the "shoulders" can be folded INTO the pocket and sealed to the interior, instead of having a little bit folded over the bottom edge - this is especially helpful if using a patterned paper, to avoid disrupting the pattern.
Thank you for this! I just love your channel, I always get great ideas and inspiration from you! I hope you and your family have a wonderful, safe and HAPPY 2023!🎉
Dear Natasha My English is not so good I speak German First of all I thank you 🙏 🙏🙏 very much for all the videos … I’m as well in love with my laminiermachine… for Christmas I made many table plaice Sets… with collagen… everyone was very happy with it… Wishing you all the best in 2023 Warm greetings from Switzerland Gertrud
BTW you can purchase self-sealing laminating pouches that don't require a machine. Amazon and other stores sell it. A box of 5 pouches cost approximately $5.64.
Great ideas. I don't have a laminating machine. I use laminating sheets. Have you ever embossed with a rolling pin? Thank you for your creativity. Tyfs😎💖
One of the best junk journal videos I've seen in a long time. Well thought out. Great examples. I've missed some of your videos, so I'd better catch up now.
Oh no, whoops! Natasa accidentally came up with a brilliant booklet idea when demonstrating laminated pockets. I wish all of my accidents turned out like this 😅. Thanks for another super vid. From me, in windy, rainy UK 🇬🇧
Wow... I absolutely LOVED this tutorial... Best I've seen for a while, such brilliant ideas not sure which I love the most but I adore the tiny gift tags with old stamps on them. I have a vintage stamp collection which I did as a child and I may use some of those. Thanks for such an inspirational video!!! Subscribed!!! 😃
