Great lesson lee,i got d rthym handy enough,but the the 3 chords played fast i have troble with,so i used "sounds just like it"chords,just chords with no name,but dont wana start bad habits,its the cords after"leave them kids alone din din din"i used what sounds like but your lesson is showing how to do it right,yeah its all about the chord changes
Years ago when I was learning basic chords, the first time I ever strummed Dm my ears immediately went "Hey!! That's the Another brick in the wall chord!!" So that's what I've called it ever since. 😎
Another great lesson on another great song. I generally prefer barre chords on songs like this, but for me this one was much easier to sing over the open chords. But I’ll add the barre chords as a bit of an instrumental. Definitely going into heavy rotation!
By the way, I’ve come to realize that it’s much easier to learn to play a song when I know all the lyrics to it. If I haven’t gotten the lyrics fully down, I hit a wall very quickly (pun intended). If I’ve got the lyrics 100 percent, the song itself sort of pulls me along and helps me with the fiddly parts, to borrow a favorite term of yours.

i was looking for a song that i could learn the mute thing with you are doing here.thanks man u read my mind haha :),one more thing i wanted to ask, im a male 26,my hand and fingers arent as big as yours,is this going to be a problem for playing guitar??or it doesnt really matter-for example i cant do the pinky bass,i switched fingers in order to do it i used my pinky in the chord and the 3rd finger or anular doing the Bass thing haha
