Good morning ladies, today's video, as the title would suggest, is all about neutral outfits and all my top style tips I use to create them that are really easy to use. I really hope you like all the outfit ideas I put together and the style tips give you some inspiration of ideas to remember when recreating similar looks yourself.I'd love to hear everyone's favourite? Also don't forget to take a look at all those beautiful pieces new in at Jenni Kayne, a brand that suits my style down to a tee:) bit.ly/3vliIuP Thank you so much for watching, I really hope this video has given you a few ideas and as always it'd be lovely to hear from you in the comments below:) Jess
@@soniaparraferrandez8293 Hi lovely, I think they discontinued the exact style of mine as the one I linked is so similar:) And to be honest you could pick any handbag from their website and they're all gorgeous, it's just such a lovely brand I don't think you can go wrong:)
Thank you for sharing her with us- Jess you are top notch 💐💐👏👏☺️.Fashion is so inclusive and such a simple way to feel great. Have a wonderful week Fun Family❣️
@@buffer1954 That's what I love about fashion too! We are all, and should, feel free to express ourselves through clothes however we choose:) Big hugs my lovely and thank you for your kind words:) x
Aww well I feel very honoured to be part of your calm Sunday morning:)) And yes, if the sunshine could hurry up that would be marvellous! Fingers crossed for more next week:)
Thank you, love everything. I’ve been noticing more coordination in my dressing, keep on doing your videos, they are so helpful. You’re a beautiful lady.
That's wonderful to hear Ana, I'm so glad you find my videos helpful and that it's helping you create outfit ideas:) Thank you also for the kind words, I really appreciate that:) Big hugs, Jess
Really helpful video! I'm trying to re-invent my wardrobe after having a baby 9 months ago and now not really having an excuse to live in comfy clothes all the time. My basics are very different than yours (for example flats wouldn't work for long stroller walks), but I get the point and it's totally inspiring and applicable to different styles!
Hi Sasha, firstly huge congratulations on having a baby, comfy clothes are the way forward in those early months aren't they! But yes hopefully you can translate these ideas and make them work for your own real life:) Have a wonderful week ahead Sasha and thanks so much for watching:)
Aah that’s okay Jo, enjoy the process and try and think about it as your creating your ‘forever wardrobe’ and these things take time to get it right but it’ll be worth it😘
Thanks Jess for another wonderful video .. 😍…..not sure why but I particularly enjoyed this ( love them all natch 🫶) ..loads of good ideas to stop me from grabbing the identical outfit every day 😟… hope all good your end … and only a week to go till schools break up 🫢!! for Easter …Hopefully not constant rain although feels like Siberia in London this morning 😅 big hugs Pauline xxx
Aww that's nice to hear Pauline thanks lovely:) I think there's a lot of us who particularly love neutral outfits and sometimes a little idea can spring about 5 different ones in someone's mind which is what it's all about really:) How did we almost get to Easter already!! We're staying at home as my eldest is revising for his A levels so I imagine I'll be dragged around endless theme parks by Walter haha! Fingers crossed for sunshine though, that always makes it so much easier. Are you going away for the break? x
I know suddenly it’s Easter ! …. Oh no exams .. it’s so stressful for them .. and you too ! Luckily Chris is over theme parks 🤣.. he is doing work experience in the cafe of a tennis club in north London .. making all the fancy coffees 😍….so pleased , as I wouldn’t have thought that possible as being autistic he struggles with being socially awkward.. very proud .. fingers crossed for some sunshine … love to you all 😘
Morning Diana, it's a simple one that's so effective isn't it:) And if there was ever a season to wear all black it would be this Spring Summer! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and thanks so much for popping by:)
Fantastic video, so many styling ideas and you put so much work into it. Wow, a big thank you for such an inspirational posting. I shall watch this video many times over 👏💐💝 and a very Happy Easter to you 🐣🐰
Hi Jess, I came across your channel a couple of weeks ago when looking for inspiration to update my wardrobe. Since then, I have been catching up on all the recent videos and am looking forward to the new ones every Sunday. I love your clear, professional but engaging presentation style and you had given me lots of ideas and a fresh passion for fashion. Thank you! Also I’m loving the neutrals vibe which I didn’t think I would!
I just turned 64 today and love Jess’s channel, too. Her choices are so classic and timeless that women of any age look great in them. I also love her emphasis on quality, natural-fiber items, I can’t wear synthetics🙂
I'm 63 and been following Jess for a few years. I think she's great - the only problem is her colouring is different from mine and camel, which is one of her favourites makes me look ill!
Happy Sunday Jess. Great video as usual. I agree about suits and buying good quality ones - I've still got a jacket from Gerard Darel from at least 15 years ago which I still wear. I love your handbag collection and used to have 3 or 4 leather handbags which I rotated according to the season etc. Unfortunately, over the last 5 or 6 years I've opted for the Longchamp pliage nylon bags in a couple of different sizes and colours as I've found them so useful for plane travel as you can get them on as hand luggage on Ryanair/Easyjet etc. I really should make more of an effort as a good handbag can really "make" an outfit - and I'm going to dig out a half moon shape leather bag which has been packed away for a few years as this shape seems to be back in fashion at the moment. Thanks again for all your useful tips and tricks.♥
Your videos are my Sunday treat! Fashion/wardrobe styling is my favorite thing, well, along with cats and books! Today is my birthday, too, so I can relax before I have to get ready for our “March Birthdays” (three in our family) celebration dinner. Keep up the great styling, dear Jess, I’m sure it’s a ton of work, but we appreciate it so much. I try to buy from your links to help support your work, and because you always choose quality, classic, timeless, natural-fiber items, it’s great. Here in the US, YT fashion/styling content is mostly based on getting the cheapest possible clothing from Walmart or H&M, ugh! Not for me. You’re one of the few influencers who shops at the Premium High Street brands (just a tiny bit of designer), as I do, and mostly UK/Euro-made brands.❤
Love your tips, Jess! I second the tip of taking photos of outfits that work. It’s very helpful both for day to day looks and also for putting together a travel capsule.
Fabulous video, Jess! Heaps of great tips and inspo! I love the cardigan you’re wearing, such a rich colour. I’m ready to try out some neutral looks this spring. Thank you so much for all the work you do for us 🥰
Loved outfit brown/rust long coat with camel skirt, so pretty. Thx great video, I only wear neutrals ! Navy, black, brown, cream. I may be boring but I feel comfy. :)
Hello 👋🏽 my friend Jess, Ooo I need this video. I love how you started with the pants & moved your way up to create a chic outfit. Those linen trousers are amazing 😍. Okay, I need a polka dot blouse 👏🏽👏🏽. Another great video with some incredible style tips. Thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
Lovely presentation as always. Neutrals make up most of my wardrobe so your combinations have given me a lot of inspiration. The white linen blend trousers are beautiful. They drape so nicely on you. Thanks again and have a wonderful week.
I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed today's video Diane and the style is similar to yours:) Hopefully a few ideas of new ways to wear some of the pieces you already own:) Have a wonderful week ahead Diane:) x
Good morning Jess, i love neutrals and the way of matching them is so beautiful!! I take a lot of inspiration from you and i'm trying to recreate my wardrope. This brown-caramel colour is so beautiful!! You make me feel that i want it to my wish list!! Have a nice Sunday.
Thanks again. Your style tips are the start of a good Sunday. PS I feel most comfortable in dark colors, so I love the black look with the camel trench and camel with black. White bottoms and dark tops.
Thank you. I love your style. You just get better and better every time I check in with you. :-) I have so many of those basic pieces, but I need ideas on how to put them together. I have that Sezanne white ruffle blouse but never thought to put it under a caramel color jacket. It is tips like that that helps me use my closet pieces I already have. I even have the same pieces you have on, a rust-colored silk blouse and a rust-colored button-down sweater and black jeans. Gosh I never thought to put that together.
Hi Jess, perfect everything ❤️. I have one question ..the white pants with the white sweater at 2.45 minutes, can you tell me where they are from ?🙏🙏🙏… love that one so much 😍
Love your videos, Jess. The new everyday neutral handbag in the "handbag edit" is not the one that you linked. Could you please tell me what brand that one is? Thank you😊
Hey Jess, definitely one of your best videos. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Really excellent advice and styling ideas. Thank you. I can’t pick an outfit as I love the all. ❤❤ The JK pieces are beautiful and perfect for a summer holiday. Did you pick a location? xx
Aww thank you gorgeous I really, really appreciate that. I've been having a strange old week of doubting myself for some silly reason so to hear that today means a lot:) I ended up going with Andalucia, I know it's going to be hot (haven't told David how hot yet:/ But it looks so beautiful and lots to explore so that's the plan. I'll send you a dm actually as I soooo need to get my hair done so I'll see if you're around for that cuppa, big hugs:)
@@FashionStyleEdit Hey hon, you’re really welcome. We all need a pick up at times! 😎🙏🏻 That sounds like a fabulous holiday location… once David is there you can tell him how hot!!🥵 🤩. I’ve not been there but looking forward to seeing your content. Don’t forget to do a ‘holiday pack with me’ video!! xx
@@sianoliviaenglish5460 Haha yes, and pretend it's just a random heatwave! Great idea on the packing video, though I'm not sure I'm the person anyone would look up to for that! I'm a take everything you possibly can type packer haha! Must get better at that:/
Hi lovely, I try to incorporate a little bit of all price points but it is hard to make sure there’s something for every budget in every video:/ However please know I am trying, I don’t always get it right but it’s a balance for sure:) x
Thanks for a wonderful video. It’s hard to get excited about neutrals but you have inspired me. I love your Cyme bag and I’m thinking of getting one. Is yours the mini or standard size?
Brilliant, thank you. I watched one of your shorts the other day you hd a lovely black linen dress on no sleeves, can you advise where you purchased that please. This.
I love that there is only one dark (black?) item on your rail. Black just doesn’t suit me. I do wear some black bottoms, most only come in black, for one thing, but they make my skinny hips and legs look scrawny. I prefer white bottoms, skirts especially, or light neutral colors like taupe, by far. Especially for spring and summer❤
Brilliant! As always, you are such an inspiration. What I love is how friendly your videos are. It's like having fun with a friend - thinking up new combinations using much loved pieces in my wardrobe with maybe, just maybe one new piece to give everything a "lift"! Thanks so much x
Morning Jess, loved all the looks as always. I can’t wait for warmer weather to! The white dress you showed, you were holding it, is that the stunning one you wear with a tan belt from Sézane? I remember you getting it from the a while ago. Just wondering if they still sell it as I’d love to get it for summer but can’t find it. Also your tan/terracotta t-shirt you have is that one from Cos? Really great idea taking photos and create our own Pinterest board on our phones. I’m going to start doing that. Have a wonderful Sunday hun. Take care xx
Morning gorgeous hope you've had a fabulous week:) Ooh yes that dress is one of my favourites, I'll have a look now and see if I can find a link, strangely sometimes things are hidden on their site but i'll see. The tan t-shirt I'm not sure which one you mean? What am I wearing it with, I do so many outfit ideas I forget what I've actually done haha! Big hugs:)
@@FashionStyleEdit manic week but in a good way. It’s such a beautiful dress isn’t it. Yes please that would be fantastic, thank you ☺️ I can’t remember what you were wearing it with now, it’s a tan/brown shade, similar to your camel coat and scarf shade. xx
@@nikkikirn98 Aah that's good, I can handly busy when it's exciting:) I think the one you mean is from Sezane? Have a look at their t-shirts 'Conrad tee' or something that sounds similar? I think that might be the one:) x
You could try damp ironing on the hottest setting safe for the fabric, then using a little sizing spray to dry-iron them again (or combine the steps, but I prefer the first way). It gives extra body and crispness, without the severe scorching problem of heavy starch. I like “Magic Sizing”, via Amazon or supermarket, US. All new clothes are “sized”, which is why they look so great until washed. We can recreate that finish with Magic Sizing, or a similar sizing spray. It can make a huge improvement on inexpensive viscose, cotton, and linen, which tend to be very thin, so they wrinkle easily. Allow ironed or steamed items, sized or not, to dry thoroughly before wearing, I use a fan in my laundry to speed this up, a half hour suffices for most clothes with a fan. Dry clothes are much more wrinkle-resistant, damp ones crease very easily. Hope this helps🙂
Hi Jenny, funnily enough I was waffling about that the other day. I would always say I was an ironing lover (and literally quite enjoyed it) however a brand called Steamery sent me their steamer recently and I'm totally converted! I'd tried steamers before and I never really liked it but this one has totally changed my mind. Worth a peek if you're in the market for a new one:) x
Oh no really? That's such a shame:( I've ordered 3 pairs from them so far and personally not had an issue so far but that's interesting to hear that's sadly not been everyone's experience:/ I love their quality so fingers crossed they read this and listen:)
Love these kind of videos!!!so helpful!! Thank you so much Jessie . I would love to know what size are the tailored pants in look 2 from another stories?Do they fit tts?🥰😍🥰😍
Thank you so much Maureen, I really appreciate your support for me and my channel, I'm so pleased you find my ideas helpful. Happy styling those neutrals next week then! x
