You are genuinely so so fun & engaging, honestly, I need to know .. what has been your EFL teaching journey? Like I am so curious about where you studied and what experiences you have had that helped mould you into the fun & quirky teacher you now have become? I am doing a TEFL cert at the moment but it's not that great and I don't feel prepared for a classroom. Do you have a select few methods or a certain mindset to your teaching that you have developed through the years that you can maybe share with new teachers? Thank you so much for this video, amazing ideas!!!
Ohhhh that´s such a kind comment!! Thank you for your support!!! I´d be willing to share my experiences with you for sure. Are you on Instagram? So we can use direct messages @teacher_littlemary
❤️ Thanks for the support! I've got other videos with more speaking activities if you want to watch them 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O_FXsC_DzSY.html
Thanks!! I was running outa ideas. At least I've got new stuff for 2021! Otherwise the same set of students I've got this year would find me so predictable ;)
Thank you for commenting Brenda! I´m going to post two more videos with simple Speaking activities this week, hope they are all useful! Happy new year!
Oh this is so great! Thanks so much for your ideas and also for your hard work in presenting them to us, I really appreciate it :) Also could I please ask as a newbie, what do you use to write and draw or how? what programs? Thanks very much!
Hey Joanna, sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for the comment! I use Google Slides for my material and Zoom for the lessons. I explain more here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vpOmjfvbWRs.html hope this helps

Hi Mary,I am trying to get the secret door, but apparantly they charge for it.What do you mean by "you have to take the development out"? Could you be so kind as to explain please.Thank you.
@@justteachmethod , thank you! I use Zoom as well, but I can’t find the stars. I know about the reactions button, but there’s no stars ⭐️. I’ll keep looking for it!
Sure thing! 😊 I'll be working on some ideas for activities to teach present perfect over the next month. While it won't be a tutorial per se, I'll share five speaking activities to teach the present perfect past present. Stay tuned for that!
Glad you liked it ❤️. I've just posted a new video on Speaking Activities and I'm happy to announce that I'll soon have 100% ready-to-use lessons! Please check my IG @teacherlittlemary_ for fresh updates!

Hi, I've just tried the Secret Door web page, and I don't through the door. I just get the ambient music. What Browser are you using? Does it need 'Flash Player'?
I found that is my Firefox browser as it works in Google Chrome. I also found this website that has some nice panoramas to use. ivrpa.org/about-ivrpa/#Website
Ohhh I will have a look today. But sometimes it happened to me that it wasn't working for some hours and then got back to normal. I'll check more options 🙂🙂
Oh funny that it isn't my favourite video at all, as - at that time I didn't know anything about video edition, being engaging on camera when I recorded it 😅 You may like this more recent one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lJ_p32WfHxc.htmlsi=9gQO7RAvT1JHEYG-, thanks for commenting
As a new teacher, I really welcomed your ideas. I teach primary and middle school students as well as English speaking club. I plan to incorporate most of these. Thank you for posting.

Oh that's interesting! I would love to learn Arabic, but it seems just impossible to me 😊 Glad you liked the ideas, there are many more videos with Speaking activities ❤️
I find it harder to create interesting lessons for men. The older, the harder. Also btw, Mary. You're speaking with a British accent and it sounds really good, but you're still using rhotic R's. If you stop doing that, your accent will improve right away. It just sounds unusual to pronounce the R in an RP-like accent :)
Thanks for commenting! I use mostly the British Council website and free stuff from Internet. I talk more about it here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vpOmjfvbWRs.html ❤️

Because there are no links, you just have to grab a random object from your house for act.1 and ask the student to choose a photo in a book or their phone in act.2, so they can describe it to you 💪💪💪💪❤️

This is the first video I've seen that absolutely ALL the activities are awesome and I for sure will be using them in my classes. Where have you been all this time? Haha Thanks!!!
