That hold is soooo true. We’ve been cruising since 2004 and never experienced a problem til June when they held our card for $657 for the total charges, THEN placed a hold for EACH INDIVIDUAL PURCHASES WE MADE… so again, a hold for $657 AND over 30 holds for each purchases made on the cruise that totaled $657!!! It took exactly a month to come off. Lesson learned and we will never use a debit card again. Cash or major CC only. Thank u for sharing with your viewers bc this is a MAJOR KEY

I just got back from my 1st cruise , & Lynette and Stanley I can’t Thank Y’all Enough! Everything with the cruise went so smooth!!!!!!!!!! From luggage tags, to what to bring, down to your documentation to bring with you! Every tip (I brought my tumbler and got a lanyard when we walked on cruise ) and every Thursday helped me out so much , how to use sign and sale and all! From Shreveport Louisiana Thanks my VA family ! I booked an excursion through Carnival and it was nice and smooth. The Hub app was most definitely helpful. Next time will bring a fan or go earlier in the year

Always get a balcony. Pay for almost everything before hand it'll help you budget better. Did a group on fb and doing the gift exchange.

I recommend to bring maybe some shampoo like the travel size ones and some Conditioner because mostly all cruise dose not apply conditioner

If you're married, do you need to bring your birth certificate and marriage license along with ID or passport card (that matches your married name). If bringing passport card with married name do you have to also bring marriage license too in case?

Hi! I really enjoying watching all your videos. They are very informative and you guys are entertaining at the same time. I’m planning my family’s first cruise for next year. My two children’s father is not in the picture because of his past and current life choices. When I consulted with an attorney years ago about custody, he advised me not to pursue anything legally, so I never did. Their father is on drugs and experiencing mental health issues, according to his family, so having him sign a letter giving me permission to travel with them is not an option. Do you have any experience with this type of situation, what my options would be as far as having the proper paperwork to travel with my children?

When I booked my flight I discovered the travel ins I purchased also covered my cruise as I had the international plan. So be sure to ask what is covered.

Thanks to you guys, I believe I'm set. Lynette, as a travel agent do you have any experience with the Mediterranean Viking Cruises? My son just graduated from college and I'd promised to take him to Europe (specifically Spain, France, & Italy). I told him that I'd rather go to Europe by cruise, as oppose to a traditional tour group. I know Viking Cruises aren't "Fun" or for "Younger" people, but my son is an "Art History" enthusiast and wants to see some historical sights. if you use credit card for sign and sail, do they pull one big amount at the time of the end of the cruise or do they pull money every time u buy something equalling multiple charges?

They hold up to $200 at a time, and as you continue to spend, they will add more holds to ensure there are enough funds on the card to cover the purchase on your sign and sail card

Do you know if ship time will be the same as FL time when we leave for our cruise, or FL now that day light savings time has happened while at sea? I assume it would not change, but unsure. I have a question my husband and I booked our first cruise for next year and have no idea what we were getting ourselves into lol now I’m stressing. We checked the site for gratuities and it’s 112 per person so it’s over 400 as we have children! I am in shock! But the info given in your video says 16 per person so I’m a little confused if anyone can please help me I’d appreciate it
