I'm convinced that the WWE All Stars promo was the first step to bringing Savage back in, just as video game promos were the first steps for the likes of Warrior and Sting. It's so tragic that he died just after
WWE really dropped the ball with her. She was not only a diehard wrestling fan, but was hot, charismatic, over with fans and wanted to learn to be a wrestler. She had so much wasted potential. :( ......Wonder why she never really pursued it in TNA beyond the typical valet/interviewer thing.
A little more information concerning Perry Saturn. At least part of his disappearance was spent living in my hometown of Mason City, Iowa, of all places. Sonny Onoo, who worked for WCW as a manager in the 90s, has lived in Mason City for decades and last I knew still does to this day. Somehow, word reached him that Perry was homeless down in Florida, and so he tracked him down, brought him to Mason City and put him up in one of his homes so he had a roof over his head while he worked on recovering. He apparently found some work as a bouncer for the local strip club during his stay.
Context behind Perry Saturn's situation- Dude was shot in the neck/shoulder while attempting to protect a women from 2 rapists. That is what led to his addiction and disappearance. Dude is a legit badass. (He has said he thought he was punched and not shot too)
Shamrock is the most confusing wrestler to never come back. He left WWE on good terms, and hasn’t even come back for a damn legends night. 🤷♂️ I would put him in the HOF at least, he had a solid run imo.
It was strange, as Shamrock, Mankind and the Rock were in a program and pushed together. Almost affiliated in some form or fashion with the Corporation. Shamrock did not reach the same heights as the latter two, but I agree he still did have a solid run.
I remember being so hyped for his debut. I was a UFC fan and Shamrock was my guy. I knew they were gonna dumb him down in WWF cuz he could legit beat every guy on the roster. They did ok with him but I always thought they could've made him more dominant than they did cuz Ken was a beast
I’ve read that WWE hired Shamrock’s sister as an accountant. She found out about a ton of money owed to the wrestlers and WWE didn’t take kindly to that.
I never understood why Ken Shamrock was let go in '99 and was never brought back in. During Brock's first run, I always thought Shamrock would be a great program for him. Shamrock also could've had great runs with Angle or Benoit if he had stayed with the company.
Ken shamrock was notoriously hard to work with, he struggled with changing from the shoot fighting of the octagon and the worked stuff of WWE, some big names have said in interviews that many times they got stiffed by Kenny boy...other than that the raging roid attitude didn't help either...just look at himactually chasing an opponent back stage and beating him after a botch
It would have been great if WWE had brought Shamrock back... 10-15 years ago would have been a great time! Shamrock and Lesnar, Shamrock and Angle... Would have been great!
@@MistahJayLoveken shamrock at 38-40 years old vs a young and prime brock lesnar is money through and through. Brock was already a ncaa champion. It’s really an even fight and given Brock’s toughness, shamrock might stiff him but brock can easily return it with more force. ken would have to take the legs out quick to get the upper hand on brock.
@alexello1189 OK, I'll give you that...but then what? Who else would you put him with? What else does he do storyline-wise? Nothing...from a business stand point, having a guy come in and lay stiff punches on a top guy for few months wouldn't seem worth it
Dawn Marie not only won her case, after she was no longer involved in WWE, she embezzled the money from the charity she created for former pro wrestlers who were on hard times.
It was called "Wrestlers Rescue". A non registered charity. That already is a red flag. Apparently, there were multiple promises she made, but broke them instead.@@daltonpinell6251
Shamrock is the strangest of these and seems like the most likely to be a possibility of returning. Savage, Bigelow and Chyna might all have happened if they'd lived.
I didn’t see much of Chyna (I started watching shortly after she was gone) but I remember seeing a booth set up for her at some kind of fan fest or something similar. Her booth was empty and I didn’t think much of it (thought she was at lunch or something). If I remember correctly, that’s the weekend she passed. Rip to her
Rick Rude and Lex Luger could have both been in this video. Both were on handshake deals with WWF and then jumped ship to WCW during the Monday Night wars and never returned to WWF/WWE. Rude specifically left because of the Montreal screw job, famously appearing on live Nitro and taped Raw on the same night. Sadly Rude died in 1999.
Steve Blackman. I know he made a couple of little cameos after leaving. but i wish they could have done something meaninful. guy was one of the most legit characters the company has ever had
Wasn't there an unnamed Diva who left in 2005 mentioned on the list of women who accused Vince McMahon of sexual impropriety? Just thinking, could be Christy Hemme.
It is. Christy also in numerous ocassions hinted on talking abt an “episode” in his tenure but she wasn’t ready Im sure eventually we will get it from an official source
The time i knew who ken was on wwe13 game and playing the attitiude era mode and be amazed at playing whith him and later watching some of his matches was confused at to why he wasnt recognized by the wwe such a shame
It's odd that Shamrock was never brought in to have a battle of Anklelocks with Kurt Angle. But I guess Ken was busy with the UFC most of Angle's first time with WWE.
I'm not sure Bam Bam Bigelow counts for this video as he had a run in WWE in the 80s, then went to JCP/WCW, and then came back to WWE in the early 90s.
@@melissaroszkowski8911 so you are saying triple h controls impact ? waltman wasn't brought back to wwe until he cleaned himself up . if chyna cleaned herself up and didn't do the professional sex tape she would've had a longer run in tna and she might've come back to wwe ! Back door to China 2012 was her first professional sex tape .
The rumour about Randy and Stephanie was apparently something that was started on a wrestling forum in the early days of the internet, it somehow grew into an urban legend of sorts from there. TBH I think its probably bullshit and much more likely it was a case of Randy just not being interested. Vince practically forced him to leave when he wouldn't let him wrestle and insisted he just be a commentator.
Lmao You're already wrong with this list. Bam Bam Bigelow was in WWE in 1987, then went to WCW and other promotions for a bit and then RETURNED to WWE in 1992.
Dawn Marie's WWE run from 2002-2005 was awesome her Feud with Torrie Wilson on Smackdown was amazing her Run in ECW was great the fact that she used Neckbone by Powerman 5000 was amazing that band is awesome.
@@redred1952 no it was she had a great wwe run I don't give a fuck what you think I mean her Feud with Torrie Wilson on smackdown was great plus she was great in-ring you must not have watched her wwe run from 2002-2005 because You're probably to young to have watched it.
Bigelow's Mania XI run WAS a return. He was first in WWF from 1987-1988 (which is why he's in the original NES Wrestlemania game). The time between stints was 4 years, longer than either of his runs,.
He had a major showing in one of the early Survivor Series. He was on Hulk Hogan's team I think, and was the last man standing, outlasting Hogan, and was against I think Andre the Giant and Big John Studd... I probably have the names wrong, but he was up against more than one monster. I'm pretty sure he lost, but was majorly showcased that night.
What's crazy is that WWE won't induct Shamrock into their Hall of Fame but TNA/Impact got Dwayne fucking Johnson to induct Shamrock into theirs since he was their first champion. Now granted if WWE did induct Ken they would have to skirt around probably my favorite feud of his due to obvious reasons.
Would have loved to have seen Shamrock return 10-15 years ago... And there is a very good chance we would have seen Macho Man in some form if he hadnt passed away
@@kingwokester7324its not a vaccine it’s a shot massive difference they literally changed the definitions for vaccine, pandemic, mass shooting, and recession over the last three years to fit a political agenda
It was Stephanie and Paul mainly, tgat pushed her over the edge. WWE and Xpac ( ex-boyfriend) were also guilty of the damage down to Joanie ( Chyna). We will always love and remember Joanie, aka Chyna.
I think Randy was on his way back in some form. It doesn’t sound like he had much interest in leaving his house for much of anything so it may have been limited but if he had lived even two more years I think Triple H would have gotten back in some way.
I'm surprised they didn't bring up Debra. Her & Steve Austin were married up until February '03. The cops were called & they found Debra with bruises & a bloody noise. Steve Austin was arrested & charged for Misdemeanor Assault. Because Austin was their top draw, WWE (I.e. Vince) protected him. I haven't seen her on a WWE screen in YEARS.
Ken shamrock was one of those that really wanted to come back. In 2012 though he would , been perfect time could have feud with Daniel Bryan, punk, Cena heck he could have won the mitb therefore no Miz cash in.
Always thought Nailz looked like a bigger 'Hollywood Blonde' Steve Austin but now he genuinely looks like if someone mixed Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold's DNA to create... that.
Can we do a video about wrestlers who WWE never let reach their potential...shad gaspar?! Yeah he died but the guy could work and definitely deserved a push based on purely being a great human...and WWE never pulled the trigger
She did come back for a second run following her 2003 run, that was when she ended it by basically leaving the ring during a battle royal in order to tell Vince and Horn Dog Laurinaitis to shove it
Of course WWE wouldn't reach out to Chyna. It would've been a huge conflict for Triple H & his wife Stephanie McMahon. So they figured they could put a "Band-Aid on a gunshot wound" by inducting her posthumously in the Hall of Fame with the rest of DX.
