Hey Fallout I think the Trinity Ghoul has a bugged interaction with Crown of Tempest. When used together you get crazy amounts of super energy. In about 1 minute of ad clear you can get a full middle tree super. I think the bow is giving way more super and ability energy than it should. JFYI

Just letting you know, the Trinity ghoul catalyst also works with kills from the arrows themselves, so no need for headshots, since a bodyshot gives lightning

I feel like Riskrunner with get a PvP "buff" just from the fact that everyone is gonna be using arc so it will trigger it's Arc Conductor off of the arc damage

Honestly, riskrunner has a 50% damage reduction on arc damage that it seems like Fallout forgot about, I'm certain it'll be nuts as is.

Nearly guaranteed that Riskrunner will synergize with Arc 3.0 - it's in every New Light's inventory and I'm betting Bungie will want to highlight that.

I imagine they're worried it will be way too powerful. there's part of arc warlock that will likely be a fragment, being getting grenade energy from chaining lightning. if riskrunner could proc that it would likely lead to some.... dumb builds. I hope they decide to give it synergy, and it's clear they want to, but I understand the fear of its power haha

I'm just here to give a shoutout to Stormdancer's Brace, which I feel is gonna be suuuuper good with arc 3.0. Ramping up damage during Stormtrance AND super energy refund once Stormtrance is over? Definitely gonna be a sleeper pick.

I agree, and remember that the cap for super gain from equivalent exotics that was put in last year has been removed, so get ready for infinite beams bullshit

And if the Trample perk on striker becomes a fragment* then it would be worth giving up the increased duration from Crown. *every arc super currently would benefit from extended duration on kills. Even the one shot supers like chaos reach and Thundercrash. Solar got the Deadshot and tracking perk, which increased targeting and tracking, made into a fragment so there's precedent.

I think symmetry is going to pop off. It has a great damage output and didn’t scouts get a PvE buff not too long ago? Literally perfect for symmetry. I think it’s gonna pop off

@@geroffmilan3328 yeah I've been using it in gms with arc shields and unstoppable and it's really good, if you get it to x20 it can really easily clear ads and do some decent damage to champions. I mostly use the x20 alt fire for ad control though. I really enjoyed it during inverted spire.

In fact, I haven't been playing d2 since before shadowkeep dropped, so I really haven't had much influence on what bungie does with their game. Man, i didnt even think of that combo lol. I was kinda surprised young ahamkaras spine wasn't included as well, would be kinda nuts with a glaive. Liars with acrius could also be nuts depending on our artifact mods

So I've been rocking liers on top tree with hands on, quick charge for shotty cleanup if punch doesnt kill, radiant light, powerful friends, distribution, and striking light it's crazy how built for the exotic the top tree arcstaff playstyle works for it

Just because it pops off in both pvp and pve, I gotta say it; COLDHEART! Since both Wavesplitter and Prometheus Lens have synergy with their respective subclasses, I'm confident that Coldheart will too.

They recently gave Coldheart the ability to generate ionic traces, making me think ionic traces will be a part of the buildcrafting functionality of arc 3.0 - maybe even coming to all 3 classes, who knows? edit: called it!

coldheart perk sucks against anything that isnt stationary or is somewhat moving, you miss one ammo and it destroys your dps

@@Emrirwastaken clearly you haven't used Coldheart this season because they increased the grace time before the damage boost falling off from 0.1 second to 1 whole second of forgiveness, what you described no longer happens to the weapon ever.

Right now, even as a warlock main, Arc 3.0 tempts me to dust off my hunter and run shinobu’s vows again. I’ve always been an arc strider user and I’ll be happy if it gets an improvement

3:15 If I'm not mistaken, since lightning rod now triggers off of any Arc damage final blow rather than just precision kills with the ghoul, it also triggers off of TG body shots since it deals Arc damage by default. Meaning you don't need to worry about headshots, minor detail but good to know.

You're correct. You don't need a precision kill with the catalyst. Just get a kill with the bow, or any arc kill

Yup! Even arc soul kill will trigger it with the catalyst. You can also trigger with an arc heavy weapon like a gl and rocket but you have to quickswap back to the bow before the kill registers. Works really good with rockets cuz the travel time. I've gotten some really fun chain kills in pvp and if you can keep the perk going you are unstoppable. Arc 3.0 should make it even easier so really looking forward to putting TG back on.

Ive got a good feeling Queenbreaker might be good next season If we get an arc version of volitile flow that chains shots between targets, it could chain the blind effect that queenbreaker does

Yeah, it would be useful if they did more to build into Arcstrider super exotics that rely on blocking, because in the current setup you're more rewarded for Raiden Flux for the super. It's just so strong. If there's an aspect that allows blocking to significantly increase uptime on the super or one of the exotics gets reworked to allow blocking to refund a bunch of energy similar to Ursa Furiosa, that would be great. I also want to have a variant of the Arcstrider similar to Thundercrash, where you throw your staff like a Javelin for massive damage, but that's neither here nor there....

Yeah, the arc staff super in general needs some serious help. I hope bungie makes some of these changes: -make lethal current intrinsic to the super -make whirlwind guard intrinsic to the super -add a new variant that lets you throw the spear for better Boss DPS and to deal with floaty enemies in PvE (I know, everyone is asking for this, but c'mon, valkyrie and synaptic spear are already in the game, it would be so easy) -add a new variant with blink for better movement in PvP, currently arcstrider can clear out rooms but it's too easy to run away from

I'm honestly really looking forward to using 'Liar's handshake' on my hunter again. The ability to regen, dodge, and arc lightning whenever you wanted was absolutely amazing, and I loved using it in PvP.

THEORY: Every other class has throwable melees now except arc titan and arc hunter, Insurmountable Skullfort and Liars Handshake might be really good if they get one. Also Trench Barrel + buffed Acrius + LH might be really strong.

Coldheart is going to be a fun weapon to mess around with, but my favorite one so far is about to be Synthos. Even before Arc 3.0 these things slap harder than a freight train if you run ballistic slam, pairing it with Arc 3.0 is about to be a nightmare

I keep seeing that people forget the other benefit of trench barrel: increased reload speed. Have you seen how long it takes to reload Acrius, even with catalyst? It's gonna be huge just for that.

Here's the thing: Insurmountable Skullfort will probably become obsolete now. Titans have Knockout, which triggers health regen and has an Arc empowered melee it seems really hard to see it having a place.

Trinity Ghoul with the Catalyst triggers with arc damage not just from the bow as in kills with a arc grenade or melee also gives you Lightning Rod back which is nuts

Assassins cowl is going to 100% be my main exotic next season. Being able to use it with combination blow is already dirty and slept on for end game content, but with the new fragments and such that will allow us to move faster and become even more lethal, I feel like the combo will absolutely tear through any room your throw it into

Fun fact, trinity ghoul is an arc weapon which means any kill with it is an arc kill, so you don’t even have to do the initial headshot for lightning rod to proc, just any kill with it will activate it for the next arrow

Funny thing about Riskrunner, if there's a powerful arc exotic in the PvP meta, it suddenly becomes quite a strong counter pick for your energy slot, which in turn makes Riskrunner itself a counter to other Riskrunners. I can see this potentially happening in Season 18 and wouldn't be surprised if everyone ends up carrying an on level Riskrunner in their back pockets later into the season in Trials.

I like the Prospector reload animation. I'm waiting for two more weapons where you have a breech loading hgl that they pop open and load all the individual grenades one at a time, and then another one that is single load but through a single tube that takes the grenade into the drum before it rotates to accept the next grenade to be loaded. im not sure what it's actually called but im sure you've seen a grenade launcher from call of duty that does the reload like that, one at a time but without being a breech

not an exotic, but I’m putting together a Double 100 Handling loadout. Piece of Mind with Arrowhead/Ricochet/Enhanced Perpetual Motion/ECap and a Handling MW + Without Remorse with Rifled/Accurized/Enhanced Threat Detector/Enhanced ECap and a Range MW (Smallbore + regular ECap works perfectly fine too) gives you two weapons with 100 handling on Arc, and once the novelty of that wears off you keep the shotgun and change the Piece of Mind to Chambered Comp/Stability MW to still shred

I've kept a couple with thousands of kills on them, and WILL try them out when I'm not running Riskrunner. I loved warmind cells and would like to see them have some usability again. All they need now is arc warmind cells!

Note that with the catalyst on Trinity Ghoul you don't need to get a headshot kill at all, you can get any arc kill even to start it off.

I'm excited to use Cloudstrike more often and see how if interacts with Arc 3.0. That's my favorite sniper and maybe it'll finally get a catalyst! Also looking forward to Lucky Raspberry. I've already made a build for it, tested it a few days ago pairing with arc elemental wells for stronger melees and greater grenade regen. It's killer.

A little protip to using Edge of Concurrence, if you use the perk shot as a direct hit instead of on the ground, it will deal the perk damage + a direct hit damage + grant you 1/4 energy since it counts as a direct hit. Doesnt work on the other class glaives.

I'm really looking forward to using Liar's Handshake again. I feel like everyone, but at the same time no one, knows about the hunter two punch combo with Liar's, Combination Blow, and a OTP shotgun. I'm hoping the build either gets more things to play with, or gets more potent with Arc 3.0, but as long as Arc is more viable, I know I'll be locking that exotic onto my hunter's arms and never letting go.

underrated combo for speedrunning strikes (or anything with trash ads) trinity ghoul + lion rampants = zoomin around at the speed of sound while you just tap fire to drop arrows at your feet to chain lightning this opens up your kinetic and heavy slots to burst damage stuff like rockets and shotguns and stuff :)

With the trinity ghoul catalyst you actually don’t need to get a headshot with the weapon, you can get a body shot kill and it will work, you don’t even have to kill with the weapon to proc lightning rod. As the catalyst states, “Lightning rod triggers from any arc kill”, including itself and other weapons and abilities.

Can’t wait to bring Arsenic Bite back out of my vault! Also, Salvager’s Salvo is prolly gonna be fantastic next season. For mods, reactive pulse might work well with aspects/fragments, and combining it with elemental charge or overcharge wellmaker will make it have near infinite uptime. So excited!

Small correction about Trinity Ghoul with the catalyst. If you have that finished all you need is any ARC kill. This includes bodyshots or even abilities to proc lightning rod.

I do want people to keep in mind (in reference to the assassin’s cowl + glaive) that a glaive melee is considered an *uncharged* melee. So assassin’s cowl wouldn’t work, but something like ahamkara’s grasps would. So no explodey severance enclosure glaive combo :(

Thunderlord, Trinity Ghoul, and Risk Runner are my 3 absolute favorite exotics! Instantly vaporizing groups of up to 10 trash mobs instantly just brings me peace and happiness 😁

One thing about trinity ghoul, in the video fallout mentions that with the catalyst all you need is one headshot arrow kill and then you can spam forever. This isn’t actually true but that’s because you don’t even need a headshot kill anymore. The catalyst makes the perk activate from any arc damage final blow and even without the chain lightning effect active this bow just does arc damage so body shot kills still activate the effect meaning no headshots required!

Trinity ghoul catalyst triggers from ANY arc damage. Heavy weapons, grenades, powered melee, supers and even dunemarchers chain damage. It also works great at any range because u can just spam it at ur feet in close range

As one of 5 Destiny 2 players that remembers Queenbreaker is a thing that exists, I'm hoping there's some kind of 3.0 synergy with that. Right now it's an exotic that doesn't even outclass many mid tier legendaries in the LFR field. If I got to pick I would wish for quick swapping between the two sights by holding R (you still have to do it through the weapon inspect menu) and having each sight proc a different effect. Maybe chain lighting on headshot for combat sight and a champion round for the long range sight.

Two things I'm looking forward to seeing the most beyond the obvious stuff. 1. Getaway Artist + Nezarec's Whisper if Arc Buddy gets any sort of buff / interaction with Arc Verbs 2. The return of the O2P shotty + Liar's Handshake combo with a new Arc Hunter melee. Should be good times.

Liar's Handshake is my main exotic now, and will be my main exotic next season. I won 5 of my matches in my Flawless card last Friday punching Titans out of their bubble and off the map via Cross Counter. The amount of times I get the OHK with my Without Remorse, that leads into a OHK, One-Two Punch melee, which leads into a OHK Cross Counter...is astonishingly high. On top of Deadly Reach paired with Combination Blow, I get mindless melee kills 10 to 15 times a game in Quickplay.

You got one thing wrong about Trinity Ghoul. The lightning rod ability no longer requires a headshot as it says "any arc final blow" which includes the bow's base damage. Body shotting an enemy, as it uses Arc damage for its type, will proc the ability.

I want one thing and one thing only for Edge of Concurrence. Allow it to benefit from Combination Blow as a normal melee does, which in turn would let it work with Assassins Cowl. Cherry on top would be a catalyst that lets it actually proc Combination Blow when it’s fully charged.

I think that one exotic armor piece that would be broken if not just really strong is assassin's cowl, because that combination of getting health and invis from the armor and then also getting a lot of health from killing enemies with your melee attack would just really strong. Kind of like a budget version of classy resto + invis

To activate the trinity ghoul catalyst, you can either kill and enemy, it doesn’t have to be a headshot, or kill an enemy with arc abilities.

Honestly, I only found out that prospector is an arc weapon a couple of weeks ago, I always took the "burns enemies" as meaning it was a solar weapon. Also, I'm most excited for Collective Obligation, Next season it will be able to infinitely chain it's buffs off of enemies due to a removed cooldown, Gaining void buffs after being afflicted means that it will become the riskrunner of void, Anyone running Child will allow you to sap weaken off of it, And in 6v6, That means you can weaken quite a large number of people for your allies to have an easier time taking down.

For Arc 3.0 I hope warlocks gain a similar ability to sunspots, where it's a electric pool on the ground when getting kills with arc abilities or weapons. Let that replace ionic traces or if you build up say 10 ionics which persist even after death you drop a electric well down on the enemy kills, which can kill other enemies inside and count towards ionic traces. Just set a hard cooldown of 10 seconds or so.

You only have to do the exotic glaive quest one time. The way to get it for other characters is simply by farming wellspring. You don't even need to be on the character you're missing the glaive on, will still drop eventually.

I've been doing Altars of Sorrow to work on catalysts, and right now it's Trespasser's turn. It just feels good to use, and I think it'll be a fun burst-fire weapon for next season. Also, Traveler's Chosen was great this season in things like Wellspring when I just wanted to keep my abilities rolling as much as possible, so I wager it'll be a decent option again next season too.

Riskrunner is already really strong- I can survive a normal plug one shot if I’m holding it riskrunner. On warlocks, equip middle tree arc and crown of tempests. Ability energy from most kills, pair with sniper
