oh my gosh FINALLY someone who mentions this!! Lui has been and always will be one of the most powerful/experienced and respected bladers out there, yet they STILL continue to use him as a guinea pig for the new main characters to just beat. Like in quaddrive when Bel immediately beat Lui in the first episode? Yeah, if that was in season 1 or 2 things would’ve gone much differently. Lui has so much more experience than the newer bladers, he’s a freaking LEGEND for god’s sake, but they still continue to ignore his talent and power just to put a name on the new bladers. It’s one of the many reasons I had to wait to watch the rest of Beyblade Burst QuadDrive because Lui losing was just so illogical it made me angry.
