Hope you enjoy these grooves! If you'd like to take these concepts further, you can book a one-on-one online lesson with me here: JeffRandallDrumming.com
Always love your lessons Jeff! No nonsense, straight to the point, and most of all great skills on the drums, and that's what I'm here for! :)) Awesome!
Thanks alot for sharing these beats! Very easy to follow with the sheet music below and nice that you showed which songs the beats were from so people can shed to them by themselves!🙏🤘
Thank you Jeff for another great video! You're the only drumming channel I can think of where I enjoy every second of every video! Really one of a kind! Also, I've been waiting for Everlong since I saw the title of the video :)
I’m struck by how many people miss that line! Gonna have to keep it alive! I already recorded the next video, but rest assured “I hope all is well” is staying. You guys are the best.
Dude! Great to have you back. Killer lesson as always. How about “the doomed” by a perfect circle? Seen lots of interpretations of that groove, I’d love to see yours!
Thank you for this. Amazing practice material. The tom groove from All American Rejects is a brain breaker. It took me a solid hour to get it solid and up to speed. Again, thank you!
Great video as always Jeff - yes I also missed the signature ‘Hi ,Hope all is well’ Your playing inspires and the sound and layout of the content is well though out. Have been considering the 18i20 myself and have read good reviews...sounds great 👍
“I hope all is well” is staying! Already recorded the next video but I’ll be sure to keep it going forward. Love that everyone’s into it. Also, the new 3rd generation 18i20 is excellent! I’m coming from an older PreSonus Firestudio and the Scarlett is so much cleaner, has a ton more headroom, and the preamps have so much more power! Loving it thus far.
Thanks Derek! I’m trying this new thing with my snare micing actually. I have a dynamic mic facing the side of the snare by about 2 inches away. This gives me a bit of the bottom and top to work with instead of using two mics (one on top and one on bottom). It’s been working well!
is it really a "humble drum shed"? the sound and vision quality is so good i think you may be in a super high tech studio just pretending you're in a lock up storage unit... if not, then all pro recording studios should abandon their expensive facilities and just rent a unit next door to you (and pay you to play on all their sessions)!
