Calendula hate our dry heat. Mine struggle so bad that I cut them back all the way to the quick. I'm zone 9. Heat 105-110 is normal. They love the cooler weather of October and November and look beautiful then.

Yes.. not too hot for the Calendula! That's why it's great to start in the late summer/early fall!
