Ten foods on my Do Not Eat List to lose 120 pounds. These are the 10 foods that I will never eat again to maintain my weight loss after getting healthy.
Are you looking to become healthier? Do you need to lose a lot of weight and keep it off? Have you been yo-yo dieting your entire life? Follow my channel to see how I learned to get healthy and lose weight by eating a low carb ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting, eating whole foods and cutting out processed foods.
I've lost over 120 pounds by changing my diet, and that has changed my life. I'm working on becoming super human, and you can too!
Can you reverse diabetes? Hypertension? Heart disease? Can what you eat and the way you eat prevent cancer? I have reversed my pre-diabetes and hypertension with changing what I eat and how I eat.
I am not a medical professional, a nutritionist, dietician, or a fitness expert. I'm just someone who is sharing my experience about what I've learned, what I've done, and what I believe to be true.

Thank you for your videos. I have lost 56lbs since January 2024. I want to lose 28 more. That is 2 stones . After losing 4 stones. I have more or less followed the same healthy plan as you have done . Your videos are keeping me motivated. I am 5ft tall and age 73 years. I was 101.5 kilos or 16 stones. Very obese for my height. I swelled up so for health reasons I had to intermittent fast 14 to 16 hours a day. Thank you again

Thanks Scott, I think you listed a lot of things there that I have an addiction to, except fast food and soda, which I've never really liked. One week carnivore here, it was tough shopping with my partner today, as they want some cards, so I'm making meals that have plants and carbs but I'm just eating the meat components and a little above the ground veg on the side. I'm hoping my other half joins in when the results begin to show!

I'm sorry to have to break it to you... Texas Roadhouse uses soy oil to fry anything. They even use it to cook their steaks... They even whip it into their "butter".

Thanks for sharing. That's exactly right. That's the main issue with trying to eat good when eating out. You generally have no idea what kinds of oils are being used, and they are usually bad.

I work at the railroad and spent some years in the rail yards. It will gross you out to see how many steps and how long it takes to get that grain to a plate. I’m amazed it isn’t rotten in the grain cars. It certainly is everywhere on the grain cars themselves and everywhere they sit parked. Smells like roadkill. Grain is a commodity like lumber or coal, it’s not a food.

My father would wait all day - even after he was 90 years old - to eat three LARGE pieces of my homemade pie. Other than that, he ate moderately. I eat that way too, so I know what you mean....one piece of pie is not enough!

My next video will be what I am currently eating to maintain and that includes a lot of proteins. I’ll include a bit of how I cook some of my proteins, but it won’t be a full recipe. When it comes to protein, instead of trying to add variety with various seasonings, I just vary the type of protein I’m preparing.

So proud of you and your wife for taking this journey to become healthier. Your list is almost the same as mine. I have done keto off and on for a few years, but now after listening to Several people/doctors on youtube and audio books (Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. William Davis, Barbara Oniel) I finally have the truth and knowledge to make good choices. The big fat surprise book/movie is a good one to watch/listen to as well. I am 65 and sure wish I knew all this when I was younger. Thank you for sharing your journey!

Hi Scott, yes to the cooking/recipes videos!! Brilliant idea. Yep I'm with you on sugar. Professor Lustig worth looking up. 'Pure White and Deadly' - 70's book on how dangerous sugar is for the liver was his inpiration too. Great channel mate - common sense talking at last!

Great video! Keep spreading the truth! It’s amazing how deceived we all were! By the way, I have lost 75 pounds doing keto/carnivore. And I too was addicted to diet Dr Pepper, and finally gave it up partway into this process.

Sugar, Flour, Seed Oils....These also all stimulate food cravings in food addicts. I can't go off the rails at Thanksgiving because then I'm off all Holiday season. If I substitute foods like crustless pumpkin pie made artificial sweeteners, it is better but still not great. It's hard because I still make the cookies and stuff for my family. But if I eat even one- then it's off to the races!

Exactly right! I’m working on learning to make some of the things I’ve missed without those. I do believe Allulose makes an excellent sugar replacement and it’s a natural substance. Just haven’t found something that makes a great flour replacement for things like cake and cookies.

Olive oils evren if marked extra virgin can be adulterated. Many are cut with canola, rapeseed, safflower, and some wi even say mixed tocopherols. So, just being called "Olive Oil" "Virgin" or "Cold Pressed" doesn't make it safe. Best book to get is "Know Your Fats" by Mary G. Enig, Ph.D

Seed oils were once marketed as the healthiest option by mainstream/sewage stream “authorities “. Butter and olive oil were bad fats back then.

The closer to nature the better. 😊 I don’t know if I’m being smart or lazy or both. Hahaha I’m trying to have one BAS (Big A** Salad) everyday now. I’m only halfway through the video but the one thing I would add to the do not eat list is things that I have no control over even if they are Whole Foods ie. Sunflower seeds and salted roasted nuts of any kind. Hope you are well!

That's a really good point. There are a lot of nuts that can be eaten healthily, in the proper quantities, by most people. But, like you, I have trouble moderating. I keep trying, but in my year of maintaining, I have struggled with over consuming pistachios.

@@becoming_superhuman I tried to regulate the sunflower seeds by buying them a. Only on the weekends and b. A smaller size. I still didn’t feel I had control so for now I’m skipping them all together. I made my hubby bring them to work! Haha

I am not. I am able to increase my bodies production of GLP-1 (what Semaglutide does) naturally by eating a lot of eggs, avocado, and meat/protein. Almost everybody can, but big pharma would rather sell you a shot that is needed for the rest of your life.

@@becoming_superhuman 🧐 I never knew GLP-1 was produced NATURALLY. Makes sense with the decline in cravings from eating the aforementioned items. Wow! I finally got to use 'aforementioned' since that vocabulary test in the 80s.
