Whatever happened to Tomko?another dude that was completely forgotten. I know he was in WWE first, but I knew him from TNA when he had his run with AJ styles and Christian Cage
I very much do remember Murphey, mostly because he works as Judias in NWA and in promotions local to me. I admit, I was hoping to hear a bit of a shoutout to his post-TNA career when you brought him up.
I watched a lot of TNA when I was younger so I recognized most of these guys. Still surprised Ink Inc. didn't get more success. They seemed to fit the aesthetic of that time period (at least as I remember it as a teen) fairly well and I remember them being over. I might be misremembering, though. Also, Judas Mesias was cool. I remember his barbed wire massacre match with Abyss being pretty fun.
I remember all of these, though I didn't get TNA until 2004, when it finally aired as a weekly show. So I never saw MVP or Crash Holly wrestle in TNA, but I knew they did wrestle for TNA.
I hear that TNAS's signing of Chris Melendez was a mistake someone told bookers to sign... the one legged wrestler... meaning Zack Gowan aka Tenacious Z and signed the wrong one
I hope to see Simon Miller get a Joe Hendry type push one day. I remember when Joe Hendry used to do lists for this channel! I believe in Simon Miller just as much as I believe in Joe Hendry.
as a fan of markyd123 who basically covers all of TNA......ive heard of all these names outside of dakota darsow sadly xD Anarquia had SUPER heat with EVERYONE (apparently) backstage which is why he was gone. When it comes to Mad Mikey (crash holly) Also as far as i know, he wasnt let go from TNA He died while with the company. They had a tribute and everything
I remember all these guys. I was really angry at Mesias because I saw what he was doing in AAA. His stuff was great and the fact that they brought him in just so they could do Undertaker/Kane program with Abyss was horrible when he could have been doing so much more. I was also expecting to see people like Kid Kash, Jerelle Clarke, Test, David Young, Shane Douglas etc. on this list.
Yes I fucking do remember them; I've watched TNA/Impact Wrestling the whole time, as before AEW, it was the ONLY thing REMOTELY close to an alternative...
i did remember about half of these, before they were even mentioned, and most of them after they were mentioned by name. i do easily remember MVP in tna, when he worked with (and against) Lashley, but not that first run before he was called mvp... so, does that count? just for being not just wwe this gets a thumbs up automatically... and also a bit of nostalgia.
A1 I Remember Him In Team Canada I Remember The Fans at Ringside Chanted A1 Steaksauce at Him Boy That was funny, Chris Melendez, Crash Holly's TNA Run, Rellik, Judas Mesias, Murphy And Ink, Inc.
1st real match I remember seeing in person was a dark wwe with a rookie Brock lez and crash holly. It's sad to hear he passed like younger than me, if that makes sense.
Chris Melendez was pretty cool. I liked Rellik. It was crazy but at least they tried. Ink Inc was pretty cool. I read that Jesse Neal was kind of a jerk to people behind the scenes, apparently. I guess that didn't earn him many fans. Mesias, not MEN-zias. 😂😂 Gunner was all right, but Murphy was just kinda there.
The fact tna has ran longer than wcw n ecw says it all. They just get where they stand good match's n obv boom periods. Hhh shld work with them proper n hv a war but no wcw a fare War obv WWE wins but just.
