I have a friend who was in 5th grade and his sister was graduating and she got a new mustang. His dad asked him what he wanted when he graduated and he told him the truck at the dealership . His dad went out and bought that loaded 87 k10 shortbed . It went directly to their body shop and got the “ Heartbeat of America “ pinstriped on the tailgate and filled it with racing gas . To this day it’s basically sits in the garage on blocks with 13 miles on it . He keeps it started and run through the gears to keep it lubed up . It’s a true time capsule .

@@johnnymoran180 Ethanol fuel started being sold in the 80's so maybe he wanted to get fuel without it so it wouldn't eat up the seals, etc... I don't know how much race fuel would help since the engine couldn't use the octane and there was a chance it contained lead so it might mess up the catalytic converter. But, I guess he could do anything he wanted with it since it's his truck!

What a great find ! It is amazing how vehicles are garaged for decades & only a few people know they exist. An older car with 110 total miles is unheard of.... I am sure the new owners will be delighted with any of these cars.. Thanks for sharing Dennis.

Great video Denny some nice finds. That 68 Chevelle ragtop that's neat to still see the California smoggers still intact on it so many people remove those back in the day when they weren't out there in lala land. I'm curious to know did you buy the Caddy too?

My Father had an Amoco later American full service gas station with three bays fom 1960-1986. My twin brother and I born in 1953, worked summers there as youngster pumping gas when regular was $0.18/gallon and reular unleaded was around $0.24/gallon. Those were the Muscle Car Era of my time. I saw alot of these beautiful cars and trucks come in to gas or get tires,brakes. They were built tough and anyone could work on one. Not like today's plastic bodied automobiles and all the gizmos on them that disqualify most people from working on them. Had to subcribe...Since, I found your channel "very cool" and informative.

My dad had a 1991 Blazer two tone black and red with red interior. Drove it 43k in a year and a half and traded it in. He buys something new every 1-3 years and to this day that Blazer was my favorite. Brings back memories.

Talk about brining back memories!! Growing up we had that exact same color and interior as the 110 mile original. My parents bought one brand new in 90. Wow these square bodies are bringing in crazy money. This guy was a smart man, he saw the value in these trucks. IMO the Best Buy or the year for sure

Just FYI Dennis,The three speed Chevelle has a Saginaw trans. The Muncie trans was phased out years earlier...It's tiny when compared to the Saginaw trans.

Luigi's is really good but that steak looked awesome. That 91 Jimmy has an extra pin stripe mine did not have but mine was well over 300K when I sold it and she lived in the rust belt so not at all clean anymore. Nice to see trucks still so clean. I hope some of them get to be driven before they are put away again, it is nice to see them so clean but sad to see them sit and not get loved.

MY first car to drive was a 1967 AMC Rebel 199 with 3 on the tree, My father made me drive in reverse around the edge of the field. I must have drove 20 miles in reverse. I am good backing a car or truck in a space. Great truck hope you do great with them.

I've never really been much of a GM fan, but for me the "Holy Grail" would be one of the screen used GMC trucks from the tv show The Rockford Files. The last I heard of one some guy in Florida owned one. I don't how true that is and if it is what kind of shape is it it.?

Those Chevrolet & GMC square body models were produced from 1973 through 1991, except the regular cab pickups "half ton & three quarter ton models only" were discontinued in 1987 & the one ton regular cab pickups were discontinued in 1989.

I got a 84 Oldsmobile 98 Brougham with 61k original miles. Interior is literally on the needle point of perfect. Fuel pump and a carb rebuild for the p.o.s. Rochester quadrajet would have her purring

I still have the 81 square body that my kids learned to drive on. Mine has about 180,000 miles, and is a 305 with automatic & a/c. Looks like new inside but outside has some rust spots near bottom of driver door,very minor,i hope! Outside is filthy from sitting in the barn for years. They are good old trucks with lots of memories! Thanks for bringing back some of those memories. Hmm, maybe i'll drop a battary in her & see if she'll fire up....

Frankly, at the start of the video, I thought Dennis would end up buying the whole lot of them. Still, he got to pick the cream of the crop I suppose. How he finds these gems is beyond me! In Australia, people would kill for those 63 Chevs, in any condition. Sadly, the shipping costs are the real killer, and the lack of spares here.
