This time, I selected 10 items to try out at an unmanned sweets store in Japan 🍧
Unmanned sales are popular now, but it still feels strange to not have a salesperson...
However, I think there will be more shops like this in the future😳

Very interesting to see. Where I am from, a shop like that wouldn't last a day as poor acting individuals would clear it out without paying. Is wonderful to see somewhere that still has a moral sense of right and wrong and is capable of functioning in such a capacity.

I’m Canadian but used to live in Japan. Always impressed me with the honesty and integrity Japanese people have. I lived in one of the biggest cities in the world where people had flower pots outside their homes. In Canada some jerk would have smashed them.

Thanks for watching! All of this is possible for everyone to pay a fee. I'm glad that the public safety is good enough for stores like this to survive. The number of such shops has been increasing in recent years, especially in Japan, where there is a serious labor shortage. 😆

In my new home city, we are in the process of getting a 24 hour self serve store, it’s not quite done yet; but that kind of thing takes more than the 3 months it’s been since they started building it to finish it up!

So many fancy and tasty looking desserts! I wish we could have such 24 hour shops, but when they're unmanned, there's too many people who would take advantage or would vandalize it. Fruit Sandwiches aren't usually eaten here in US, our bread isn't as fluffy and sweet as shokopan. The omosubi ice cream are so cute and convinient! The strawberry dango looks the tastiest :D

In Japan, fruit sandwiches are also sold at convenience stores, so if you have the chance, please do! 😊Omusubi ice cream was a big shock to me too! The strawberry dumplings were really delicious, so I want you to try them! !

うちの近くにもあるのでたまに行きます😊 先日はブリュレドーナツ🍩を買いました、ちょっとだけレンジで温めたら凄く美味しかったです😊 うちの姑様はチョコ味のロールアイスがお気に入りです。行く度に少しずつ内容が変わっているので毎回楽しみです❤

Manhattan roll ice cream! The mint flavor was very refreshing and delicious 😋 I was worried that the apple candy would hurt my teeth, but it tasted really good!

Everything is looking very tasty and very exotic) But the self-service pastry shop - it's really something new. Never seen anythig like it. Didn't understand about cash machine - it works with bank cards and has the english interface?

Everything was sweet and delicious! ! Payment is only in cash, which is a bit inconvenient. I think there are two reasons to pay cash at this store. (This is just a prediction!) Unmanned retail stores that originally operated cash registers with machines suffered significant losses when their cash registers were stolen. Therefore, if you only pay in cash at toll booths and keep the fares low, even if your toll booth is stolen, the damage will be minimized. Or maybe they didn't have the budget to install a cash register for cashless payments in the first place. In any case, I thought it would be better to have more English notation 🤔😂

I'm surprised that sweets are in jars and cans instead in plastic cups. More suprised that they have transparent cans. I saw those in different video and I was blown away. I though this can have realistic overprint.

As someone else said, a shop like that wouldn't make it in my town either. That makes me sad to say. I am very interested in the Dango. I believe I'd let them defrost and then put them in a bowl with all the syrup and whipped cream. Strawberry! I'd try the other flavors too.

Very simple you solve the problem of stealing.If the amount is not paid the doors will automatically secured closed. If you dont have enough money just buy a cheaper sweet.

Very cool dessert shop, but there is only one problem for me, the computer used to calculate all the groceries is in Japanese only, and i only speak 2 languages, english and portuguese, my native language.
