It didn't make the list, but the one where Steve's contraption shot the TV through the ceiling into Carl's bedroom was the funniest one, in my opinion. 😂😂😂
God, I wish it were somehow possible for this show to never have ended. I know it’s not, but I can’t watch it enough. Just wish there could have been more. One of my all time favorite shows, by far. It’s so wholesome and hilarious. It’s just amazing. I’ll never get tired of rewatching all episodes over and over and over and over and over again. I can see myself being 80 years old (if I live that long) and still watching it and loving it just as much. Lol.
I think my favorite one that wasn’t in this video has to be when the tv shoots up through the floor into Carl and Harriet’s bedroom. Steve: At least no one was hurt. Carl: Not Yet!
I always thought it was hilarious when he jumps through the window. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Family Matters had a huge budget. There were tons of destruction scenes that Urkle didn't cause too
Nice. But one destructive moment that made me lol was... Steve destroying Chicago with his science fair project: The atom bomb. Hearing his catchphrase echoed during the explosion cracked me up every time I see it.
That was in Laura's dreams. I don't think Steve would actually build an atom bomb without any reason, considering that he could get his uncle, Dirk, in serious trouble with the government.
That one time the house was leaking from the roof and Carl was to cheap to hire a roof repair man he did it himself. Suprising towards the end the roof was repaired until Steve showed from his victory and used his Jetpack inside everything was going great until it malfunctioned and he shot straight through the roof leaving a giant hole behind! 🤣
Best moments was when Steve and Laura went to the prom. Steve promised not to destroy anything. He unintentionally does it anyway. Him moving chair causes the whole prom to fall apart
2:28 Carl sitting in his chair with his dead stare reminds me of a similar scene in S7E20 ("Twinkle Toes Faldo") where Steve shows Carl his Slug Boy chair invention with the built-in popcorn dispenser and soft drink dispenser. But as Carl sits in the chair, tests its features, and is about to enjoy his relaxation, the chair all of a sudden malfunctions and causes popcorn and tea to spew everywhere, and Carl just sits there with that dead look on his face. 💀☠😂🤣😭😆
I recently watched this show again and it was funnier to me now than when i was a child. I also appreciated how good Jaleel White played the character.
These got old really quick for me as a kid when I watched FM. By 10, I got tired of watching him break and fall over stuff. I will say, him being accused of blowing up the chemistry lab is probably my fav, when he says “I DIDNT DO THAT!”
Most of the damages done to the Winslow home was by Steve, but he's not the only one. Carl, Eddie, Waldo and even Myra have done significant damages as well. 1. Mr. Badwrench: Ignoring Harriette's admonition to hire a qualified professional to help with the renovation of one of the spare rooms into Mother Winslow's personal bathroom, Carl enlists Eddie into a futile attempt to get the job done themselves. In the end, he was forced to admit defeat when she proves his ineptitude by demonstrating how he crosses the plumbing lines and hires a professional to help him out. 2. The Party: Carl entrusted Eddie to not have friends over at the house while the adults are at Daryl's house celebrating his birthday and has Laura make sure he's following the rules. He obeys at first, but when dinner is ruined due to his distraction, Rodney comes over with Pizza to save them. Afterwards, Eddie tries to kick him out as he promised Carl that he wouldn't have friends around while his parents are out. His resolve was weakened when two girls show up and soon it culminates into a wild party. When the adults come home, Laura tried to pin the blame solely on Eddie to avoid being punished for her culpability in it. Despite her best efforts, Judy gets her in trouble by telling on her to Carl about it with photos to back it up. This lead to both him and Harriette giving Eddie and Laura a piece of their minds. Being too angry to punish them for the night, Carl sends the older kids to their room for bed. 3. The Big Fix: Carl attempts to repair a broken chair against Harriette's admonition to get it replaced and later regrets it as usual. 4. The Crash Course: Eddie's unlicensed driving caused him to drive the car through the front of the house. Instead of taking responsibility for himself, he let Steve cover for him and Laura railed on him for it. It wasn't until after seeing him going to military school and being given a baseball mitt, that Eddie finally confesses. Not only he got grounded by Carl, but he would have to explain himself to Dr. Urkel about it. 5. Fight the Good Fight: Carl attempts to fix the vacuum cleaner against Harriette's admonition to just get it replaced. In the end after his latest failure, he finally listens and gets a replacement vacuum cleaner. 6. Brain Over Brawn: Eddie causes damages to the roof by stepping on the leak and causing him to crash into the living room. This episode is one of the only times Carl was able to prove that he can fix things around the house only having to pay for his injuries. 7. An Officer and a Waldo: Carl attempts to fix a defective ice machine, but overdoes it. After causing more damages, he finally looks for a repairman. However, the man proves to be a scammer who doesn't do his job. Carl threatens arrest if he doesn't do his job and fix the ice maker in the refrigerator. 8. Buds 'n Buns: After Urkel has stopped bothering the Winslows to commit to Myra, Carl decides to grill his steaks in peace. He had ignored Harriette's admonition to get the gas tank repaired on their barbecue grill before doing any grilling. When the grill careens through the window, she admonishes Carl for this and orders him to get the kitchen window fixed or he's going to be sleeping on the couch for the next few nights. 9. It Didn't Happen One Night: Carl ignored Harriette's admonition to get a professional to get the kitchen window fixed properly. This is the 2nd time that he was able to prove her wrong. 10. Aunt Oona: After Eddie and Waldo crashed through the kitchen door in the backyard with Waldo's defective snowmobile, Carl and Harriette punishes them by forcing them to come up with the money. 11. Revenge of the Nerd: Myra breaks the kitchen window by tossing Carl's barbecue grill through it after Steve refuses to marry her and decides to break up with her.
I neglected to watch the video because we had a hurricane and the power was out yesterday. Finally got to watch it today. I’m so glad to hear Family Matters is doing well with the views. Also, are you gonna watch Hocus Pocus 2 since it’s out on Disney Plus today?
