Except that so many male and female actors feel the need to hide their sexuality because producers feel it will reduce interest in them in terms of opposite sex attraction in regard to their fanbase. So in many respects, it is just as relevant today.

None of these "shock" me. It is clearly established from Kinsey and other researchers that spectrum of sexual activity/attraction is broad. Some of these actors were probably gay or bi in the modern sense, then there were others who were basically straight but may have fooled around with another man a few times and then there were probably a couple that it was just a rumor that was not clearly established.

Cesar Romero was my godfather from way back in the day. Somehow or other my father knew him and he volunteered to be my godfather. We lived in the west side of the San Fernando Valley and there were lots of actors living there back in the day. My dad was a handy man who did work on many actors' homes.

While some were publicly closeted, some/many were known within the industry as being either gay or bisexual. Coming out with this video at this time, saying that people today will be shocked is laughable because these actors have had their "secrets" revealed years ago and should not be shocking or unheard of by anyone. Even if they performed homosexual acts or had physical relationships with other men, just saying they were gay is ignoring the facts that bisexuality does exist. Gay and Straight are NOT the only sexualities that exist in this world, and not recognizing this is something that shouldn't be. Many of the relationships/marriages of these men were set up by the studios supposedly "protect" the actor's reputations for their own protection and to continue their own fantasy of movies. Many studio heads, producers and directors were as involved in homosexual activities, if not more, than the ones they tried to hide the facts about. Still and all, there was only all the speculation about these men because of the way it was being hidden. The casting couch was used as much on the men as it was on the women.
What is laughable is that anyone would take these unevidenced claims as anything but agenda driven lies or as in this case used as click bait.
