Just tried out the Blanket Pillow Hack...AMAzinG! I don't often write in the comments but this was gold! My extra blankets have been slumped in a rope basket for years just causing clutter in our small space and now I can actually put them to use? Thanks so much Emily
Loved the coat hanger hack!! We have so many of those that came with kids clothes and sit unused in the closet….my endless open bags of frozen goods can now be sealed!🎉
Mine two, we have electric throws and they looked really messy with the electric cords showing. The blanket to cushion worked perfectly and looks so neat !!!
I use the Cozi app, it has lists including grocery, calendars, birthdays etc all in the one place that we can all access, and reminders will pop up too. Another thing I do is fold up a duvet set into one of their pillow cases to keep the set altogether. Third thing I do is link my knickers to their matching bras by feeding the strap through a leg and fastening the strap, folding the knickers into the cup of the bra.
Omg! The coat hanger clip! That’s new to me! Definitely trying that! I used to put a damp cloth with fabric conditioner and water on in the dryer when I had things that needed decreasing 🙌🏼 Thankyou as always emily ❤
I watch hundreds of hack vids and I even use the scoop idea but girl you smashed it with so many that fully surprised me!! Loved every one of these hacks! Thank you
I love this video! I'm going to try several of them, including the blanket one and the dryer steaming. I also like the candle wax hack. Thank you for doing this!
Emily, these were great hacks. So so useful. Love them all but best one was the blanket into the pillow. I have loads of blankets for snuggling but they do take up so much space. Now they will be tidy and compact.
Thank you so much for taking the time to teach that blanket hack step-by-step. I’ve watched other RU-vid videos that share it, but it never worked for me. You did such a great job, and my kids were so impressed as well. ❤
Folding the blanket into a pillow!!! GENIUS! Thanks Emily, having the blankets hanging around the couch drives me crazy so definitely going to try this!
Saw you in Chessington today!! You were getting off the Gruffalo ride with Jackson, thought of shouting Hi but didn't want to distract you whilst climbing off the ride!!
This works well for buttering bread, and we always keep a stick in the cupboard, too. But depending on how warm the temp of your house is, the butter will be too soft and the structure of the cake/cookies will not set up properly.
I was so confused at the coat hanger hack for packets.. surely everyone just uses their clothes pegs? Then I realized maybe most people in the northern hemisphere don't have many clothes pegs anymore because they have dryers. Is that right? In South Africa, most of us still hang washing outside because electricity is too expensive to run a dryer every day. (I don't even own a dryer). So we always have lots of clothes pegs.
Great hacks Emily - those hangers with the clips are so annoying - but what about using the clips for pairing the kids' wellies to keep pairs together and avoid losing one. As usual fab vlog. 🥰xx
You're amazing, just discovered your channel. I'm a stay at home mom and I would like to help and be productive while at home. Just don't know what to do. How do you manage to achieve all this? Seriously you're perfect 😮😮😊😊😊
I've used the spaghetti candle trick before. You can end up with a slight burnt toast smell if you use the spaghetti to light multiple wicks, but it fades quickly.
OMG I love the bag clip one, going to start using this instead of clothes pegs🙂. Pillow one is great too.... You may already know this but If you put a dry towel in the tumble dryer with wet clothes it cuts down on drying time. xx
Cool hacks - you can put your butter on a plate in microwave on defrost and it will melt it in about 30 -60 secs instead of having to wait for the hot glass.😊
If it’s to be either softened or melted I put it into the microwave, covered, on lowest setting but check every few seconds, oh and I always slice it into small cubes with a knife in the bowl itself.
Hi Emily! I have a request for a possible video on laundry. I have almost always used a dryer, but have heard you comment on air drying clothes. As I am now mom of two and in the midst of potty training it seems like I should look into updating how we do laundry. Would love some more info. Thanks!
Some great Home Hacks in this Emily . Where do you find all these from ? I am going to try the butter one and the one about getting the cut cake out the box on the lid. Have a great day .
Thanks emily love all your tricks and tips video, its the best❤ loved the handwash and cake storing hack the best, just hope i remember to do these hacks😂
OMG😮 I absolutely love the blanket/pillow hack!! My son's love soft pillows. We are just like you, we have 20 or more blankets 😂😂❤❤ Thank you for the awesome hacks.
I use Waitrose cotton flower ironing water for steaming and it makes ironing more pleasurable. Trying to learn a bit of Welsh whilst ironing is a lot more challenging!
