I believe you! Oh Bad Kissingen is lovely, but there are too many old ppl for me 😂 but Franconian cuisine 🤩🤩🤩 that is something what I love about this place
@@cooking-the-world lol, too many old people 😂 It’s Beautiful, but I was there when there was a military base, so it wasn’t so old back then. They used to have the best little convenience store, downtown, that sold a certain kind of gummy that I can not find anywhere now. I also lived in Osterholz Scharmbeck and Aschaffenburg. Food everywhere is Amazing in Germany!
Your voice is as sweet as the cakes.🙂 Been living in Germany for the last 13 years. I am just overwhelmed by the variety of cakes and breads as we don't have them in the Phil. My daughter will have her First Communion in April. For sure I will be preparing some from the list. 🙂🤗
I moved to Stuttgart in September and haven't traveled much due to the pandemic. These videos have been so helpful to me to learn and experiment with the local supermarkets and cuisine. Danke!
Thank you for your hard work on this video. We appreciate your sacrifice! Baking cakes is like almost everything... the only way it becomes easy, is practice.
I just stumbled across your channel this evening. I love it and immediately subscribed. I have been watching your videos all evening. I would love to try some of your recipes. Have you ever thought of doing a cookbook? Or Zoom cooking classes? Many of these dishes I have not heard of here in America. Love your channel. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thanks Kimberly for your kind words and thanks for watching! I would love to create a traditional German cooking classes or even publish a book:) but for the moment I don’t have time for any additional projects because I am also taking care of my 9 months old son. At this age he’s very time consuming 😉 but extremely sweet ☺️
Looking for a recipe for Furst Puckler. I had a scrumptious cake I used to get from Hartmanns Kaffe Haus (now out of buisness). There were three layers of cream (vanilla, strawberry & chocolate) the cake was covered in marzipan and then dark chocolate.
I would like to try all of them :) ich bin aus Polen and we have got also some multilayered cakes but I see that you have got also nice torte in Germany. Unfortunately cannot try them here in Bristol, UK. We have got here only Christmas German Market but it can be cancelled this year due to COVID.
I see the problem. In Germany all Christmas Markets are also closed this year. Oh, well, we have to drink at home 😀Germany had many "Torten", but I guess to try them you would need to come here. I am half Polish and my grandmother use to bake this classic Polish tort with vanilla and chocolate cream for our birthdays. What a lovely memory.
By any chance, do you have a video on the mendle torte? My boss had it in Germany and the gave us the challenge to doing one for him, and I can't find it anywhere
It was the chocolate layer Kirchner and whip cream cake. The name i heard it by was Black Forrest Cake. But I had another perhaps in Austria a 10 layered white cake with cream filling. The layers were super then and very decadent.
@@anunearthlychild8569 my grandparents took me out to an Austrian restaurant (in America) for my birthday. Black Forest cake was always on the dessert menu.
I am German with Polish origins. I speak 4 foreign languages fluently, I guess thats what make me sound like I sound. And no - I don’t speak Russian for that matter, so wrong guess 🤣
