Adam mentioning Pacitti is the closure I needed, I don't need to see them working together again but just hearing "we're cool, everything is fine" was wonderful and genuinely made me emotional. I'd still love to see someone like Pacitti or Ross in a Blood On The Clocktower video though, I think that would be brilliant
I won't bully for it but I'd pop off if during Quizzilmania we just hear, "bum bum, bum bum, bum bum, are you ready!" But I'm glad they're cool with one another
Yeah why I’d love to see them work together again at some point on something I’d hate it if they forced themselves to work together, if they are happier just not doing it then I’m cool with that
I'd love to see them work together again, I just worry that people would focus far more on the event of them being together than the actual content itself which is probably why it'll never happen.
Gotta agree with Pacitti's placement here. As someone who watched WCPW during it's inception all the way up until the split into Cultaholic, I enjoyed the heck out of it and he was a great part of it. Reminds me of getting to meet both Adams in Orlando during WM32 weekend. Good times.
@@JaimeD. exactly this. I got into this side of wrestling in about 2015/16 through whatculture. That was exactly the time of WCPW. If it wasn’t for WCPW I probably never would’ve heard of ROH, NJPW, and half of the talents that came across and worked with Adam Pacitti.
Adam mentioned Pacitti and gave him the respect he deserved. You can tell just how much their partnership and friendship meant to each other and gave it the perfect amount of closure. I don't need to see the two channels working together, we'll always have those old school WhatCulture days and that's what made them so special. The fact that Adam had the strength to say he's moved on and is happy in his life now means so much. Thank you Adam ❤️ And yeah, Pacitti in WCPW was just the perfect dickhead dork and he was great and still is.
Adam Blampied and Adam Pacitti's videos (not forgetting Simon, Jack and Ross) were one of the two things that got me back into wrestling back in 2016. Seeing Pacitti on this list put a smile on my face and though we're not gonna see them together again anytime soon it's good to hear kind words. The other thing was meeting a new group of friends after work on night and watching the NXT Takeover with DIY vs The Revival 2 out of 3 falls live. Reminded me how good it could be.
Plumpy mentioning Pacitti takes me back to 2015-17 when wrestling RU-vid peaked at WhatCulture. Honestly, I hope that they’re cool with one another behind-the-scenes after all that drama at Cultaholic.
That glowstick moment still remains a memorable spectacle for me. People were so behind Martin Kirby and Pacitti ruining that perfect win angered the whole crowd...with JR and Cornette as witnesses to the whole thing.
Adam Pacitti & Adam Blampied is the Forbidden Door crossover we know is never professionally happening again, but something to reminisce about that actually happened.
I just want to say, Adam versus Adam was something that made me enjoy wrestling when I thought wrestling was really hard to enjoy still. Both helped me get back into enjoying it, and sparked my interest enough to find wrestle talk as well with Oli and Luke. So seeing Adam P get his mention here with his WCPW character was a splendid surprise
He's been mentioned in the comments already, but I would also add Lucha Underground "owner" Dario Cueto to the list. Man played the role of mobster turned wrestling promoter to perfection
I know Adam hates the Eugene storyline but Regal coming out to defend him against HHH was an amazing promo/moment. He's been amazing in everything he's done.
That promo makes me cry cause you hear regal break as his nephew has a mild special needs and you can see he hates the character but in kayfabe won’t let anyone harm him. My cousin has special needs and it hits home cause I would actually kill if someone tried to hurt it 😢
Regal also had a third run with authority in 2008 as Raw GM, when he also won King of the Ring. His power trip story was getting good before a wellness policy suspension put an end to it.
Glad you and Pacitti are still cool, Adam! I'll miss the two of you dorking it up together, but hey, memories last forever on RU-vid, unless the channel dies of course. Thanks for the memories with him and thank you!
Hearing Adam mention Pacitti and heap a lot of deserved praise on him puts a smile on my face. Here's to hoping you guys can at least reunite for a Quizzlemania, maybe PFK vs Cultaholic?
Couldn't agree more with William Regal being number 1 on this list. Nobody IMO was a greater GM than William Regal when it comes to him being in charge of NXT. He was a mentor to most of the talent he scouted and brought to NXT, helped them find themselves and hone their craft, helped build up NXT and he was a GM who demanded respect.
I worked in a restaurant/bar with a couple guys from Guatemala and they loved Vickie Guerrero....even with the heel schtick...made me realize that in the 2000's there really wasn't Hispanic reputation in wwe (not good reputation at least) so to have someone in a authority position they loved her even as a heel
Actually, Regal did the GM role awesomely THREE times: Commissioner Regal and the NXT GM role, along with his excellent 2007-08 role as GM where he won King of the Ring, took Raw off the bloody air one night, and if rumors are to be believed, was in line for a World title run before his Wellness violation.
Gotta admit, my jaw hit the floor when Pacitti got a shoutout! 😮 Both of them got me hooked on their content and to see both of them doing well puts a huge smile on my face. I think I’m getting emotional here 🥲
Honestly, I think Stephanie should be on this list. Her work in 2000 and even 2002-2003 was pretty good. I’ll admit that her run in the 2010s wasn’t the best, but those other good years make her a good authority figure imo
genuinely emotional at Adam talking so glowingly about Pacitti. it sounds silly but their dynamic was a big part of my childhood and why i pursued pro wrestling content creation. major respect. 👏🏼
putting Regal at nr 1 was just heartwarming for me! William Regal, for me, is one of THE best to ever work in the wrestling industry. He became my hero during is legendary match against Bill Goldberg on an episode of WCW Monday Nitro in 1998.
Blampied mentioning Adam Pacitti, the same guy that made him be called Plumpy all those years ago, in 2022 is just wonderful to hear Teddy being at #10 feels kinda odd, he's like Top 5 at least. The Top 2 is interchangeable for me though.
Growing up watching the "peak" of whatculture and WCPW, BX and Pacitti Club rivalry etc, hearing Adam acknowledge Adam and give him the credit he deserves, and saying "we are cool" gave me such closure after all this time. Obviously a cultaholic x PFK collab would be great, but it's not something that's needed. I'm glad everyone from back then is still doing great and having great success, as they were a massive part of my younger teenage years 💙
When WhatCulture was at its peak it was honestly my favorite time of wrestling. That crew made me enjoy wrestling again and man do I miss them. I still go back and watch those old videos. Legends
I enjoyed WCPW at the start, I have to put a lot of that enjoyment to the personalities from WC that were part of it during the time. While I’d enjoy the two Adams working together again sometime in the future, hearing y’all are in a good place works for me! (Also, Pacitti as GM was exactly what was needed for WCPW at that time)
Best William Regal impression ever is @SteveHere on Quizzlemania. I don’t remember which episode, but everyone was amazed. Steve is great at impersonation. His Undertaker is funny as anything.
I had no idea that Eric was only RAW GM for 3 years? It seems like it was for longer, honestly. I'm so happy that Regal was number one on this list, he's honestly my favourite wrestling authority figure of all time next to Lucha Underground's Dario Cueto!
*Spoiler alert* WHAT'S ADAM PARMESAN DOING IN THE PARTSFUNZONE?? Nah in all seriousness, as a fan of the old WhatCulture Wrestling, glad to hear all's cool between both parties
Missing footnote - After Jack Tunney retired from the WWF, he decided to travel the world talking in-depth about cars and getting into shenanigans with his best friends Richard Hammond and James May.
It’s good to know you and pacitti are still friends I know it’s never gonna happen again but hearing about the what-culture crew from that time makes me think of a more fun time in my life where I’d watch almost everything they put out cause it was so entertaining I support the both of you wrestle talk and cultiholic cause y’all make some of the best news videos and lists out of anyone else
I think everyone agrees we got a nice feeling when Adam Mentioned Pacitti i wanted one of the sides to at least mention eachother and im happy it happened!
Honorable mention to Adam Pearce. I like him as an on-screen authority figure. He strikes me as an everyman who tries to keep the peace for the most part.
I know the Cultaholic lot have mentioned Adam before but it's nice to see Blampied talk about Pacitti in this. I agree we don't need to see the 2 channels work together, We've had Cultaholic vs Wrestle talk years ago and I think it would be a bad idea for it to happen again, just think of the amount of comments asking for it to happen over and over or saying someone should go somewhere. Both sides are happy with where they are and have found success which is the most important thing. We always have the days of Pacitti and Plumpy to go back to anyway
This video deserves to be the most viewed on the channel purely for Adam mentioning Adam…. That was legit fourth wall breaking. Well done, sir. Really hoping you get a shout-out on CH in return
Adam Blampied praising Adam Pacitti brings their kayfabe beef full circle to mutual respect. Definitely an expected but more than welcome bright spot to my Sunday! I'm now convinced the two occasionally meet in a log cabin and solve mysteries.
