I actually have the electric wire brush, but mine has a water bottle like the other brush you had, and it heats up so you can steam clean. It works a lot better that way as opposed to dry.

I have the water grill brush. Use it when the grill is hot and everything is nicely steamed off. Mine has lasted nearly daily grilling for 4 months a year for the past 3 years.
