Mornings are so important to me. I love the quiet. (I like soft light in the morning too! I have string lights-incandescent only-on my fireplace, and I also light candles). But I spend time talking with the Lord, journaling, and sipping coffee or tea. If I don’t do this, I feel incomplete and unprepared for my day. Starting my day in gentleness helps me be gentle throughout. I enjoy your lovely videos! (I may have to look into this colostrum). ☺️
So true. The precious quietness, the lovely soft light. I use it to recenter, to get myself in a good place, to embrace forgiveness, to stay present, and to remember the impermanence of everything.

Such peace and love in your home. I live a very similar life, and I’m finding it more and more difficult to go out into the world when I’m so relaxed and happy at my little homestead.. I’m blessed to be retired, so I’m learning new skills as you had suggested…making herbal medicines, reading Christian books, volunteering at my church charity shop, and tending to the church plants in the sanctuary are what keep me involved but never over looking my Husband, dogs, cats and chickens, at our little home in the woods.. thank you and James for adding so much beauty back out into the world, for me as well as many learning this wonderful, attainable lifestyle of peace and harmony that you are sharing… ❤️love -Joline
Oh how I enjoyed this❤. I rarely use lamps and found that I did so much better without them. I use oil lamps and what my grandkids call cozy lights. They are small low wattage primitive lights in each room as I have always told them where there is a glow of light, there is hope and not to fear the darkness. Candles are my personal passion…the soft glow, relaxation and the awesome scent are so relaxing for me. I have seven furbabies that I love so much and treasure their unconditional love. I've been asking God to help me clean out my truck driver mouth. I'm not sure it working though. It always comes out of my mouth before my brain catches up. I think i started being like this because people seem to think if your meek and quiet you make a good door mat and they can just ignore your voice. It's a hard habit to break but it bothers me because it's not really who i am.
God will give you victory. I am a testament to that. Words will slip out and you will realize it. Ask for forgiveness and keep going. Soon you will catch the words before they leave your mouth. Thank Him. Ask for the Holy spirit to come into your heart and change you into the person God wants you to be. Be blessed friend!

It's not what goes into your mouth that defiles you. You are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. I found that this summer in the Bible, I don't cuss much at all, but I can be irritated and lose patience with my husband at times! It works both ways but I can try and do better and lead by showing the way.

Yeeeesss, pretty over 50 has a video about cooking oils, she had two guest speakers, re: all the pesticides,etc bad oils etc. Canola, sunflower, grapeseed, rapeseed oils, so bad!! They were saying that those oils were originally produced to grease heavy machinery.. they go really deep into it, it was absolutely fascinating.. unfortunately i cannot recall the names of the two guests she was interviewing but it was so informative.

I live in the middle of Alaska, in a white birch forest. It’s dark here in the winter and I cherish the darkness. I find it to be relaxing. I start my day with soft light and a hot drink before the kids wake up. I’ve been enjoying your vlogs. Thank you for encouraging femininity and virtue. On the other hand, summertime brings a lot of sunlight and I start my mornings out on our deck, listening to the birds, rocking on my glider, soaking in my gardens and flowers. Watching the bees. I’m the mother of 10 and a foster momma. I love my life.

You brought back memories of when I was a young momma.. I had five under the age of five... I would put in this one cd and all the kids knew when that cd was on it was time for rest.. they were not made to nap but they knew they had to be quiet and stay in their beds for that length of the cd about a hour... Gave me as a overwhelmed momma a little break to rest also
Oh this is so precious…I rarely get to hear from mamas with so many littles…I had four under four as I had a 3, 2 and newborns and whew it was so much at once but so so so sweet. Are yours grown now? My oldest is 10 and I miss it already! Trying to savor every moment and day with my Savior as I shepherd their hearts. ❤❤❤

The two boys are both paid firefighters, two of the girls are cna at a local nursing home and one is a stay at home momma... They are a true blessing to my heart..

Hebrew meaning of words most of the time have deeper meaning that can be hard to translate , it more what’s inside and our identity.
