Pokespe’s original illustrator has her own Pokémon stand-in as well that being an oddish (I thing that is how it is spelled)
The way that Deoxys’s transformations work in the FireRed & LeafGreen arc is one giant reference to its Forme-change mechanics in Gen 3. When I realized that, it was fucking brilliant.
