You are not very knowledgeable about horses or someone has been giving you false information. The Arabian horse did not originate on the Arabian peninsula. The origin of this breed is North Africa Morocco and Lydia, countries of that area.

Thanks for the info. According to a recent study, there are many legends regarding their origin, some of which date back even to the times of King Solomon. The present study attempts to determine the real origin of the breed through the analysis of mtDNA sequences from American and Polish Arabs that are deposited in GenBank. The findings show that the origin of the breed is heterogeneous and that the diversity among particular sequences grouped into ten haplogroups is significant. A set of identical and similar sequences was found by comparing Arabian sequences to those from archaeological samples and present-day horses representing different breeds. These results permit formulating the hypothesis that the Arabian horse breed was created from many different breeds and populations, and the concept of breed purity, might refer, at most, to the present population with a history that does not exceed two hundred years. www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1871141309003849

@@horseracingsense The difference between Arab horses and others is that the Arabs have preserved their breed for thousands of years. For example, the King of Saudi Arabia has horses whose lineage goes back approximately 2,000 years, and as you mentioned, they go back to the Prophet Solomon.

@@Amioni Before modern times There was no Arabian peninsula, all of what now is Arabia was part of Africa, do some more research and you will find it true.

@@bubblejomay This does not change anything before modern times there are no continents in the first place, this is a new way of dividing people that appeared with the Europeans in 16th century ... you have to check your sources because I have not heard anyone say anything like what you said and btw the name Arabian peninsula older than the African continent ,,
