I recommend the Mexican movie 4 Moons. It's one of the best gay movies I've ever seen. I genuinely felt sad and happy with this movie. It's an emotion rollercoaster.
Of the many I've seen, I think "And Then We Danced," the Georgian film was my favorite, and dealt not only with a passionate, ill-fated love relationship, but with breaking traditional barriers in the restrictive macho traditions of Georgian dancing. I also liked the Israeli film, "Out in the Dark," but a more recent Israeli film in English from the wonderful Eytan Fox, is titled "Sublet" and deals with the relationship between a young Palestinian and an older American Jew. "End of the Century" was a terrific exploration of a relationship that might have been.
SOFT LAD is another gay film you can add to the list. It's about a young British gay man who has an affair with his sister's husband and who also gets into a prestigious ballet dance school. Another gay movie is MARIO and is one of my favorite gay movies about two young Swiss soccer players who are on the same team and fall in love . Tom At The Farm is an excellent gay movie by Xavier Dolan the lead Québecois actor and of course the movie I Killed My Mother is also a fantastic movie to watch. JUST FRIENDS is another gay movie to watch, it's about two young Dutch men from different family backgrounds who fall in love together. Cheers 😊
End of century, the Norwegian one, And then we danced, (Out in the dark, Snails in the rain & Blessed boys perhaps). That makes + then 1 "favourite" but I didn't get struck by one that much +.
Gay films never change. Add a short dialogue about AIDS, and any of these movies could have been made in the 1980's or 1990's. Dreary alienation and cigarette smoke. Nothing changes.
German Reine Geschmacksache (2007) is one of my all-time favourites. Great comedy and very handsome actors. And in general Germans made a lot of good movies. Chantal im Märchenland (2024) has a lovely couple (they only have a couple of scenes, but they're great). Italian Marciando nel Buio (1995). Also Mine Vaganti (2010) is an absolute gem. The Man with the Answers (2021) is a strange movie which I didn't like at first but it really grew on me in the end. The scene at the bus stop where they just stand quietly in each other's embrace for like half a minute is very sweet. Also the main actor is 10/10. Some asian doramas (series, not movies, but still) I enjoyed a lot. Namely, Cherry Magic (Japanese version) and We Best Love. They were kind of a breath of fresh air: very different from western films but very well-fillmed with very good-looking cast and a lot of humor. Vietnamese film Thua Me Con Di (2019) is pretty sweet.
End of the Century didn't make any sense to me. Out in the Dark is excellent, but sad. I Killed My Mother is also excellent and, don't worry, he doesn't actually kill his mother.
Hiii. Can you please tell me where to watch or download snails in the rain? I've tried everywhere but couldn't find it. Much love and thank you for posting this video recommendation. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ditch the AI narration and I'll check out your channel again. Until then, I can't get past the 35 second mark. Accents are preferrable to synthetic vocals. (Just so you know why I ducked out so early when it was content I wanted to watch.)
GUYS HELP ME PLS I FORGOT THE NAME OF THIS FILM BUT ITS ABOUT A GUY WHO INTRODUCES HIS BOYFRIEND TO HIS MOTHER JUST FOR THEM TO FIND OUT SHE KILLED HIS LITTLE BROTHER YAERS AGO IN A CAR ACCIDENT anyone saw this movie plzzzzz
These list are typically disappointing given that many of the films are not available in the US or perhaps not enough information is provided on how I can view them here.
Athlete is an interesting movie, but different, not the "and they lived happily ever since" type. In my opinion, "End of the Century" is a waste of time (although some people like it). "Blessed boys" is not really what it seems, the main story is not about the potential romance, but something else. It's interesting though.

Can I remind you, that the reason for the holiday at the end of December is because it’s Xmas. What a surprise? So why not call it Xmas and cut out the nonsense about calling it the holidays.
Is simple called holidays, since is more people in the world with different religions & cultures, Christians are not the the only ones celebrating at the end of the year. Look it up
@@josed3704 true but it’s called Xmas for a reason. It doesn’t stop other religions from celebrating their festivities. Do you think in Russia or the Middle East they call their respective special religious holidays……..just “holidays” to spare the sensitivities of those who don’t share the ideology of the prevailing religion?
🙄 “prevailing religion” doesn’t mean that is the only one…. 🙄 But oh well you are “good” in your one head … obviously is one matter for people like you.. you do you 🙄
