Been there. Worst New Year's eve was when I was 8. Had a really bad cold. Could hear the fireworks from my bed and watched the ball drop with an icepack on my forehead.
to everyone reading this, hope you have an amazing year. we all faced our challenges for 2 years and we’ve pushed through it. if we can do that, do it once more. 2021 wasn’t the easiest year for me as it was for all of you. we had lockdowns and having cases rise. honestly, to me it wasn’t just Covid that made the year hard. I lost one of my closest friends due to suicide, and thinking about them actually give me more encouragement to push through the pain I’m experiencing. I want you guys to push through and take the time to thank anyone who’s supported u through hard times! Have a happy new year ♥️
USE THIS TO DESENSITIZE YOUR DOGS TO THE SOUND OF FIREWORKS BEFORE 4TH OF JULY. Teach your dog that fireworks and loud noises are NO BIG DEAL by remaining neutral calm when hearing sounds from fireworks (real or from this practice video). Play these sound effects for your dog at increasing volume leading up the the 4th of July fireworks and act like it is nothing at all...this can help your sound-phobic, anxious dog reach calmness and wellness under these circumstances
@@tatumdawncooper2012 it doesn't work like magic. dogs need repetition. it's good if you play these sounds on a loud speaker during various occasions leading up to the 4th...done correctly yes this can help desensitize most dogs that are sound-phobic. it's nice to practice your obedience training commands so you have your dogs attention, and also play with your dog/fetch while playing these sound. how you react to your dogs reaction during the actual 4th of july fireworks matters too. remain neutral / calm and can play background noise to hopefully muddle the noise outside and kennel/crate your dog if you must for safety and peace of mind, best wishes. the more we do with our dogs the more they give back to us.
tree star You actually want to treat immediately after the bang. Positive association. NEVER before. When they hear it immediately give a treat. The goal is to hear a firework and immediately think “treats”! Ignoring scared behavior won’t help them. Source: Service dog
This is exactly the reason I searched out this video. I am going to make fireworks noises boring for my pup by the time the evening roles around and the real ones start. :) It's her first 4th of July so we want to be ready!
Thank you for the non stop fireworks. This was perfect for conditioning my dogs. They have always hated fireworks, but I put this on the big screen and surround sound, 35 min later it was no big deal. New Years fireworks shouldn't be a big deal tonight.
this is amazing when you cant see the fireworks outside from the safety of your home and you don't feel like getting sick!! thank you so much for making this
I dunno if this is just something wrong in me, but I could just sit here whole days, just listening to this sounds of firework. Maybe because of nostalgia, but they always make me feel better.
This and thunderstorm videos were played to my dog often while he was young. Now he enjoys coming outside to watch fireworks with me. Highly recommend for conditioning pets!
@@tuxnor Same here :) My dog didn't care at all, I'm glad she was so relaxed with hearing real fireworks for the first time. My last dog was afraid of everything, New Years Eve was always a terrible time for her. Good to know, that there are dogs that are so tough! :D
Perfect for celebrating Bonfire Night (5th November) and staying home. I projected this on to my ceiling and it's like I was actually out there (only I was warm too)!
The neighbors that have been blowing money on fire works EVERY SINGLE NITE for weeks now are going to be sorry you gave me that idea. Playing this at 5:00am for them.
Watching this, days after new years eve, because the holidays always just feel like they've passed way too quickly and like I didn't get the chance to truly enjoy them. I always feel just a bit empty and frustrated after them. The busyness and quarrels between family or friends during them don't help. Being able to indulge myself in the mood fully, in a warm blanket, looking at fireworks and with some hot cocoa helps a lot. Happy New Year everyone, may 2022 be a lot kinder to you all and give you plenty of exciting joyful moments.
I really like these videos, I'm sensitive to loud noises and can't attend firework celebrations, but I didn't want to miss out so I searched up fireworks and clicked on this video, thank you so much!
I'm also sensitive to loud noises, but only those that are sudden and I can't control. If I get used to the sound, then it's ok. I have never met a person who is similar, must be from when I was a lot younger since I've never liked fireworks, but I understand the struggle and it sucks :(
I stayed up on New Year’s Eve on December 30 I stayed up till 12:00am In 2019 on New Year’s Eve this year I’m going to stay up till 2020 to 2021 this year somewhere in December
Our dog is so afraid of fireworks, have been playing this off and on all day, and now he is peacefully asleep next to me and taking no notice. Thank you so much
I needed this bc my family went to the casino to see the fireworks on the fourth of July, but apparently the show moved to different casino (which was downtown) so it was a complete bust.
Great video! I will project this with my beamer on the house across the street for New Years Eve. With the ban on fireworks in The Netherlands this seems the only legit way to enjoy fireworks! Have a great 2021!!
Nice! In Holland fireworks are forbidden this year, because of high pressure in hospitals (corona-virus). So this will be on my television tomorrow (31 december).
@@BrooklynnJohnson-os8xr the fireworks on RU-vid are very interesting to see on RU-vid and be safe out there doing the fireworks on fourth of July weekend 💥
Ok weird story that happened to me when I was little. I think it was in 2014 on the fourth of July, my cousins were visiting that day and we had tons of fun playing just dance and with each other for almost the whole day. We then heard fire works going on outside and the three of us looked outside in awe. Then something insanely weird happened. My Imagination probably got the best of me because in my eyes, it looked like the fireworks were raining onto the street and once that happened, the fireworks went off on the ground and I screamed out of fear and hid behind my older cousin who was a girl. "Calm down, your in the house." She said. Huge tears were basically running down my face as I called for my older sister. She came into the living room, hugged me to. Calm me down, and for the rest of my childhood up until now I am scared of fireworks not just because they sound like gunshots to my ears, but because of what happened back then. And to top it all off, the firework thing went on the freaking news!!! HOW!?!?!
Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 it's really sad that u can't watch fireworks for real because of the coronavirus but it's safer to watch it on RU-vid in your house instead of being outside.
