I feel you but purchasing at full price isnt the only option you have. You can always order decants and samples. And sites like Jomashop, Fragrancenet along with several others allow you to make payments over time.
Bro I have alot of niche and that's still one of my favs.Dont feel pressured fragrance only does a fraction in terms of your overall presentation. Its better to have great skin nice clothes and a good designer fragrance.Rather than expensive niche and all other components are off.
Fragrances in my collection that I found Addictive & Intoxicating: - Naxos by Xerjoff - Harlem Knights by Chris Collins - Divine Aphrodisiac, Aubade/Lyric, XO Brandy, Sartorial Nuit, Siesta Drive, Eau Debonaire, and Exalt Nuit by Navitus Parfums (I bought A LOT of Navitus Parfum fragrances in 2021 and 2022 😄) - Club De Nuit Intense Men Limited Edition Pure Parfum by ARMAF - Oud Mood and Kharmah by Lattafa
My most addictive fragrances are: Goldfield & Banks Bohemian Lime YSL Tuxedo PDM Layton I love to layer Tuxedo with Nishane Wulong Cha. Also, Bohemian Lime layered with 4711 Blood Orange & Basil.
My most addictive fragrances in my collection are Bond No.9 wallstreet, vivamor by navitus, The embrace by navitus, coffee break by maison margiela, and lastly vodka on the rocks by kilian
You are 1000% right about Fougere Platine. Tom Ford mastered fougeres and green scents with both fougere and vert lines. But Fougere Platine is on another level good.
I just opened an old empty decant of Ombre leather. It’s been empty for a while now but that addicting smell of TF OL still sits in there and I like to sniff it
This fragrance called the legacy of Petra -penhaligons I cannot stop smelling, also PLUM COGNAC BY SCENT OF WOODS. And caftan I’m going to try and buy that right now! I love sweet potatoes also, with sour cream!! Fing fabulous
I MUST tell you that YSL has some other BANGERS that don't get talked about! YSL 6 PLACE SAINT SULPICE is RIDICULOUS! I have Caban, Caftan, Trench, Cuir, 24, and Tuxedo. I get more compliments, comments, and positive reactions from 6! It's stunning!! It even gets a higher Fragrantica rating than Tuxedo!! I have several hundred niche fragrances and this is in my top 5 for LIFE hands down!!! OMG I just put some on while I was writing this post..... Thank me later!!
I totally agree with you Shawn. I went to Ogilvy where I live in Montreal and smelled many from the private of YSL and 6 Place Saint Sulpice amazed me because it feels so balanced and luxurious. I want to get that one and my other new love, Babycat! Oh boy gotta try that one too, leather and vanilla. It is to die for, so amazing, ultra sexy and luxurious. These two are the epitome of luxurious with Nishane Shem and BR540 :)
My two most addicting fragrances are “He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood” by Dsquared2 and Maison Margiela “Fireplace.” Coming at a close third is “Purple Label” by Polo
My most addictive in my collection at the moment would have to be: -Tobacolor by Dior -Erba Pura by Sospiro/Xerjoff I have both lol -New York Nights by Bond No. 9 -Paragon by Initio -Nio by Xerjoff
Angels Share, Ultra Male, Sauvage Elixir, Kalan are the ones I find addictive & intoxicating. Kalan smells like a slightly more masculine BR540. Angels Share has a mouthwatering sweet & spicy apple booze aroma that I can't get enough of. It's mood altering to say the least. In the dry down it's slightly🤏🏻 reminiscent of D&G The One mixed with Ferragamo Uomo. I have to edit this to add the new Dior Homme(2020)is my new favorite morning and daytime fragrance and everyone is talking about the Dior Homme Intense (smells like lipstick) but I don't hear alot about Dior Homme(2020). This 2020 juice sends me to work in the greatest mood every day.
My Most Addictive: Noire Ambre by Issey Miyake Tuxedo by YsL Gentle Fluidity Silver by MFK Spicy Leather by SF Or Encens by Issey Miyake Ganymede by MAB Homme Intense by Dior Man in Black by Bvlgari
I went on YSL website to order tuxedo, but accidentally ordered caftan because the bottles looked so similar .. I was so upset until I realized how great it was.. definitely an underrated fragrance because of the hype of YSLs other sister fragrances
i almost made the same mistake...i'm sure that this is intentional by YSL...! I haven't tried caftan, but i am now intrigued...! Does this smell like any other fragrance?
I made the exact mistake while trying to purchase Tuxedo for the hubby. But we are both pleased with the scent. I absolutely love it in every way. He eventually got Tuxedo after as well. Not sure which one I love more.
I love Fougere Platine, but can understand the hate. The opening, and even smelling the atomizer, has a strong almost licorice anise smell that's pronounced. However, it's not the star player and once on skin, especially when it's dried down, is wonderful. Going to be my scent of the day now!
Why you gotta get me started....lets see. Afternoon swim by LV Sedley; PDM Kalan; PDM Armani code profumo H24 Angels share Black phantom by Kylian Jazz club and bt the fireplace. I can go on and on but ill rest my case here haha
I love smelling Spirit of Dubai Haibah, Xerjoff Symphonium, Tuscan Leather, Millesime Imperial, Rouge Smoking, Angels Share, Greg Lauren by Greg Lauren, Sartorial Nuit, Lyrik, BTV Ardent and my new favorite Lattafa Khamrah...man does that smell so addictive and just blows my mind. Another one I'm obsessed with is Navitus Empyreal aka chocolate scone heaven...it's 2 good 🤯
If you guys get a chance, test out Frank Boclet Erotic. My date said it was "an unfair scent". She couldn't stop smelling me. Bought a second bottle that night , haha!
@@lavelldavis1566 I live in Germany 🇩🇪 and I think I purchased it from a German website (parfumdreams or breuninger, but I am not 100% sure, cause I have quite a lot fragrances). But I think that doesn‘t help you in any way 😞, unfortunately.
Ok .. I bought a decant of coromandel, caftan, and 1947. Here’s my verdict.. caftan I don’t understand the sweet potato pie reference. But it is my favorite of the three. Coromandel… is super strong an ten minutes into first spray I sniffed it and thought damn! This thing smells like iron in the middle of a pile of thick molasses. And I kept thinking it was going to go away. An hour later it dissolved and became the fragrance it was meant to be, 1947…. I said now I know what Iris was supposed to smell like. It was definitely a feminine scent to me. It smelled like a makeup artist smacked me in the nose and then hit me with a bouquet of flowers.- 1947 not for me.
Hey bow tie fragrance guy, I got to say, those glasses of yours reminds me of that late RU-vidr named Kevin. I cannot remember his last name .🤔. Eirie😱 .
@bowtiefragranceguy- have you ever tried Roberto Kavali’s Divine Oud? I really haven’t seen anybody in the US speak on it. I grabbed a bottle about 5 years ago in Dubai. Since you like Rose Oud fragrances, you might like that one.
Blue Sapphire is top notch, I’ve had it for about a year, Equality Fragrances spoke about it a lot, copped, definitely enjoy. One of my personal favorites. Another one that I love smelling is Armani Prive Cuir Majeste
