I really enjoyed watching you create these beautiful ornaments Donna!😍 I was just strolling through and looking for inspiration and your video popped up!😘 I wasn't looking for ornaments but I started watching and was enthralled by your technique!😚 So I ended up watching the whole video and have now subscribed!😋 I'm working on totally different Christmas crafts but you've inspired me with your attention to detail! I've picked up the package of the tiny gingerbread men for two years in a row! I haven't done a project where I use a lot of them, although I was thinking about a little wreath. But I loved the way you used them in the ornaments with other small objects! I've gone wild grabbing different sizes of the trees from DT! I'm planning to make a Christmas tree lot with a stand using the little wooden crate. I'm also using the beautiful poinsettias and arranging them in the crates that I've painted and adding embellishments. Every time I watch another crafter, I am inspiration. Even if we're not making the same thing, I still get wonderful ideas! And I have certainly gotten great ideas from you!🤩 I look forward to more of your videos and seeing your creations!☺️ I'm so glad I stumbled across this video and got to see your beautiful crafts! I watched your 35 ornaments video and fell in love with your nature inspired ideas...Sooo, I went to my back yard and found bark chips, twigs, moss, tiny rocks, pieces of things that I thought had a lot of texture and went to work. I got wood circles, burlap, all the stuff I needed as cheap as I could find them. I spent several days painting, gluing, designing, creating some of the prettiest ornaments I have ever seen. And all because I watched your videos. Your ideas were so close to what I wanted, I had no loss of ideas. The ornaments looked store worthy and I sold quite a few of them at the bazaar last week. Oh my, You are so easy to follow and your voice is so easy on the ear. No chit chat, nothing to slow the continuity, just straight instructions and tips. You are truly a Nature Star!

I would use a finishing nail and a hammer to create holes in your tart tins. Hope that helps!

I wanted to give another tip whether for you or anyone else to make threading twine through things. If you don’t have one of those giant needles (I don’t), I just used floral wire as my needle. Depending on what your making,just fold your twine in half and use the floral wire (in half) to go through the hole. You can also make your own needle with the floral wire if you have enough space in your holes. Great for beading or ornament making. I hope I explained that correctly.

Though I love them all, my favorites would have to be the baking sheet with cookies and the tart tin with gingerbread house scene. I am a cat mom too, and your boy is so adorable! Miss Donna, I so appreciate your attention to detail in all your pieces. Your videos really get my creative juices flowing! One thing I've noticed is that you're using a fairly low-end mini glue gun. I got a new one last year and I can't recommend it enough. The Surebonder Mini Hot Glue Gun With Detail Tip is AMAZING! Such a precise and tiny stream of glue comes out, and the trigger is really responsive. Definitely check it out, because it's been a game-changer for me.

Wow! You give us a difficult job to choose the best one. The tiny picture frame is so cute, and could be used in a variety of ways. But the cookie sheet is too sweet!! ( your kitty is adorable! ). I love the gingerbread people in the tin! I think I'm going to make some of those white ornaments with leaves. The Deer is real adorable- as well as the jam jar. I really like the tin with the house inside, but those snowflakes are so nice! Great ideas!! I make an ornament for each of my 11 grandchildren every year. I can't decide which I like best! You're the best though!

Try mixing Elmer’s glue with the paint and just a bit of water then it looks like stained glass. It’s not water proof but looks great.

Hi Donna, I really enjoyed watching and all 10 of these ornaments are so beautiful. The galvanized deer and the mini pie tin were my favorites. I would like to try the rusting process you did with black paint then burnt umberr, burnt sienna lastly. Seems lrss messy and quicker than what I've been doing with vinegar and peroxide. Hi Donna, all of these are so darn cute!! I really liked the mushroom one, but it is so hard to choose a favorite. If you can get Gallery Glass, try that for your little jam jar, that might work better than paint. Great job! And I LOVE your little pinecones!!!!

Hi Donna, Gallery Glass is like a stained glass paint. It is great stuff! I've used it off and on for many years. I just looked at several sites and it is available at the following: Factory Direct Crafts (GREAT craft site), Amazon, Hobby Lobby and Michaels. When I first started buying it over 25 yrs ago, it was like $2.50 a bottle! Not so now, but I think you would like it. Have a great Sunday! Have you tried mixing the acrylic paint with a matte medium? I like mixing 1 part paint with about 5 parts medium but you may have to use more depending on how translucent you want. Glass paint is good too, but most people don’t have that on hand.

I have tried glaze, matte medium, glue... I think some have suggested adding water, may have to try that!! But I will look for glass paint too, that may be best 🤷‍♀️ I will have to play around one day. Thank you for your suggestion, I appreciate it 😉💕

Hi Nancy!! Yes, I used the Modge Podge sealant, but any brand can be used. That's the only brand I was able to find around here 😉 I will do my best to see where I can fit wood burning into a video, it's something I'd like to do more of too, along with all the other ideas I have spinning around in my head 🤪😆 LOL!! For the jam jar if you wanted to make it translucent I did see a woman use water down glue and added food coloring to it then swirled it in the jar and it turns out translucent.

I saw a crafter use mop-n-glow floor wax with paint on the inside of glass or plastic. I think it may have been Heidi Sonboul.

I love all of your ornaments. You are a true artist. I especially like the nature themed ornaments. The cookie tray is genius!! For the cookies if a person didn't have small wood pieces or wanted something smaller a paper punch (ex: mini tree) would work great. Thanks for faithfully sharing with us. You are appreciated.

I got them a few years ago, and I can't remember exactly where. But if you're in Canada, check Dollarama or Your Dollar Store With More. They may have them. I'd check craft stores or other Dollar stores and see, you never know what you'll find 😄 Thanks for watching 💖
