It’s more of the companies fault because they profit off the deep connection between fans and idols that’s why they have to hide who they’re dating. I think the companies(whole industry)are the ones to blame. They always show idols as ideal boyfriends or girlfriends and always avoid dating thing, so that fans love them not only as idols or singers. This is all a marketing strategy. And, of course, fans get angry, losing trust in their idols. That's just my opinion. Well, people get angry knowing that they have been lied for a long time. I think dating should be completely normalized.

Im honestly angry and disappointed that pledis didnt make an official statement regarding the matter, even if it is just to calm down the worried fans (about Joshua's health). But the only thing that makes me less frustrated is that at least pledis didnt put him on hiatus and allows him to participate in group activities.
