You have no idea how helpful this video is. I have a ton of stickers but I seem to never be able to figure out how to mix them to get a functional spread. I would love to see ideas for a monthly
Literally the BEST most concise how to for planner layouts I've ever watched ... and I've watched a lot. So many good ideas that I will be using. Loved this video 😍
I absolutely *love* these videos! They are incredibly informative. I hope you do these type of videos for a monthly layout & dashboard layout. Thank you very much!
This vidéo is HUGE ! I did not realised until now how technical planning could get. I'm a newbie to planning and just have no plan when working on my planner (how ironic !). So I end up having weeks that cery much look alike. Now I'm gonna try to think of how I want my weeks to lok like a bit more. So grateful you made this vidéo Stephanie!!!😍 😍 😍
Best layout tutorial. Thank you for breaking it down. I've had a happy planner for years and always give up on it after a few weeks because I can't figure out the best layouts for me.
Planner newbie here! I recently started planning in a vertical layout and had no idea there was this much behind all the beautiful spreads! I always wondered how planner babes made their spreads so beautiful and functional. I attempted and it was a free for all of stickers! This video is so helpful to give me some guidance, especially being so new to all of this!! Thank you so much for sharing this video!! So much more makes sense now :)
I know this is an old video out its just SOOOOO good and so helpful! I have it daved in my planner playlist and anytime i am stuck or cannot gigure out how i want to decorate my planner- I rewatch this video! ❤❤❤
This is great! The vertical layout usually makes me think of morning, afternoon, and evening which is why I don’t normally use it, but watching this video actually made me want to try a vertical again using these ideas. Thank you!
As someone who has never been able to figure out how to organize a vertical layout - this is amazing!! So helpful! I even made notes to refer to LOL! I've been using a dashboard for a few years and want to switch it up.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. With the basic drawings it has taken the overwheliming-ness of sticker designs out of the equation and this makes a lot of sense.
This was extremely helpful! The planners that are visual pleasing to me are typically vertical however I could not figure out how to use them effectively. Thank you for this!
I’m pretty sure you just became my favorite planner “youtuber” ever. Thanks for this! I’ve been bingeing your vids all morning and am so excited to get to work!
This was very helpful and gave me alot of hope. I have tons of planner supplies and I’ve been trying to happy plan for years and I have never seemed to be able to get the hang of it but I wanted to do it so badly. Your video was easy to understand and extremely informative.
I am a die hard vertical planner- just works for me. These ideas were just perfect as they will add to my creative spreads!! Maybe I won’t have to snatch so many spreads in the days to come!!! 🤣 Thank you!!
I have jumped back and forth between dashboard, horizontal, and vertical layouts. I am a SAHM and finally found a way to use the 3 boxes efficiently - top one is important daily things: appts, things like garbage day, etc. Middle box is a checklist a few times a week for housework/errands. Bottom is things like my husbands work schedule/meal planning etc
Oh my goodness. This is the best instructional video for designing layouts that I have ever seen! These formulas are going to change my planner game. Instead of being overwhelmed by blank space, I'll be excited to start my design. Thank you 😁💞
I just started using a planning journal and this is the most helpful video I have watched! I tend to be “extra” and my pages become very busy with stickers without much functionality. Thank you SO much for sharing your knowledge!
I love your videos! They are more than just... pretty. They're useful lessons! I save them here on RU-vid and watch them over and over and over and over again. Thanks a lot!
This video is brilliant. I can’t wait to try each of the spreads. What is so amazing is you are not a vertical planner, yet you come up with such creative ideas. Wow 💖.
Your video is THE one that brought me the most information starting being a planner after several years of bullet journaling. I have some art skills but some reason was kind of scratching my head about how to use them in a planner!! Thank you so much!
@@squairdplans I am going to "dig" into your videos as you seem to have tons of great ideas! Thank you from France where planning and bullet journaling are unfortunately not big enough to be resourceful.
@@squairdplans I will. Thank you so much. Do you mind giving me your name? Mine is Frédérique and I live in Brittany, France. My husband is from Seattle.
@@frederiquelong785 Nice to meet you! I’m Stephanie and I am in Southern California, but lived in the Pacific Northwest for many years (in Portland, Oregon).
I love these videos! I currently have a horizontal planner and was SO excited when I saw this video for the horizontal planning🤩 I enjoyed this one too.... I’m going to see if I can try these layout ideas in my BIG memory planner doing 1. Writing 2.photos and 3. Decor. Thanks for the inspiration 💗😍
This has been so helpful! I’m new to the vertical layout and have felt completely lost. This is a great starting point to have pretty, yet functional layouts!
I love these kind of videos. I am still trying to figure out how to make this planning thing work for me. I’ve only been doing it since March, and still haven’t found my planner peace. I’m using both the horizontal and vertical. I just started using a vertical lined layout for work. I’m gonna give it a try. I love these videos that teach you. Thanks for sharing.
EXCELLENT!!!!!! NOW I understand how to enjoy the creative planning process, not use it as a time-note keeper. (As a former scrapbooker I used a lot of page maps and layout templates). Thank you!!!!!
This was so helpful! I'm starting out in a vertical layout as I wanted to have themed areas of my day. But I am so overwhelmed at trying to balance all the cute stickers and designs while still being functional. Thank you so much for this video!!! I am saving it to reference in the future.
Such a great video! Extremely helpful! I am trying to not do the sticker thing (tried planning once before but got overwhelmed), so just sticking to different colored pens, markers, highlighters, and stencils. These examples (I copied them down for a reference) will help alot. With my ADHD brain, I think there were only about 2-3 layouts that I don't think I could handle. Random for sure, Serpentine (it's pretty but I may have to just try it), and Simplified (again, might have to try it). Having these examples will be great when it comes to planning my weeks. Thanks so much for these videos! Love your shop and templates you offer as well!
So glad you found these helpful, especially with the challenges of adhd. Anything that can help you stay organized and bring you some joy is a win! Happy planning!
I feel like I've been looking for this video for 2 years, this is totally speaking my language! Thank you! I love the vertical layout but sometimes planning out the design is a struggle and I end up with something balanced-ish but random.
This is SO HELPFUL!! Thank you! I was surprised at the end when you said you aren’t normally a vertical planner because these are great ideas with simple variety that can create so many different beautiful looks!
this is exactly what i needed! I am a newbie happy planner, I've been planning for years, but the decorative part is new to me. Thank you so much for making this video!
Thanks so much for your detailed video! I'm a very visual learner, and I appreciated how you explained and drew out the different styles of planning. Now I have a guideline that will help me create spreads that are functional and decorative!
This is awesome. I'm a vertical planner and have struggled to vary my layouts so I don't get bored. I've done some of these layouts but now I have more to add to my repertoire! The simplified layout is especially helpful because I'm on summer break and I'm on a mission to destash and use my monthly sticker/planner subscription from Cocoa Daisy. I always have so much leftover but these layouts are gonna help me use up more stickers and stuff!
Fantastic Video!!! In viewing this I realized you can focus on what the design of the whole week should look like rather than just day to day. Also, to vary my design and to not be so symmetrical!
I think you could replace the decor (3) or the focus (2) with photos for any of the spreads. If to you just document your day with a brief description and a photo, the simplified layout (#10) would be a great starting point! You could add your images where the decor is and layer smaller stickers over and around your pics! That would be super cute! 😁💕
Thank you so much for this video. It has shed so much light and has given me so much inspiration on creating my layouts. there should be a printable of this as this information is so helpful especially since I just started planning this year.
SO EASY YOU MAKE THIS AND SO BRILLIANT. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I HAVE A HARD TIME WITH DECO FOR MY PLANNER, I AM MORE OF A LISTER.....BUT I LOVE TO PLAN AND DECORATE, BUT MINE LOOKS AS THOUGH A 5 YEAR OLD DID IT....LOL
Thank you! I was just peeking today hoping maybe you had posted something like this...and much to my delight there it was! I love these videos! So helpful!
Omg, this Video is Awesome! You have Helped to me plan vertically in my Happy Planner after several failed attempts!!!! New Subscriber. Thank You So much!!
Yessss I needed this in my life, I hope this works in my mini vertical a little. I would love to see a dashboard or a mini vertical idea list from you! You rock!!!
The ideas should work no matter the layout size... just be conscious of the size of the stickers you use. Thanks for the suggestions and Happy planning!
OMG this is very helpful. It took me a few seconds to imagine this in my own planner, but when I did, I had a "light bulb over my head AHA!" moment! Thanks for the video! from Naureen
Really informative like that a lot. I never thought of there being specific layout this just took my planner to new levels. Thank you for sharing definitely will stay tuned for more videos from you. I’m working on starting RU-vid soon so I will be in touch with you I will tag u in my stuff it enhances my style gotta give credit where it’s due until then I’ll be tuned in. Awesome video
Great ideas.. thank you! I've been struggling to find a layout I like in a vertical planner, but I'm excited to try a couple of these out. I especially like the simplified layout since I tend to like using a to-do list insert for the week rather than tasks on each day.
