I love Lego! It played a huge part of my childhood, and even now as an adult, I'm fascinated by all the different sets and shows and games and everything really. Today I thought I'd take my love for Lego and combine it with my love of lost media. Let's dive into this!

Biggest piece of LEGO lost media is that one f#@$ing piece you always lose when you're building. Lol

Or WORSE... when someone bumps a set off a shelf and you can never EVER build it back right again.

There's also Bionicle Legends 7: Invasion, a cancelled (and mostly lost) book from 2007. It sounded like it would have been great. Hopefully the comics cover that part of the story but I haven't gotten around to reading them

The LEGO Batman Movie 2 is my Roman Empire. If the LEGO Movie 2 hadn’t sucked so much, we could’ve gotten so many more cinematic masterpieces. The fact that my fav, GL, will likely never have his own movie kills me

It's disappointing that there was never a sequel to the Batman Lego movie. The fickleness of audiences that somehow hate the hell out of sequels just killed the franchise after the second Lego movie, and WB wasn't going to renegotiate for one more movie. That said, I'm even more disappointed we haven't seen another DTV Justice League/Batman movie since the Shazam one, and they were JUST starting to put minifigs back into retail copies. Sure, it was a reissued Shazam, but it was a boon to those who didn't get him in the first place.

Ayoooo finally some lego ninjago content! Thank you for making ninjago lost media! :D Also rip Kirby Morrow btw. Met the guy at a convention once a long time ago (I didn’t get an autograph from him but I asked a few questions to him since when he was at the convention he was talking his roles in Anime but mostly his role as Goku from DBZ) and kinda sad that he passed! Edit: also before anyone asks why I didn’t ask him before he passed if he could of sent me the lost auditions, I don’t think he could legally send me those since at the time (hell even now) the show is ongoing so even if he was still alive I don’t think Lego would of legally allowed him to do so unless it was a special case like the one time that Kirby Morrow was allowed to send Brent Miller (the VA of Zane in the English dub) some stuff for his RU-vid channel. Now I don’t know if Lego could show off more because of the unfortunate passing of Kirby Morrow back in November of 2020 to remember him since Lego did acknowledge his passing before they chose Andrew Francis as the new VA (for those who are Ninjago fans, he voiced Morro who is the main villain of the Possession season and for the ones who never seen the show. You may recognize his voice of Shining Armor in MLP or Hawkeye from Iron Man: Armored Adventures) for Cole. I can’t say for certain if they will ever release it. I also would like to say at the time I met Kirby Morrow, I didn’t know that the certain auditions that were talked about at the time were considered as lost since the time I met him it was back in 2014 which makes me around 13 at the time so I didn’t know what lost media was until much later so unfortunately I couldn’t ask even if I wanted to.

Im surprised no one’s talks about cancel ideas for bionicle generation 2 books , to use winner of first contest Lego host before sets released , I know winner used promo parts in build ,

Geez I'm old, I've never heard of Ninjago until now, in my time it was all about Bionicle. The older games, LEGO Racer and LEGO Rock Raiders are some of my favorites.

There's one bit that really bothers me, in 2014 immediately after The LEGO Movie they did a monthly competition called the Emmet awards, each had an accompanying animation to promote it. The May one was called the Dedicated to Ma and Pa cop award and I for the life of me can't find that ONE anywhere, I remember it had a section showing Benny with the Red and White Classic Space Guys and that was a big deal to me back then

I suggest that along with the lost media ones, you should make Ninjago videos as well.

Guess I need to rewatch Ninjago. I remember liking it when I was a kid but never really got the itch to go back and really give it a chance on its own terms.

I feel like number 10 was just a result of you running out of actual LEGO lost media to discuss.

A piece of lost media that I see no one talk about is Melting Point. If you don't know what Melting Point is, It was a cancelled independently made LEGO stop motion animated film, made by Jonathan Vaughan, meant to be released sometime in the mid 2010s. The movie was mentioned in the LEGO brickumentary, during a segment about LEGO stop motion. The reason this movie was cancelled was because Jonathan himself had some sorta accident during the making of Melting Point, causing him to not be able to work on the film. Jonathan also lost interest in the project. While the film was never finished, we do know that some animation and audio for the movie was made. Since is was shown in the brickumentary, has well as a Kickstarter video for the film. But as for now, any other material for Melting Point, such as the script and other animation and audio is still lost.

In terms of Lego lost media, I remember playing a flash game that had the “LEGO City” theme. The game also had a Christmas theme to it, with the vague recollection that it had “Advent” in the title. Basically, you were a cop on a snowmobile that jumped over hills and you had to catch the criminals that were making their getaway. Funnily enough, the reason I remember it was because it had the same 8(?)-second piece of music play throughout the game. I remember when I was little trying to find it again, but not being able to. My best guess is that it was a temporary, Christmas-themed game done through the Lego Club website. I’ve never seen anyone talk about this game, but I haven’t exactly been on the hunt for it either.

I remember seeing you do a livestream on the keepers village set and was hoping you would do more Ninjago videos. It finally happened. Thanks Sewer and can't wait for the new season

I wanted to say that there are Two Lego Movie Shorts that were considered for Theatrical Release, Contagious and Emmett Amuck. I learned about both of these shorts on the Wikipedia page for the Lego Movie Franchise, where it's stated that the shorts were in Production, but ultimately went unreleased. Meaning that those Shorts are out there somewhere.

I, too, liked Chima more than most. Almost exclusively for the CCBS sets because I'm a sucker for contraction.

Nice, I honestly thought The Lego Batman Movie 2 would be number 1 instead of The Billion Brick Race because Batman to me sounds more interesting than The Billion Brick Race. Plus, I don't know if both Lego Batman Movie 2 will ever be revived at all considering Universal bought the rights to Lego and they won't be making a Lego Batman Movie 2 because Batman is owned by Warner Brothers and always will be (and not someone else by Universal). Although maybe The Billion Brick Race would be really cool to see made by Universal some day for sure who knows!!

I didn't mind Legends of Chima I thought it was a alright but it was pretty good. But when Ninjago came out I knew I struck gold I loved it it was the most greatest show I have ever watched and I'm technically a Ninjago fan boy and I know all the characters and the seasons I know everything Ninjago. Edit: but I know the old seasons I kinda stop when the second show started being made because of how it uses some of the new models and I'm not really a fan of Lloyd's new voice I like his old voice better because I grew up with at version of Lloyd.
