D & C 133:26 -26 And they who are in the north countries shall come in remembrance before the Lord; and their prophets shall hear his voice, and shall no longer stay themselves; and they shall smite the rocks, and the ice shall flow down at their presence. 2 Nephi 29:13 13 And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews. There is a large body of the Lost Tribes, they will return being led by Their Prophets and bring their scriptures with them.

I believe what the prophet Joseph Smith said about the lost ten tribes, that they have been taken from the Earth. And I believe they will return in spectacular fashion before the Savior comes again.

Also no reason some lost can not come from the polar cap(s) AND some can be gathered that had remained among the countries like Russia AND some return from off world. Per the D&C It will be an event to overshadow the crossing of Red Sea so just missionary work over 200 yrs is not likely to be the only “event” of gathering.

All three are supported by scripture. In fact if anything is less true, it would be to say that the ONLY way the gathering will occur is through missionary work to countries like Russia, China, Africa. Scripture does not support that as the only way it will occur.

Agreed. It's clear from the scriptures there is a group that will return as one body, but it's also clear that many have broken from the main group and scattered throughout the world.

Hey Jared, great video! For what it’s worth, the channel “Small Helm On A Big Ship” has a video on this where he quotes a reminiscence about what Joseph Smith said. He pointed out a small star near the North Star that was the planet in question. Statements about the North Pole were probably confusing it with the North Star. Also, Eliza R. Snow was asked where the inspiration from her hymn came, and her answer was “from my husband the Prophet”. (She was a plural wife of the Prophet Joseph Smith).

I am from Ukraine and I am tribe of Dan 10 tribes lost spiritually that is why not many of them are members of church Accept Ephram who also of 10 but not lost anymore .

Yes, i remember Sister Nelson said that all tribes were represented when she gave a talk (or was just visiting somewhere) and asked which tribe everyone was from amongst those who were present!! Isn't Ephraim one of the lost 10 tribes? A lot of us are from Ephraim!! We are here already!! I believe the lost 10 are all around us now! They were 'lost' because they had no records of their people.. they either didn't record anything or the records were lost! Not everyone on earth has received their lineage in a patriarchal blessing yet!! The tribes just went north! North doesn't have to mean North Pole(or outer space). it just means north!! Lol.. There was a group in Scotland named the Jacobites! We have to look outside the box sometimes.. the answer could be looking us in the face!! Forgive me if i have things mixed up.. but i think we are looking for something mystical and its really already here. No fanfare.. the Lord works in quiet ways. Just my opinion. Crazy, I was just watching a video from Glenn Beck about a private company, former nasa scientist discovering a way to propel, defying gravity and our current laws of physics without needing thrust like we do now. It would change all aspects of transportation. As a science geek I can’t wait to learn the science of everything!

You're missing the quote about how the 10 tribes 'are in a body together' or something like that and that John the Beloved is now ministering to them and that they will bring to us their scriptures. Obviously the people in your poll haven't seen John or brought us their scriptures.

The answer is that both can be true, 1 spread out and gathered in over time and 2 a separate group that comes perhaps taken into heaven like Enoch at a specific time. Scriptural reference Jacob chapter 5, the last shall be first and the first shall be last. Counting the number of the scattered. The ten tribes, that split into two groups, the Jews and the Lehites. Read it closely there are 4 groups not only 3.

absolutely! They have scriptures, like the Book of Mormon that we'll be able to read. some are dispersed and there is a main body. John the beloved ministers among them. Their return will be more amazing than Moses leading Israel out of Egypt (that's scripture). I believe they will return before 11 years are up (obviously I could be very wrong about that). Things are rapidly winding up.

They have been preserved by the Lord and will be instrumental in cleansing the promised land, ensuring that only the righteous remain. Only after this cleansing will Zion be built. In my opinion, these events are imminent and will occur within our lifetime.

When we talk about gathering of Israel we mean gathering ALL to Christ. Including the lost tribes. I'm from the tribe of Gad, born in Hungary. My South African husband is from the tribe of Ephraim and so is my daughter. Some of us ARE from the lost tribes. It's not either/or, I don't think. President Nelson said we are all part of the covenant either by birth or adoption. Keep up the good work. 👍

Perhaps a thought worth consideration - if the Lord can take up the city of Enoch, and Melchizedek and his people, and the Rechabites, and many other people, then why not a large body of repentant 10 tribes? And also, why not people of all ages to join them as they came up to that level of worthiness, even people from Joseph Smith's day , or our day - who would never taste death, being translated and taken to a more holy place? My personal opinion is, that if we are waiting for the fulfilment of prophecy to occur with our current rate of gathering, we are hundreds or even thousands of years away from the millennium... and I don't believe that is true. I, like you, believe the second coming is very close, and that the prophesied return of all of those people plays a remarkable role in the final gathering...

If you go to Mormon Doctrine by Bruce R McConkie, pages 455 - 458. He talks about the lost tribes and quotes the Prophet Ezra (Esdras), where he talks about the tribes heading north and how they moved north for several years. People dropped out as they moved north as a body and it sprinkled the ten tribes through out Europe. Then the main body was taken off the earth. Parley P Pratt talks about how parts of the earth were taken off with Enoch's city, the Great flood, The Lost Tribes, and when Christ was crucified.

Agree with @brothercherrio there is zero reason why some could not have been lifted and some remained. Just as Enoch and Melchezidec were lifted off but righteous Abraham remained. We can gather those who remain and others can still return at the appointment time

I think we need to remember that within our genealogies, we carry the blood of some of the other tribes. I mainly come through Ephraim, but my father has Jewish blood in hin( which means tribe of Judah, and my mother has the blood of Mannasah. Both my father and mother’s main lineage is also Ephraim. We had gotten the Patriarchal Blessings of our family ancestors which tells their lineages. We in turn have that in our blood passed on to us by them. The church has copies of Patriarchal Blessings you can get. Just request for the name of your relative, and as you know it will declare their lineage. That’s why genealogy is important. We are all linked and we can find out what lineages Are in our blood.

My understanding is that it is both. There are some that are scattered throughout the world and that is how the prophecy is fulfilled that the seed of Abraham would be sprinkled throughout the world. the Doctrine and Covenants to me seems to say that there is also a Remnant that is in one body because they have their own Prophets and their own scripture. That is my opinion for what it is worth

I don't think there's any contradiction. There's a distinction between: 1. Scattered Israel (who were scattered across the European countries, and from whom many of us are descended), and 2. The Lost 10 Tribes of Israel (who sought to worship God more purely, who (somewhere) exist as a body today, and who will return as a body with the scriptures, led by their prophets). Are the Lost 10 Tribes off-world? Translated to a Terrestrial Sphere? Underground in a hollow earth? Don't know. We'll see.

This scripture suggests that some of the children of Israel were driven out, scattered not only to other parts of the earth, but specifically to the outmost parts of heaven… and that the Lord would gather them in. I believe He is specifically speaking of the lost 10 tribes who were driven out in one body, and not those who were scattered among all nations on the earth.

Moses 7:60-69 gives answer concerning Zion from above and Zion from below. ….. …. Also 1 Nephi 22:4 proves tribes are “scattered upon islands of the sea” .. 2 Nephi 21:11 …”Lord shall set his hand second time to recover his people from islands of sea “. .. 29:7 “Lord remembers those upon islands of the sea”.

Read in the Bible dictionary under Israel, kingdom of. Last paragraph It states the gathering of the lost tribes will be more spectacular than the parting of Red Sea. This is going to be a huge event. We will be amazed! I do think this event will be them coming from heaven. There is also many scriptures which talk about this.

Read these three books by Anthony E Larson, And the Moon Shall Turn to Blood, And the Earth Shall Reel To and Fro and And There Shall Be a New Heaven and a New Earth. They are based on the Electric Universe concept from a Latter-day Saint perspective. The first book talks about the Exodus and the plagues deriving from complications due to the planetary comet Venus on one of its near-misses to Earth as it was roaming rogue through the chaotic settling of the new solar system. The second deals with Mars being the reason for the long day of Joshua as it came near to our planet and retarded the rotation of the earth as it too was roaming rogue before settling into its orbit around the sun. The third one deals with the planetary stack configuration and its break up around the time of the Great Flood as well as the occasional break-up of the Earth when the City of Enoch fled from the earth as well as during the days of Peleg, at the disappearance of the Lost Tribes of Israel and at the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It also tells of the restoration of those earthly bodies back to their original locations and possibly the restoration of the Earth's primordial relationship with its original star and planetary configuration.
