One of the best Mac App channels out there. I love that you don't waffle on for 2 minutes beforehand but just get straight into it and deliver important information. Also love that you consistently show the prices of the apps. Keep it up!
@Devan, I love that we find each other over the internet somehow at different places. Absolutely loved this channel and the quick and crisp way in which he gives value right away. Also the apps are genuine useful and not just filling content.
I feel very strongly that you are on your way to much international continued success. Great content . And for your marketing needs I’m sixty eight years old , St. Louis Missouri. Advanced university degrees and professor . Still working. Keep kicking arse.❤
⚠ IMPORTANT: With the new macOS Sonoma update, there's a native Mac battery widget coming to the Mac (in early September) - so there's not really a need for the Batteries app (03:58) anymore! Thought I'd let you know so you don't end up buying the app and discovering this afterward. I apologize for any inconvenience! Thanks for watching - hope you enjoyed the video! Here’s part 1: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OShSBif4I3Y.html Oh, and here‘s the full poem written by ChatGPT, pretty crazy… 🍎 In the world of tech, a giant stands tall A company whose name is known to all From the sleek designs of their devices To the software that powers our daily lives Apple, the name that we all know Their products, a symbol of status quo From the iPhone to the MacBook Air Their technology is beyond compare Their stores, a place of modern art A haven for those with a tech-savvy heart Their customer service, a class apart A reason why they've won so many hearts From humble beginnings, they've come so far Their innovation, a guiding star A company that's always on the move Their impact on the world, impossible to remove Apple, a name that's here to stay Their impact on the world, impossible to sway A company whose legacy will forever last Their influence, a thing of the past, present, and future, unsurpassed.
A lot of useful information and apps in this video. What I love the most is the creativity and effort you put into your videos. I had to blink twice to make sure this isn't a 4 million subscribers channel because of the thought and time put. I love what you did there with the quicktime player to have it play your camera footage. Brilliant! Keep it up
The best thing about raycast is their extension store, which can replace many of the other apps on this list. The emoji and color picker are two examples.
Another good episode with some surprising gems. Thanks! ... I see Alfred and Raycast recommended consistently by several RU-vid creators. I've tried both and have never been impressed. So many highlights from these utilities are available and work fine in Spotlight. Can you consider a presentation on scenarios where Raycast or Alfred are clearly superior over Spotlight? I suspect I would appreciate your thoughts and unique presentation style on this topic. Thanks, again!
You can literally do anything in Alfred. For example empty the trash instantly, start a FaceTime call much faster, scrape a website und show the result right in the Alfred search bar, translate text right in the search bar, change audio input output devices mich faster, share urls much faster, control windows. Literally everything you can imagine off, the only thing is if you don’t find a workflow in the internet you have to program/build it yourself.
man this is crazy, like insanely incredible. I can't imagine this is even possible and the video is a year ago, why didn't I come across this video man....this is a life saving video....how come this kind of self-evidently perfect videos and tools be invisible to me for so long... i guess I wasted all my time watching fun videos...
ngl this is a pretty good video, there are probably hundreds of “cool mac apps” vids but they mostly repeat the same names over and over again, this has been the first in a long while that has actually shown fresh apps i didn’t know about
just surfing around recommend and found your video. I have to say that your video is better than most of macos's video I found in the internet cuz I use 6 of apps you're recommending and I fall in love with 2 others (Popclip + Sleeves) thank you for the video!
Amazingly presented and thought out video! Would love to see a how I made it style video showing the animations and the tools you use. A lot to learn from you! Keep it up!!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback, that‘s really motivating! I‘ll definitely consider making a how to video one day, right now I‘m still learning and trying to improve the editing of these screen recording videos :)
EXCELLENT video! My new mac is arriving today and I am definitely checking some of these out to configure it better. It’s a mini with an LG monitor and I’m thrilled to learn there is an app that can help control volume and brightness - something I was afraid I’d have to just deal with. As a designer I can’t believe I hadn’t known about that color picker, either. Definitely giving that a try as well!
Thank you for not talking about Alfred. I'm just about tired of every Mac App video spending the entire watch time talking about that app. I just want to know about other apps! That being said, amazing video. Love your channel. Subscribed!
Hey Vince do you know of any apps that allow you to add fast forward and backward to pip videos? Its really annoying having to go to the website to do it
I didn’t know ChatGPT has independent app on its own. I thought it was only online (and it's always overloaded with users 😢). Is there a chance it has its app on iOS and iPadOS too?
Hey, thanks for watching! The app MacGPT is not directly from ChatGPT; it‘s from another developer. However, this developer has also made an app for iPhone called GeePeeTee, which is also very simply designed but powerful.
No idea how I haven't seen your stuff earlier! I already use most of these apps and know all of them but I still found your video incredibly engaging. Keep it going mate :)
Hello! I just have discovered your channel and… how is it possible that you JUST have 21k followers??? Seriously, you're 10x better than any other youtuber in your field!!! And i'm not joking! I'm french and I love the way you express! I'm really glad I discovered your channel! Thank you for your great job!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 This is really motivating to hear! I hope you'll enjoy the upcoming videos too; would love to hear from you again!
Hello, you are certainly full of info, amazing! Do you know of a way to add a note column or any custom column to mail on Mac? Would be nice but I cannot find such an option anywhere. thx
Thank you fir this video ! All your content is interesting because it goes directly to the point and it's very clear ! By the way, Mac GPT & Bing crash a lot in my Ventura (MacBook from 2015 with intel processor so no M) ^^
Opened this video of a 10.5k subs channel expecting low quality and bad content. Dude has better editing skills than people with 1M+ subs in same field. GJ
Hi, thank you! I edit my videos using Final Cut Pro. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! You can also find me on Instagram (@themacvince).
Super nice apps! As a suggestion could be nice if you could show at the start of each app the icon and the name, atleast for me is easier to understand 😅 By the way, the edit of this video is awesome keep doing it!
I love your channel ... really well only as mentioned before you speak too quickly .. enthusiasm can you even if you do it slowly ... I have a lot of new apps ,, but the problem here is that you all In the bar on the top of the screen must be packed ... and you still need to know which what was intended ..
Hey, thank you for stopping by again! In the Settings of the Color Picker app, in the General section, you should see the option "Show in menu bar instead of Dock". Here, I'd also recommend enabling "Launch at login", so the app is always open automatically. Let me know if it has worked for you! :)
so, you touched one of the issues I have with mac, but didn't answer what I was looking for. I always get logged out of websites after closing and opening the MacBook. How can i stay logged in like I do on my android or Windows devices?
Thanks for watching! That‘s actually not on purpose, I applied a green screen key effect to the video, which also keyed out the green maximize button. On my MacBook it‘s also green! Hope this helped.
