Correction in Number 1 - We've made a mistake in regards to ISTP, one of their function is Extraverted Sensing (Se), not Introverted Sensing (Si), we apologize for that mistake.
This is not an excusable mistake. The whole mbti framework relies on cognitive functions. Getting this wrong and still coming from a point of authority is misleading and downright deplorable. Fuck this whole channel.
Those tests are rubbish. I always get INTJ or INTP or ENTP. It's clear I'm either an ISTP or ESTP though. The most accurate test I've taken was a socionics test which asks about 75 questions then 10 more questions where you pick photos of people to find out which one you like or trust the most or which one annoys you the most etc. It got me the result of ESTJ-3B or some weird shit like that but it meant a sub type and it was ISTP with Ti Se. Even other socionics tests got me INTJ and some INFJ rofl.
I don't get this test either. I've been different personality types throughout my life. I took this test and my results is BDSM. What the fuck does that mean?
Anytime anyone talks about "P vs J" I always roll my eyes because that lets me know how little they know about cognitive functions. If anything, ISTP is a Ti dom, Ti is a judging function. INTJ is a Ni dom, Ni is a perceiving function. Ni is the least physical of all 16 functions, they are NOT judgers at all. If you wanna know what being judged feels like, tell a Ti dom you believe in a sky daddy and sciences should be banished. Have fun! Try not to get smashed ;)
In reference to decision making, ask yourself, “How do I justify my decisions?” Is it based off of what I believe is true to me? If yes, you are most likely an INTJ. Also, be weary of any type biases you have because you may want to ignore pieces of your experience that indicate something else
Even though I am neither of these types listening to this video helped solidify my own understanding of the nuances and differences in general, with particular regard to the sensing / intuition and perceiving / judging axes.
@@PsychologyRefresh It's been a long (3years) road for me, with a couple mistaken pit stops along the way, but regards to my own detailed understanding of how the cognitive functions work in different positions, I believe that ISTJ is my final destination.
Even for a simple groceries favor have to be planned. My mom cannot simply ask to without telling me earlier. Like i have to set my time or something. Duh.
Btw Elon Musk is a strong INTP, not INTJ based on his awkward and overly informative speech patterns. Now Mark Zuckerberg is your quintessential INTJ. Unlike Musk, his speech patterns is far more direct, clean straight to the point and far more utility focussed. Musk is far more informative and tends to ‘beat around the bush more’ than Zuckerberg. Jeff Bezos is likely an INTJ, as well, or maybe an ISTJ.
Sometimes istp, sometimes intj wtf, double personality? Some things I need structure and imaginate the future to the progress. Thinking like 2-5 or 10-20 years later or more. Some things is necessary adaptability and flexibility. I like to Control some things type money, business, Future task (notes), graphics and I tend to think slowly. Me too like improvisation, dance(break dance), fight(muay Thai, capoeira), funny, entertainment, conversation. Read books about world, or fantasy, sci-fi. Sorry for write I'm learning english yet, Hi from Brazil! I believe can't be so literal and specific nobody is a robot, we as human are complex.
