finally people remembering/realizing that using your fingers is actually better in a lot of cases and that’s also how makeup was done for centuries and even like 15 years ago LOL
@@Ark-ys2upu know what.. u r right 😳 why did I have this idea that using fingers to put make up is “dirty” & harmful to my skin ! it’s in fact the opposite lol
Yall werent blending jack shit back then. You cant lie to me, I was there. Most of us looked bad, dry, cakey and orange and the concept of blending was not in our minds lmao
@@lexijones8019 But they are right, which is the point. Yeah you guys used your fingers because there were no tools but it didn't look very good most of the time lol.
Omg the eyeliner tip! I use eyeliner daily to go to work and it always smudges in that area, now I really want to try the powder tip! Thank you! ❤ Oh, and I've always used my fingers to apply the base! I don't like using brushes, I don't like sponges haha It's way way better to use your fingers and we get a more even skin look! ❤
Thank you for the epicanthal fold tips!! So often beauty guru makeup tips don’t work for my almond eyes with fold, but the eyeliner and inner crease tips really made my makeup pop today! Going to try the powder on/around the eyeliner wing next time I really need it to stay, I often have a smudging problem. The practical and useful advice is very much appreciated!! 🥰
I'm so glad to see how people don't use "skin blur" effect to show how they are dolls as other makeup blogers. She showed as she's awesome. I like how she show her natural beauty accurately, amazing🌹
Ooh I really like the idea of highlighter in the corner of the eye and the lower lash line to brighten the area! I also like spraying my sponge with setting spray when doing my skin base. It does thin it out, you can use less all over to get a lovely skin like finish! I like these tips!
wayne goss made a video on the setting spray myth most of them actually break down your makeup and are to help if your makeup looks caked and don't actually help keep your makeup on but there are a few that work and i think he mentions them in his video
OMG GIRRRLLL I didn't know that it called an epicanthic fold but I *ALWAYS* hated it because whenever I tried to do my inner corner eyeliner it never looked beautiful like the rest of the girls. I tried so many methods on my own and I didn't know I was this close. Thanks ❤
For some reason i cant seem to apply concealer right, its never seamless and i always end up with “dry patches”… would anyone have tips to get rid of that?
The best way to avoid that is to hydrate hydrate HYDRATE and moisturize TF out of your skin first and if your concealer is drying your skin out, switch to a "hydrating concealer". For me, even though I have "dry skin", so called hydrating concealers look yuck on me and just seem...idk...oily and too wet looking.
@@SolidSiren I use a serum concealer because i thought it would be hydrating or better but it doesn’t seem to. But I’ll try moisturizing a lot, thanks!
Use a tiny bit of cream concealer, blend with your fingers, then use setting spray, then a tiny bit of loose translucent powder (by terry is the best) then setting spray again.
I loved watching your effective video. There are several techniques I will use right away. Thanks for the eye makeup reminders. The inner eye glitter (shiny) effects are lovely.
❤ such a classic look & so pretty. Enhances natural beauty, and what a beautiful face ! (even without any makeup💕) In the 90s we used our fingers/hands to apply liquid makeup & though I don't use it much (mostly concealer & some cream blush now) it felt very weird not using my hands with makeup - Since it's how we apply face cream/serum/spf & other products, our fingers know the contours of our face very well. *if using anything around eyes, don't use your most "active" fingers- use your pinky or ring finger as these aren't used as much as the other fingers (like the pointer) & more gentle for the sensitive skin around the eyes❤
You look gorgeous 😍😍 and yes, I highly recommend blending your foundation or concealer with your fingers!! I have a vitiligo spot on my forehead and using my fingers to blend my foundation with the color of my skin helps with a natural look + coverage !!
I really enjoy vanilla vice, it’s like a vanilla version of baccarat to me, it’s not too woody . Maybe not super unique or gourmand but still sweet and cozy!
Funny enough I didn’t like the one from them that everyone says is like baccarat though. Sweet ash- I purchased it and instantly returned it. Vanilla vice is actually a super easy reach. It’s not too perfume-y and more relaxed but still somewhat sophisticated somehow and not just straight vanilla
I always thought using my fingers to blend my foundation seems a bit weird but I've tried it once and I loveeee the finishing. My skin looks more natural and seamless. Been doing this trick eversince.
You are always so helpful in guiding my decisions on Kringle because you describe in such great detail. I really like the fine line artwork on the 3 wicks! I always use your code and you deserve it. Thank you both so very much!!
I dont wear makeup, probably never will, got recommended this and I must say, she did a really good job! This was also super relaxing to watch for some reason
I never really watched your videos and I don't really watch them now, but I saw this thumbnail in my recommended... YOU LOOK SO GOOD!!! You even look younger than before. You are a gorgeous girl and, unfortunately before, I was blind to that, but you have made a complete metamorphosis. You are a beautiful butterfly 🦋
Thanks for these tips,l have been using my fingers for ages to apply foundation l sometimes use the beauty sponges for hard areas,l love how you did your make-up am lm loving this channel 😊❤
Welcome back Sis ❤❤, happy to hear you are feeling god now. Yes break is needed to avoid mental burn out. Funny enough after i took break off social media, i have been feeling a kinda unmotivated 😅😅
I learned the using your finger for foundation tip from Wayne Goss. Using the right brushes for me feels like figuring out the “correct” fork/spoon to use lol
