Me and rabbit love to camp. Last year we toured on 5 wheel hi pressure tire e rig. Something u have not seen !! We meet bears on the trail ! Super fun for the rabbit and me and now you guys too. Ya! To camping
This adventure you went on made me miss home. I don't get to go back to the Kootenai valley very often anymore. you brought a piece of my home to me in NWA and I am so grateful I found you two, and even more for your appreciation of my communities back yard!
Montana camper here and I too love my Jackery power banks. I use a 240 and a 300 for keeping my cell phone going when I'm taking so many pictures out and about. Also use it for a few strands of led lights to add to my canopy.
I just love chilling out with your videos. I've been dealing with some anxiety in the mornings over the past year, and watching your all's videos helps me relax. Thank you for such a fun and relaxing channel!
Kootenai National Forest! You were in my neck o the woods! The smoke has become fairly regular every August. Its 2023 now and about 2 weeks ago, we had 260 for our air quality index. That is in the Dangerous levels. Then it rained. Now it's good again. Loved this video!
I really enjoy your videos. You guys are truly blessed to be able to live life the way you do. And showing us all the beautiful sights that we will probably not to get to visit, which is the next best thing. I would love to do what you do. I love your cooking, and would love your recipes. That's the Life! stay safe with all these viruses going around when you visit place to place. Actually you are the safest. Thanks for all you do.
So beautiful. Meals look amazing. Cody...love your music choices. As a music major it adds So much to the beauty of your photography. Anxious for our next adventure!!
Kelly, I found a pizza stone, on Amazon, that is made for a toaster oven, that I place on the bottom of the camp stove and it has helped with the direct heat during baking! Makes all the difference with the camp stove!!!!!
Loved, loved the theatrical music towards the end that sounded like scenes from 'The Last of The Mohicans' or 'Dances with Wolves'! VERY COOL! I love Montana! That drone is certainly paying for itself! The arial footage is so beautiful!! Y'all are SO brave as I would NEVER even consider camping outside where grizzlies are present. I've heard too many horror stories of even campers being dragged out of their tents by black bears in northern Arizona!! Yikes! It's a very good thing you all are now in a camper! Loved the video!
I love taco casserole i also put salsa and sour cream in mine. I wanted some so bad one night and I didn't have tortillas and was feeling too lazy to make any I did have doritos so I used a whole bag and it was awesome!I love to see how other people do things I don't usually buy the broth like that I get the broth base or herbox which is delicious just to drink when you're sick.
It’s a good idea when hiking in montana for y’all both to carry a pack with emergency gear and bear spray handy! Weather can go scary sideways fast up there!
In Canada there is a hike (Crypt Lake in Waterton Provincial Park, Alberta) where if you walk around the lake at the top of the mountain, at the one end you walk through Montana.
Excellent vid as always. Boy that pasta dish you made at the end really looked good. As usual I gained weight watching. Thanks for the great presentation but for God sake be bear aware. Stay close together!!!! From a Midwest flatlander but spent much time out there.
Beautiful location and the drone captures of the mountains are great. The moths flying around in the truck shot almost looks like it is snowing. Happy Camping.
That was a gorgeous hike! Next summer, you’ll have to venture into Canada. Western Canada is AMAZING! Maybe even get all the way to Alaska, which would be epic.
such a simple thing to share -- a hike.. but so enjoyable!!! and of course i just love the food show as always -- always wishing i was there to enjoy the meal with you LOL !!
It is so good that you were able to find a place to camp. We have not been able to go camping in our favorite spot since they have close down the woods around here. I had to rewind to see what you were laughing at. Differently some beautiful places you went to.
You guys are great. Several years ago some friends and I camped in northern MN in the Boundary Waters. Most beautiful place I've ever seen. Planning on some kayak/camping this spring. Keep on doing what ur doing.
I love "off the beaten path" kinda places. That is why I really love you guys' channel. Ya''ll go out of the way and find these kind of places. If ya'll ever make it over to TN....check out their state natural areas.....pretty sweet. I am glad to know there are places like this all over. It just takes away from the experience when places are super crowded.
My fiancé and myself are new to the Camping scene and we love it!!! You guys have made it that much more fun. Just became a new follower on your Patreon page. Love what you do.
Guys, seems like everybody else I subscribe to went to heavy sponsor route this week. Really enjoyed your more laid back approach. I know you need that too, and when it comes use that vivid imagination of yours and weave it in. Much better. ⛺️👍🏼😎
Hey kids/guys/utubers. Doing a night in the Little Rock area sept 16-17. Have the dog and need a tent site and hike. I’ve seen your good spots on video but if you think of anything, shoot me a note! Cheers!
@32:28 Looks like a black currant berry bush. It's edible but without being there and seeing the leaves, stems and how the full bush looks it's best not to judge by a small view. Many look-a-likes in the plant world with minor differences. Just the underside of the leaf might be the only thing separating their appearance.
Place a wider piece of wood or aluminium at the back and screw it in it to fix your pannel and attach your wire (pr cable) with velcro to the ceilling in there to prevent it to caught again
This is beautiful! I hope to be able to go to Montana one day. I live in the UK so it's an expensive dream I also don't drive so would have to convince my sister to go with me...shouldn't be too hard now just have to save and make it happen
I feel ya! My wife and I had to leave our spot on Lake Union Reservoir 5 days early due to a number of fires in Northern California and horrible air quality (184). Super bummed, it was my birthday trip. Glad you still able to find places.
Loves the episode guys! Sucks about places being closed off unfortunately but it will get better. I heard they are getting a lot of those fires controlled in that area except that one in Glacier is still rolling. Granite Peak is the tallest mountain in Montana area and sits at 12,807 feet above sea level elevation no 14ers but definitely makes up in beauty plus all those Huckleberries and Thimbleberries were worth it, lol.
I really like your videos and it makes me want to check out some trails. Question, what do you use for protection from bears or wildlife in general? Have you ever come across any? That kind of makes me hesitate…. But love your show! Thank you!
Nice to see the elements together ( camping, hiking, cooking, hacks,). Your uniqueness is special, not common. A couple of years seasoning might be wise but I believe eventually Jonathan could nail it on his own channel.
Dude ya'll need a Solo Stove, they'd probably send you one to review, after having it, you will wonder how you lived without it! I think you could burn in a Solo Stove even if firehazard is high
Hi Kellie! The food looks delicious as usual 😀. Curious, I’ve heard you mention you prefer no handles on the baking dish before but I missed why. Is it to fit better in the oven?
Don't know about that trail map you are using, according to Alltrails, that Bluebird Lake is at 6853' and trail has 1100' elevation gain. Trailhead starts at 5700' on FR319. Just an FYI.
That’s correct if your only going to blue bird lake. You have to add in the hike from blue bird lake north to Wolverine lake to get the rest of that elevation. We then headed East to Clarence Ness trail. That will get you the full loop distance and elevation.
I was just researching the Jackary. $$$! Just curious, how did you two afford all of this to go full time? You are both young. I see so many young people out there with all of the bells and whistles. I’m trying to figure out how to do something similar, but a very, very downgraded version. Perhaps I just didn’t do life right to afford to do this.
We have been vlogging for 3 years. Sponsees reach out to us to send us there products for free. Once we use them and present them in our channel. We become affiliates with the company’s. Then we get a percentage of the sales from our page. It’s another form of income. Otherwise we would not be able to afford it either. We did acquire everything before we quit our jobs.
That weather looks so wonderful!! High 90s in TX, bleh. You're truly my camping ppl bc here iam watching your vlog with my own vegan feta pasta dish 🥖🍝
Y’all are in grizzly country! One of the most dangerous parts of the year. I would be strapped. Nuh uhh...If you think you can deploy that bear spray fast enough during a charge, not gonna happen. I’d be carrying a pistol on my side or chest. Good luck guys stay safe
