Yoga with Kassandra Namaste! Im visiting family in Arizona and this routine helped my back wake up and energize me. I’m sweating and feel so good now. My body and mind thank you!!
Where did you learn Yoga from? Did you learn it from an Indian instructor? (who are the purists afterall). Have you been to Rishikesh, Mysore etc to learn the pure/ real forms of Yoga?
@@gwenasearcy2463 same. I was smoking weed every day and eating so much, sitting inside and watching RU-vid all day. I quit weed a week ago and want to do these stretches before I surf and lose that f**kin weight haha
Keep doing it! 👍💪💪💪It feels Amazing to stretch your body, isn't it ! It does wonders for your mental health and your overall wellbeing. I also started yoga & meditation during quarantine and it's been transformational.🌈 I don't want to stop!😋 Even my flexibility has improved and I am able to do the exercises better & aligned with the breathing better by each time. 😍 I love this 10 minute video. This is my absolute favourite one. Thank you so much Kassandra. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Namaste. ❤❤❤
this was my first time doing yoga, not only my body feels lighter now, the sense of accomplishment from actually finishing this 10 minutes session feels great too. maybe I didnt get all the pose right, but I'm gonna keep doing this every morning until I'm ready for more complex poses and longer sessions. anyway, thank you for this. subscribe.
Have literally been doing this routine for four years! Started when I was 16 and still come back to it from time to time as a 20 year old. Crazy how time zips right by, and maybe it’s time for us to find some new routines 😅
The struggle is the best part ! Yoga is almost always very hard, the challenge is to stay centered despite feeling like youre about to break at the seams hahah
Today 1-st January and I did my first activity - yoga 🧘♀️. Want to change my life habits and style. Keeping my self in piece and loose that obese weight and get back to study. Thank you ☺️ and for every person who read this comment ☺️ you are deserved the best of you and you can do everything , stay smart and healthy ❤️❤️❤️
I discovered your channel a week before lockdown in 2020, when i lived at my grandma's house. An old man had told me he did 30 minutes of yoga everyday or else he became rusty. That man could literally do splits at 60. Anyway, i started doing yoga everyday morning for a year and half, and then, mid 2021, i moved to a smaller appartement and i couldn't get back into a routine. But I knew one day I would eventually pick it up where I left it, because I knew your channel was a treasure box. You are a non-judgemental, calm and soothing practitioner and I even got my sister to start yoga on a daily basis with your channel. We love you. This morning is the first time i picked up my mat and sat down for practice in 2 years. Thank you for still being here. Thank you for everything. ✨🙏 Namaste !
i wasn’t convinced on yoga till i watched this and she had us sit in the same position that we started in and i actually could feel a difference. i’m a believer now.
It’s been 4 years and I still come back to this video that real says something! I just feel so great after this video could never get old 💕🫶🏾 thank you kassandra sending love and light to you all💫🌸💕🦋
I’ve had multiple anxiety disorders since I was little. I never really got the help for it. I always heard from my therapist that yoga helped with anxiety. Then life got in the way and I never took the time for myself. Since this whole quarantine I decided to take my life back. I started exercising to lose the weight I’ve always hated. I started doing yoga, in hopes it might help me. And it has. Terrifically. I’m really thankful for this video❤️ you’ve helped me get my life back❤️❤️❤️
So glad you're doing better and want to do better for yourself, my story is similar sadly, yoga has helped me through so much especially the hard times. Stay safe love!
"In Classical Sanskrit, the word yogi (Sanskrit: masc yogī, योगी; fem yoginī) is derived from yogin, which refers to a practitioner of yoga." :))) i love hat those terms are still being used today
I love how positive this comment section is! Been trying to do this everyday and it has honestly helped so much. I’ve been lacking body confidence recently and been trying to work out loads however the yoga just makes me feel at peace with myself.
I'm here again, trying to become healthier, fitter and trying to take care of myself more. Wish me luck and perseverance! Thank you for this gem of a video, just love it!
This is my favourite morning routine now :) It's short and effective and I don't have to be fully awake yet because it is all on the floor and I don't have to balance in some standing poses. Thanks a lot!
Ive been doing this practice and the 10 min morning yoga video nearly everyday for two months now. I have fibromialgia and had a knee surgery some years ago, which really limits what exercise i can do that won't lead to a flare, but these videos have helped with the soreness in my body and helped me build strength, which is amazing. I've slowly started to increase the amount of time I exercise and mixed yoga videos with exercise and it's so great. It's also helping me be productive in the morning
Try drinking bone broth daily to aid with your inflammation. As some people aren't keen on the taste of bone broth try using it to cook rice with using the absorption method. Sneaky way to get bone broth into kids 👍
@@Ytnzy250 oooh, that sounds like really good advice, thank you! Wondering if you know a vegetarian option? I've been a vegetarian for a long time so whenever I eat anything with meat or fish now it gets me pretty sick, ahah. If not, then I guess I'll just have to try get used to it,lol
@@papernaut4273 No alternatives unfortunately, try it & see how you feel. Could try a collagen (grass fed) supplement. Try both & see which one cures your inflammation best.
This was my first experience with Yoga. I’ve recently changed paths in life, meditation and exercise, philosophy etc. I’ve always wanted to try this but I’ve been to embarrassed. Tried it for the first time this morning... absolutely amazing, thank you
You’ve probably got lots of comments like this already, but I want to tell you how much I appreciate your “free yoga” philosophy. The irony is, if I pay for a yoga app, I’m less likely to use it than a free source. When something’s free, you know someone’s doing something because they love it, not because they get paid to do it (even though you ultimately do because lots of people agree you’re amazing) and that never sat well with me. With “free-ness”, I get a community vibe versus the solitary feeling I get from paid sources. I found your channel through a Top 10 list online and something drew me directly to your page and I’m so glad to have found you. This was the first video I saw and loved it immediately for your voice, your gentle guidance to lengthen, breathe, press down, etc and the non-typical poses that I just love! I don’t know if you’ll read this comment, but if you do, please know that I appreciate you!! I even feel like you’re my friend, crazy as that sounds.
@@so7780 i think it’s just that he loves the authenticity of it. the fact that he KNOWS she’s not doing it for a paycheck. it’s not that people who get paid don’t love it, it’s just that this person feels a sense of security knowing that fact.
My phone only captured Kassandra's voice. I've practiced this particular video lots of times so I knew by habit what would be next. However, today only her voice sounded. There was no video. Kassandra's voice is so soothing and her directions are so clear that I just followed along with her voice only. Great stretch. Thanks again for helping my thoughts and intentions for the day. ❤
This is one of my absolute favorite, go-to, quick flexibility classes. I feel so grounded and energized afterwards. Thanks for all you do, Kassandra! Blessed be ✨🙏✨
I have no idea how many times I have done this particular practice but I’m very thankful for it. I travel quite a bit for work and it is my favourite when I’m on the road! Thank you Kassandra
I have never done yoga all my life. I saw a lot of people's morning routine involved yoga so I decided to do so. The first few minutes I was like this feels like exercising but after that my body feels all stretched out and relaxed. Thank you dear!
Been feeling super down and depressed, with a mix of really bad anxiety. I’ve been in a really bad spot lately using drugs and being angry all the time. This week my goal is to become better and try to be more motivated and happier with my days in this life. I will do this every morning. Thankyou💜
As always this is something I look forward to everyday. It gives me a reason to get up, get me through the day & come the end of the day, it gives me something to look forward to again, & knowing that come the morning again have something to look forward to to keep me focused, for that I thank you @Kassandra 🙏
I am absolutely*in love* with this particular quick stretch 🤩🤩 I hope everybody here has a magnificent, significant, wonderful day bursting with love and gratitude 🥰❣️😌
I cried during child pose - did a quick search and the hips store a lot of emotions. Thank you, I needed that release - this was a good start to my morning :)
@@realmrpoopybutthole7587 because emotions are in fact stored in your tissues and other parts of your body so when you stretch or get massages all past traumas and emotions are released which can cause people to cry.
I love how brisk your videos are! Any unnecessary talking, no sitting at the beginning of the practice for a few minutes... You just dive into the practice! Keep it up! Namaste from the Czech Republic.
This felt amazing! I woke up feeling hesitant to stretch since I haven’t been too motivated lately but just doing 10 mins seemed totally do-able ! So happy I did and left me with a sense of accomplishment
This was actually really beneficial. Your video reminded me of my first time in yoga during recovery of mental illness. Your voice is soft toned, easy to follow by listening and achievable. Felt my emotions run through me and exit my body ready for my day. Thank you and God Bless
I'm a doctoral student stuck studying all day, everyday. I had so many aches and pains from tight muscles, this video is GREAT.. really made such a difference and helped alleviate a lot of body stress. thank you!!
This video is 10 minutes long, but it felt way less when I actually did it! Thanks for this amazing video, it really made me feel better about myself :)
I was so worried about my health, feeling consistent pain in my lower back every fu**ing day for years now. But after practicing this morning with you, I felt immediate relief in my lower back, I feel energized and powerful again. Thank you so much 🙏🏿
So creative! I was struggling to enjoy yoga in the beginning but by finding this video, I realised what it’s like when it feels good! Even after a couple of years, I keep coming back to this to remind myself and just enjoy as it’s such an effective sequence of poses! Thank you Kassandra!
This 10min yoga is helping me to start my day in a much better way, with energy and positivity. I'm waking up earlier only to do the stretches. Thank you. 🙏 Gratitude
My first time doing yoga, after saying for the last 2 years I wanted to do it, may only be 10 minutes but I felt more empowered in my mind soul an body! Feels incredible!
I love doing yoga to this video!!! Its been months since i started doing yoga, and its so nice to see all the parts i wasnt able to do fully in the beginning that i can do now with ease!💗 thank you for this!!!
Thank you so much! Lock down has meant I’m not moving as much. I woke up this morning and just felt my body telling me it needed a stretch- this was perfect!!
As someone with doesn’t have really good balance or great flexibility, this was a challenge! But you better believe I pushed through! I feel really good now!!! Thank you!!
i know its been 5 years since you posted this but I have to say this really saves my life on a daily basis! wow my body is so much better each time thank you so so so much!!! love you
I've been practicing yoga for 20 yrs & I now generally do a solo practice - this was one of the best morning yoga videos I've come across. I feel so good this morn - thank you & I'm now a subscriber. :)
Mary Hoffman do you think it’s better to do this before or after a HIIT work out? Because I’m new to doing HIIT workouts and I never know what’s better to stretch before or after.
Amber, I think stretching after HIIT is better because your muscles are warmed up and less likely to be injured by stretching. Also yoga/stretching will bring down cortisol which spikes during intense exercise.
I do this exercise whenever i feel like not exercising for the last 3 years and it does wonders everytime. Makes me feel relaxed and accomplished.❤ Thank you mam.❤
Trying yoga to make the mornings easier, and this made me feel fantastic. I'm a beginner so it got me a little trembly at some bits but I really enjoyed it!
Dear kassandra Thank you so much for your kind service I really appreciate you and your class and im a bit in love but not romantic way;) Keep on being you and thanks
