Sally Kneath, a pharmacist at Swansea Drugs Project, demonstrates their naloxone training on independent trainer and consultant Danny Morris.
She shows how quick and easy it can be to opportunistically train people attending the needle exchange in when and how to administer naloxone to reverse opiate overdose.
The video is intended as a practice example for services designing, planning, developing, and delivering naloxone distribution .

hi, have you tried making an appointment with your gp and asking him/her to prescribe it to you?

I am a methadone and getting naloxone from my services has proved futile. Even though naloxone is pretty much as far away from being a drug of abuse as you can get, they still are reluctant to prescribe it to me. In my opinion they really should supply it to anyone on a methadone script, no questions asked but until this happens people will end up having to rely on others to call an ambulance.
