Any comedy snobs who believe this is cheap toilet humour, hasn't worked very hard at thier craft. The sheer physical effort, the timing,Ade and Rik were masters of thier trade. I can't imagine we will ever be blessed with thier like again. ❤️🇬🇧
Remember crying with laughter continuously for about an hour when he kept shitting himself from the electric cattle prod. Oh to be 9 and see this for the first time again.
Yea I miss him I remember years ago being worried after his quad accident then when he passed I genuinely filled up. Legend From the young ones , bottom , the comic strip presents, & man down and so on he was brilliant.
Only Britain could produce a comedy this good and crazy. The Americans have their moments but when it comes to comedy they’ve got nothing on the Brits.
Rik and Adrian together are the only comics who could make the most childish, puerile jokes truly, genuinely hilarious. I'm happy to say I was able to introduce a much younger generation to the genius insanity of these lovable losers. R.I.P. Rik Mayall.
I agree 👍 twenty years ago I introduced my eldest daughter to them after stopping watching them for a number of years. And she adored the two boys bad language and the funny side of petty v I'm so glad she watched this great personality and everyone loves her 😅
Every 12 year old needs to go through their Rik & Ade phase. Young Ones, Bottom, Dangerous Brothers. Absolutely classic slapstick and violently rude comedy.
"Don't you dare call me overweight, young man", there are so many lines in this series that are pure brilliance but that scene for me has me in stitches every single time 😂
The moment Richie yanks the condom machine off the wall and clonks Inspector Grobbelarr with it is a vastly underrated comedy moment. I was in tears of laughter when I first saw that.
@@Underworld-Gamer Eddie points at Grobbelarr’s face to warn Richie who it is but Richie takes it as an instruction and starts biffing him in the face.
Bottom the perfect series to cheer someone up if they have had a bad week. Yea these two fellows don’t ever have a good week. But at least their misfortune cheers people up, even if the misfortune hurts both Eddie and Richie.
I remember letting my 9 year old son watch it at the time and wondered if I was being a responsible parent. Now he's grown up and says it's still the funniest thing he's ever seen and I did a good job.
RU-vid, where everyone has left a comment on a video saying. There’s 10 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. Then there’s gems like this. 10 minutes gladly given up. Even though my stomachs hurting. Comedy genius. Pheeeeb!
1:15 This scene has always made me wonder.. If the ferris wheel was supposed to be 350 feet tall.. How the hell did someone throw a bottle up there? XD
@@buzzytrombone4353 Channel 4 is just Marxist lite. BBC2 used to be the place for great comedy from David Attenborough, he commissioned Monty Python, Brian Wenham, Not the Nine o’clock News onwards but where is the comedy on BBC2 now? AWOL.
always will be my all time favourite show a massive part of my childhood and it's a shame Rik died while they were talking about a 4th season it would've been interesting to see Richie and Eddie go through their own arcs and maybe Richie would've finally lost his virginity in a way that we would've been cheering for him, and Eddie building a side business that does well to keep them stable
Genius! I still remember watching these episodes as a teenager, couldn't believe they allowed it on TV. Still can quote the script! The fight during the chess game was fantastic.
