He's so creative. He's got the playmaking of Jason Williams, The versatility of Penny Hardaway and the range of Steph Curry. The only thing he needs to work on is efficiency and defense. He's got a bright career ahead of him.
@@teixeira2893 yea i can understand that but hes been famous since he stepped foot out the hospital so ofc theyre going to hype him up its like jalen and cade jalen has more fame but cade is better but theyre still gonna go with jalen thats how it is in the leauge man.
The reason he's so creative is because he wasn't subjected to the dogma of college basketball routine he was pulled out of high school to go play internationally and got to develop his own style so unorthodox. Man this kid might be the goat
my new favorite player, he is everything a player should be and with so much creativity and confidence in shooting ability, he's gonna go really far in the league, he's got a legendary career in the making
Reminds me of a Pistol Pete. There's a lot of great young talent but if you watch the all-star games there are hardly any showmen left and we hardly have any real PGs that really know how to be a floor general and take over when needed by making plays for others instead of scoring. For example, Melo has helped Miles Bridges turn into an all-star caliber player and makes easy plays for the other Charlotte stars by knowing when to pass and when to shoot. Melo is bringing the game back! #PointGod
I watched every video i could find of his from his Chinio Hill High School days, incredibly impressed with his game then. The team must've gone out of their ever-lovin' minds when they found out his father was taking him out of school to have him play overseas. Playing pro over there only had to improve his game because his game, as good as it already was, shot up to a whole other level! Plus, the height he added was a terrific added bonus! I remember saying in those videos when he was playing for Chino Hills that he couldn't dunk. Well he sure can now! He has unlimited range like Steph Curry (He showed that when he was a freshman at Chino Hills.), he can pass like Pete Maravich (Yes, I think "White Chocolate" is a great passer, don't get me wrong but he's been said enough already.) and has confidence like Larry Bird. I thought for sure he'd be the first pick in the draft last season and thought that it was an ABSOLUTE travesty that he wasn't!!! He proved why he should have been picked number one last year by winning the rookie of the year award. In his second season he makes the All-Star team. Yes, it was as a last minute replacement for Kevin Durant but he still got picked when it could have been another player. In just two seasons he's already making "Best Of" lists too. He already plays like he's been in the league for years. Imagine when he has ;played for years? Suffice to say, this kid's phenomenal!
his ability to cuff the ball gives that extra half a second to help him decide how he is gunna ruin his defenders night. Such a great player! Appreciate yet ANOTHER fire video!
some of his finishes around the basket remind me of what Jordan used to do. Just casually jellying in the middle of traffic like the defense not ever there lol I said since I saw him as a freshman in high school this kid is a prodigy.
I’ve been a big fan since since 2015 of melo freshman year at chino hills he has improved so much he has so much great potential to be in the all star game multiple years in a row and hopefully to win a nba championship sky’s the limit 👿❤️🔥6️⃣
I don't watch a lot of NBA games as i live in Europe and most of the games are on past midnight some 4am but from the highlights i've seen of this kid he looks so fun to watch and he's still so young. One to watch for sure he already looks ready for stardom just gotta keep doing what he's doing. His playstyle will attract good teammates too which is a bonus.
Lamelo B. Free bests describes His Style of Play💪🏾💪🏾The Kid is Out There Having Fun he’s Happy and a Player or two away from getting to the finals 💯💯P.S🤫🤫🤫Nobody wants to run into this team in the playoffs
The only problem is that he’s TOO fearless, to the point where he may end up getting seriously hampered by injuries. I see a lot more of Allen Iverson than Jordan or Magic in Ball’s approach.
There is no way Lavar Ball is right saying that Gelo is the best player out of all three of his sons. Melo is down right SPECIALLY gifted to play this game.
