hey don't get so down yet, I've also had problems with funding but I was able to show what I was capable of and being from a family of non wealth they worked hard so they can afford me a kart. Work hard brow you can run, do push ups, swim anything to get you in the best physical shape trust me not a lot of drivers are made from wealth, you just need to prove what your worth.
