@@andrewjmes I cracked Sam Kolder's Color Grading it's all in the GREEN PART of the channel mixer! Just take the green level in the green channel down to zero and set blue level to 100. Adjust the opacity of this node accordingly

the ten tips are: 1. Don't use high-intensity LUTs that were designed for flat picture profiles on footage that wasn't shot in a flat picture profile. 2. Use SFX to add depth and realism to your shot. 3. Don't overuse bird sound effects. 4. Don't overuse preset transitions on every single cut. 5. Don't export your footage more than once: it decreases quality exponentially. 6. Choose songs that actually fit your footage (for example don't use a hype EDM song for a golf course promo). 7. Look up and use the keyboard shortcuts in your editing software. 8. Use the preview window for your rough cut. 9. Make sure your sky replacements match the original footage. 10. Don't try to fix everything in post. Top notch editing can't always save garbage footage.

I dont understand the "not exporting it more than once"... why would it decrease the quality? Sometimes after you export it you see the errors and fix it why would reexporting it decrease the quality if all the settings.are the same? Editing in PP in case thats important

That exporting tip, you should have said don't export h264 more than once, I you do round trip editing to grading you can export more than once without losing to much quality

You deserve a lot more supporters. I think that the “problem” (why you only have 100k subs) Is that your content is not “interesting” or something non-editors might find boring. So, if you want to grow, you can react to some gaming (a very popular “market”) stuff(react to the editing).

Imagine you have a super high quality raw file that you've edited. Now to export it to a reasonable file size (and smoothly playable format) you need to take all the detail on screen and somehow compress it (make it a little less complex) so the resulting file size is smaller (less detail/pixels = smaller file size). Now if you import this compressed format again and export it you have to compress what's already been compressed. That's the reason why you want to have as little exports as possible in between your original files and final files.

TBF, I think he was referring to the stock transitions that come with Premiere and AF. The transitions JR uses is a separate set of advanced presets that cost around $50.

I can export a thousand times the same video from my timeline without quality loss. It,s called the digital age. It,s not anslog. I don,t really understand what you were tryong to say with that cause it is not true.

Stephane Gregory Dan ok bro I digged through the comments and he meant “when you export don’t bring back the exported file and edit from there” which makes sense. But editing back from the original timeline wont affect it

@@joshelias8472 Ah well.. like this it makes sense of course. But it also depends how you export and edit. There are export setting where there is no quality loss at all and it's the same as the original. Only downside of it is that the exported file weighs tons of Gigas. But usualy you should never edit from an exported file but always from the edit itself. YOu normaly have to keep an edit at least a year or 6 months at elast. After that you can delete it. The footage you store it. But sometimes I even delete it too.

Hey guys I need your help. I have a PC that I use mostly for editing (adobe premiere pro) It has 18 gb Ram which is the only good feature on the PC. Rather than buying a brand new PC I was wondering if I could just purchase better parts and get them installed in my PC? Also what parts video editing programs require the most? Long story short I need better parts and definitely graphics card it’s garbage. on my PC and a detailed description of parts I can and can’t install would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Because a few months ago some kids came up to me and started bullying me. Damn man that sucks... Dont let those dick heads get to you and stop you from living the life you want to live. In a few years, what youre going through right now will be the past and those apes will be flipping burgers for you. Life gets better, kids are just assholes and usually its for their own personal reasons, not you. Find a way to get our there and do what you love and try not to live in fear of those guys. Otherwise they win.

And remember, those who bully you have their own insecurities and difficulties. They are just not man enough to grab themselves by the balls to face their own problems and challenges. They think it is way easier to “put” you down than to work on themselves. Just grab a camera man, start making videos, think about what fuels your passion and keep your end goal in mind. Rather make mistakes than to not making any mistakes! Thats called learning, ask yourself how you could do better but after you answered what went well and even great!
