@@shockadellick I don’t think that’s what he meant chief. I think he meant other Shepard crosses and dogs with a background in KNPV. As a pitbull owner myself those dogs do not excel like these do in that sport. Real pit bulls are not bred to bite human beings.
@@wordnerdink actually he is correct but you are also correct. The Dutch have an open stud book for the working Dutch and Malinois. They will integrate working line German Shepherd, but also Mastiff, American Pitbull Terrier, Great Dane, even border collie, and then breed back. The end result will look like a Dutch Shepherd or Malinois but they are larger figureheads. Strictly purebred Dutch Shepherds or Mal's are very fine bone dogs extremely narrow conical heads like a Rough collie. In the Working world, they don't care they will integrate other genetics this is why the breeds are so incredibly and larger. Getting a Dutch Shepherd and Mal over 60 65 lb is impossible unless they out cross. So yes, all that Shepherds and Mal from working lines have some working German Shepherd in them and sometimes even apbt and the other breeds I mentioned. They can even get FCI recognition if need be paperhanging is common and then AKC so you'll see a lot of people in the state's insisting they have a purebred huge Dutchie or Mal but they are really the result of selectively outcrossing
My boy Titan just turned one. Malinois/GSD (I’m told). 80lbs and 27” at the shoulder. He’s a bit protective in public, working on that. But such a good boy. Also have a DDR/Czech GSD female. She’s awesome but insane. Lol

I have a gorgeous brindle Mal/GSD! She's 12 weeks old, super smart, eager to please, loves our training sessions, but very stubborn when she don't want to do something or does want to do something I don't want her to do 🤣 Biggest issue I have with her right now, is the face snapping with no warning. We are working on it, she's gotten a little better but she still does it. She's wild, she's crazy, she's hyper and nothing is safe from those snapping jaws, but I'm totally in love with her personality.
With pleasure. I got him from ex police K9 instructor, now part time breeder Jerry Ross. Ross Haus K9. These dogs make horrible pets and must be trained by people who work with Police/Military or competition protection dog sports. Otherwise the dog will be put down or sold by their owners. They're very protective(some people call it aggressive), high prey drive, high bite drive. And are best suited for families who are in need of personal protection or a competition sport dogs. Otherwise they are only suited for Police and Military work.
I'm not a breeder. I got this puppy from my friend. Ex Police officer, currently a breeder for Portland Police. I think he has a litter coming up. In June or August. Puppies would be sister and brothers to my dog Kris.
Thank you for being honest. I can't stand how a lot of people say oh I have a purebred Dutch Shepherd or purebred Malinois that is 80 + pounds even a hundred pounds I've seen with much larger heads and yes they come from Dutch or Eastern European lines that out cross to working German Shepherd and even other breeds to get more size and bigger head types. A strictly purebred Dutchie or mal with zero outcrossing unfortunately does not look nearly as impressive and does not have the size to easily take down a man. This is why they donit veeeery well. These dogs can even get papers paper hanging happens all the time they can get FCI recognition and eventually AKC. Most of the working Malinois and Dutch Shepherds are mixes
Yes, mixing and selective breeding is how most of the working Dutchies and Mals were created in the late 70's and 90' Now it's just continuation. But GSD and even other breeds still gets thrown in every now and then. And yes, you will not see it on papers. On paper it would say a Pure Mal
