I just received the Rocket Razor and the Balisong yesterday in the mail and couldn't be more pleased with the quality of these two knives. I absolutely love these things.
I just bought the Milspin magnus and I can’t put it down, nothing about it feels gimmicky, it feels solid and doesn’t look dated, very timeless looking, I can’t wait to see the patina that will happen to the brass over time
They all look pretty interesting but I’d have to pick the otf out of all of them. Looks the easiest to edc. Pop out pocket deploy cut something pop back in and back in the pocket
WorkPro Utility Knife : All stainless steel . Also Red , Blue , and Green colors . Push button opened / closed . Deep pocket clip . Reasonably priced 3 / $20.00 Amazon . Quality , but Chinese made .
The otf is clearly the coolest one, but I think the best one for me would be the gerber. It looks more resistent, and the blade can be removed and installed without any tool so I can remove the blade, travel on plane, and buy another blade when I arrive
There's a fair number of flipper utility knives out on the market now. Some you've done already and there's a new one from Civivi (elementum) and OKnife (otacle u1).
I am conflicted on choosing between the flipout and the titanium balisong knife. Ive owned a balisong knife before and it's fun to own one so im going for the balisong
I recently bought the rocket razor and unfortunately it already broke after dropping it once on carpet. I tried to take it apart to see if I could fix it and the threads on the screws stripped very easily. Was hoping it would last longer as you don't see otf box cutters very often. I really did enjoy it for the time it was functional though.
So sorry to hear this. Did you happen to reach out to us already? It's hard to tell, because you are commenting under a RU-vid username. I'd be happy to help you out. We did have a few copies with a bad heat-treat on the initial production, on the slide mechanism portion. The issue has been resolved with our factory, and we also have some spare replacement slides and body screws on their way. They should be in stock in about 7-10 days, here in Connecticut. T6 torx screws can be easy to strip, sometimes... especially if your bit is not in perfect condition. Other times with screws in aluminum alloy, even the general temperature can make them tighter and easier to strip. If you can't even get your knife open, we will still be able to take care of you. If you have not already, please contact us directly if you want to arrange for an exchange, store credit, or replacement.
I use the gerber prybrid for chopping down boxes, if I forget my main folder. The arena balisong is one I wanna try out one day mainly cause of its fidget factor too😅. Thanks again US for another awesome video.
Haha huge fan of the prybrid as well gerber really impressed me with that one. Haha yeah the balisong would be cool too defintely need to work on my balisong skills.
Requiring a tool to remove the blade is a big NO for me on a utility knife. I need to be able to swap blades easily and quickly or it is pocket candy and not for "utility". Beyond that, I don't think adding a bottle opener is enough to make something a multi-tool. Some of those looked really cool and I hope they continue to innovate, but for me, the Gerber is the one I'd be most likely to carry.

The utility knife that i own has the same system of the Stinger Mad Bomb EDC. Now i know it was not a good choice, even when cutting tape it gets loose and you have to screw it all again. Seems like you cant go wrong with the Gerber.
