On the one hand, that's true. On the other hand, it demonstrates his complete lack of empathy for others or respect for their boundaries. Because *he* is willing to go out there and humiliate himself for the show, he expects everyone else to have the same total lack of boundaries as himself, and doesn't care, or it doesn't even register with him, if they feel otherwise.
So he says and that may be but he's twisted and perverted and really gets off on humiliating people. So I'm sure there are a lot of things he WOULD do that the rest of us find repulsive. It was all this stuff that made me quit watching it for about 12 years.
Another moment was Vickie Guerreo having to stand there as Stephanie "puked" on her after Roman messed with her coffee. Obviously wasnt real puke but still pretty disgusting

Bro, i don't love wrestling nearly as much as i used to do. I mean i still enjoy it. But my interest diminished greatly over the years. However, i still got a lot of respect for pro wrestlers and the things they do. That's something that'll never change. With all that said, as i get older, i am disturbed by how toxic and disgusting the wrestling business is. At one point, i myself wanted to be a wrestler. I'm glad i grew out of my wrestling fantasy land, with the bullying/hazing backstage, crazy traveling schedule, and stories i hear of being homeless and damn near broke before even making it. I'm glad i didn't chase that lifestyle. It sounds like hell. If anything, i learned that wrestling is a hell of lot more fun on the outside than the inside.
Surprised you didn’t mention the Raw after NYR 06 where Edge and Lita did some “Bed-time wrestling” in the ring after he cashed in MITB on Cena at NYR. Reportedly, neither Lita, Edge, or Cena were comfortable doing the infamous segment.

The Hog Pen match was even harder on Triple H (Hunter Hearst Helmsley at the time) because his character at the time was a rich, proper, stuffy socialite coming from a wealthy family, born with a siver spoon in his mouth.
The most disgusting thing about the Corbin Reigns feud was how much promo time they gave Corbin. God he is bland and awful. I have kept watching to see if any of his subsequent character changes have been better but all have pretty much been just the same dull, slow paced borefest, except his run as US champ which had some entertaining matches.
Technically Shawn Michaels was the WWE champion at the time so they couldn't have him compete in that match and Scott Hall and Kevin Nash had left WWE so they couldn't punish them so since triple H wasn't that great yet so it made sense to only punish him
