Yes they underestimated the popularity of the drama series legend of Fie success, it is the most favorite and watched internationally by foreign and domestic fans😍👌💚,..... doubting people considered it not good and rated it low.... But Legend of Fie is so love worldwide, the popularity is similar to the Twilight saga movies, old and younger generations loved it, and it was considered by nay sayers not so great but they're wrong,.... because of the popularity of the lead characters the author decided to release the New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Saga. The author became the instant millionaire overnight after the first movie Twilight. Love Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying chemistry and hopefully they'll collaborate again soon in costume drama series.

I totally agree with you. I just started watching Chinese Dramas and the ones I have watched have been really entertaining. I just finished watching the Legend of Fei. I also agree that Wang Yibo did an outstanding job with role. I was impressed that his character had so much depth and for me he was able to convey a range of emotions through the script, his body language, his facial expressions and eyes. Not many actors are able to do that in such great detail. Yibo made his character come alive, from his playfulness to his angst. I laughed, I cried and everything in between. I also thought the other actors did a great job as well, which made the entire production come to life for me that I couldn't help but to binge watch it too. It's really too bad that China does not recognize just how talented this young man is at his age. I'm a little disappointed about some of the criticisms because these actors are just playing a role, it doesn't reflect who they really are as people.

@Anant radhe I felt like beating them, out of all yibo’s movies, he has the best chemistry with zhao liying, he was so happy while shooting even during their happy camp and ddu. I was so mad when they did that because I feel it affected yibo emotionally and he might not be like that again 😪.

Legend of fei was watched in illegal platforms by many people because they could not access wetv and the picture quality was bad and on RU-vid, they only posted 2 episodes and didn’t post more, it has so much views on illegal platforms

Yeah they don't do much marketing for legend of fei because of pandemic. There is also an issue/ fan war on both sides.

I really love Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying I don't why they don't like Wang Yibo. I can really see the chemistry especially from Wang Yibo, I can see that he likes Zhao Liying. Anyway, I am hopeful that they can still have a project together in the near future.

@@loubnaar3643 Very rare to find such a great combination of production values, excellent actors (of all ages), and great writing as those too... ( I assume you mean the netflix "phoenix" drama which I loved as well). IMO those two dramas were outstanding from beginning to end). Not in same category, if you like good character driven historicals, in a more up to date but not modern, try "Like a Flowing River" part one. Part two was good too. Also "Mining Town"; same genre.

Well said I couldn't help but to binge watch it! I laughed, I cried and everything in between! I was very impressed with the actors!

The costume and makeup for the bad guys in the beginning had me rolling on the floor laughing.

TU had a very low budget ($30,000,000) but it became one of the highest-earning dramas of 2019. A good budget could have pushed this drama to a 10/10 easily. Anyway TU is a masterpiece for me. I just turned a blind eye to some of the mistakes ❤

@@1aliciam The untamed had a budget of 150 M $ stop lying. Although that is not very much too. The one which had an extremely low budget of 30 M $ was Word of Honor. Now that was impressive.

I gave up on american films and series because I 'm fed up with them. Chinese ones are more interesting, beautiful and romantic. Love them! Try watching the untamed, ashes of love, Duolou continent, love and redemption, the journey of flower and lastly the demi gods and semi devil's 2019 version only then will u realize u've been missing a lot

I’m not looking for real life relationship,the one in the movie and bts is ok for me, I have no interest in asking actors to date each other just because of a movie.

I liked Legend of Fei but I thought the actress was too old for the role. She’s 35 playing a 15 year old. It was hard to picture her as a teen.

Nah they were CHEAP. They tried to save money by copying Japanese architecture instead of building new things. In china this drama is hated by a lot of people because they bragged about being historically accurate when in reality they were appropriating Japanese culture.

@@Tapfer13 please speak for yourself, I'm not saying it's not good but it's not exceptional to me, only Lan Zhan's character was memorable to me,his charisma and his costume was but I couldn't get into the plot till I read the novel and even then I had already watched other boy love movies I love
