I love the Sly series. Wish Sony would give it one more chance. The last one, which wasn’t developed by Sucker Punch, was also awesome in my opinion. And Stealth games continue to be the rage.
I love that Ratchet and Clank gets more and more attention now with Rift apart. Can't wait til I get a PS5 to be able to play it. Fun fact: The pyrocitor does more damage than R.Y.N.O while fighting Drek on the first Ratchet and Clank game since normaly enemies get knocked back while attacking with the pyrocitor, but since Drek does not have a stagger animation or knock back animation the Pyrocitor does full damage all the time if you're upclose. Speedrunners use that tactic.
I couldn't wait until 2022 to get a ps5. I brought a PS5 online for double the price just to play rift apart once it comes out. It will be my very first PS5 exclusive that I paid for.The only other PS5 exclusive that I played was Astro's Playroom and that game is free for everyone who has a PS5 but that game really got me more excited for Rift Apart because it really shows how much better the Dualshock 5 controller is compared to the Dualshock 5 controller. The controller might look the same as the PS4 controller, but the Dualshock 5 really is better than the old one. I think it's one of the reasons why the game is not coming to the PS4. The reason why the Dualshock 5 is the best controller in Playstation history is hard to explain. Its something that you have to experience to understand. Because of co-vid, you probably won't be able to get a PS5 until 2022 because that is when Sony plans to change the chips. The reason why Sony and Microsoft has trouble making the PS5 and Xbox series X is because of these chips are being made at a lower rate because of Co-vid. Out of the 4 new console, The series S is the only one you can buy in stores and online and the series S is not as powerful as the Series X. Unless this co-vid pandemic ends or you buy it from bots as I did, you most likey won't be able to play Rift apart until sometime in the next year.
You're correct that pyro is better, but you got some things wrong. This only works on the PAL PS3 version. This is because they had to upscale the game from 50 hertz to 60 hertz, and it causes the pyro to damage drek on every frame. It has nothing to do with drek's animations.
As a kid, the boss fights in the original trilogy were so hard! But definitely rewarding once you beat them and replay the game 1000x with the rhyno after. Revisited the trilogy a while back with the HD remaster on the PS3 and the fights weren’t as hard now but still the best.
My favorite Ratchet & Clank bosses would have to be: 1. Courtney Gears 2. Chainblade 3. B2 Brawler 4. Arachnoid 5. Dr. Nefarious (Up Your Aresenal) 6. Dr. Nefarious (A Crack In Time) 7. Gleeman Vox 8. Swamp Monster 2 9. Gary and Helen 10. Giant Klunk
Both the boss fights against Alister Azumith from "a crack in time" and the Dr. Nefarious from "up your arsenal" were definitely the best ones, there even a time when the Bio-Bliterator was at low health I finished it off by sniping it, even the final fight against Lord Vorsalon was a good one that I even finished him off with a Groovatron, Time Bomb, and Plasma Striker and then I took a picture of Vorsalon as a flopping head which was funny too. 😎✌
Ratchet and clank and god of war got me through my high school years and I’ve been playing both franchises ever since. they are the two most successful franchises in PlayStation history if you ask me.
I really Love Secret Agent Clank. I dont really understand the people who are saying that its Bad. Of course its PSP but i had much of fun with this Game. And i absolutely Love the klunk Boss Battle. I mean u Fight 4 enemys at the Same time, klunk, kinpin, Dr Nefarious and Robo ratchet. And yes, the Battle against Dr nefarious in RAC3 is my favorite. Very excited for a Dr nefarious Battle in RACRA. Too sad that the original voice actor in our country died in 2017😔...
Honestly, I despise secret agent clank myself. The gameplay, controls, and story is all garbage. I mean is there even a story? I doubt it. But overall, I can respect your opinion. After all even though I really don't like SAC, I'm not going to disrespect your opinion.
@@Qwarkis The Snivelak boss wasn't that hard since you can just gun him down with turrets. It is time consuming though. The level itself however is pretty difficult with thug mercenaries, tanks, and flying gunships.
Kind of wish the Momma Tyhrranoid was on this list. The fight may have been slightly easy after fully upgrading the weapons, but the shear intensity of it running towards you and roaring with those rows of teeth was honestly a bit frightening.
This is one of my all time favorite franchises and basically every game in the series is good! Except All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault. Those can still screw off forever.
That’s why I hate FFA. It is so different than the other Ratchet and Clank games. The tower defense wasn’t even that good anyway. It’s short as hell, and the only thing that’s decent is the final boss
@@brawlbuster820 Well actually I do like size matters as well. But secret clank has so many problems. The gameplay controls and story are really bad in my opinion. Other then that size matters is pretty fun.
Fun fact in England going commando and up your arsenal had to get their names changed cos they were too tongue in cheek, should have kept them as they were

Nefarious's fight from A Crack in Time, Gleeman Vox's fight, and Vorselon's post-game fight easily should've been on this list instead of Qwark, Ace Hardlight, and Klunk's fights imo
Nefarious in R&C 3 is the only time in any game where I actually had to ration my ammunition so I could shoot at all. He would tank so much that by the third stage I almost had no weapons left.
the snagglebeast in 2016 was better cause they added extra enemies? sorry but if you have to put in extra enemies during a boss fight it's always a no for me
ratchet and clank is truly one of my all time favourite game series ever and just stands the test of time! I replayed all the games recently leading up to the release of the rift apart. except for the psp. I might replay them eventually but I'm in no hurry too.
One thing I'm sure we're all agreed on, the worst boss fight in the series is the Thugs-4-less leader in Ratchet & Clank 2. The one with the giant robot where you have to use the turrets, he's a mega damage sponge, AND has a predictable attack pattern. Not hard, just boring.
Going commando as much as I love and adore the game, snivelak, I can say with full honesty here, if it wasn't in the game, I wouldn't have cared. I don't like the planet and the boss fight just takes sooooo looooooong. It's honestly ridiculous how long it takes just to whittle his health down a little bit.
I didn't find ace as memorable as shellshock. I think it was the fact I did an actual mission to get to him rather then go to an arena and do some challenges

Do people really dislike the original that much? The original ratchet & clank will always be my favorite. To be honest it’s the new one that I dislike...
Okay hear out cause I know this is a hot take But I am tried of when a game comes out it's not good because it's not my childhood R&C ps4 is for people in the gen Y /gen Z zone like me stop hating on games because there not the way they used to be things change over time and it's not our fault that they not live to your standards
in some aspects I really do find it unfair how ratchet and clank has received so many new games over the years, as much as I still love this franchise to death but sly Cooper and jak and dexter have just received next to nothing. I pray they eventually get reboots on the ps5 one day but it's very wishful thinking at this point I think.
I love sly Cooper so I would love to play it on PS4 or PS5. It would be amazing. Honestly though, I never really cared for Jak and daxter. I like the games but there not my favourite.
