The amount of money spent doesn't bother me. The bad taste does. If you want to spend a billion dollars, you can buy a rather large forest, make it a private reserve and build a 10 mill castle in it. Then you can have something wonderful and expensive, while making sure that area is protected from deforestation and the animals have a place.

If they are not going to use all of that money, why should they keep it locked up. They could use it to help invest in renewable energy development, space exploration, and much more; instead of spending it on diamond cars and stuff. Not saying that all rich people are selfish people, but many of them definately are. And im not saying that all poor people are good skilled people either, but many of them are. And people who have lived with little use what money they have for better things, and in many cases, give more than people with a lot.

if i had a billion dollars, i'd do what mr. burns said: trade it all for a little bit more. in all seriousness though, one billion dollars is a fuckton of money. by putting that in the bank, you could get incredible interests by doing absolutely nothing. just think about it: even if a bank only gives you 0,2% interest, that would still amount to a staggering 20 MILLION a year, or 1,6 million a month, or about 55.000 dollars a DAY. now unless the bank loses all your money somehow, you would be financially stable for pretty much the rest of your life. hell, even if we lower the interest rate to just 0,1% or 0,01% you'd still be getting a ridiculous 10m and 1 million dollars of interest per year, respectively.

If I had that kind of money I would only buy stuff that I can use. If I bought that diamond incrusted Mercedes I wouldn't be able to drive it since the diamonds would get dirty and/or chipped. I'm a train enthusiast so I would probably just build a nice house alongside a rail line outside of the city I live in now and build a train viewing platform in the back and then make a big section of the house into a large model train layout.
Aaron Gordon First of all, dragon lores aren't even close to the most expensive in game item, so I don't know what that signifies, second, a million dragon lores would cost around 4 billion, so you wouldn't be able to afford them with a billion dollars, 3 there isn't a million dragon lores in existance, therefore no way to buy that many, and finally, are a fucking idiot?
