For the very first time, yesterday I bought Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L'homme EDT 200ml because of all the positive reviews I watched on RU-vid. Sprayed it once on my hand at 11am and I could still smell it at 1am the next morning! Is that normal? 😂
My list of unique fragrances in my opinion that I own are: 1. Guerlain L'homme Ideal Cologne (Love the almond note) 2. Bvlgari Aqva Amara (Love that Bitter Water and Orange vibe mixed with the patchouli) 3. Lalique Encre Noire Sport (Love the Dark Vetiver note) 4. Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey Pour Homme (Love that Yuzu and Tangerine notes combined) 5. Carolina Herrera Chic for Men (Love the Watermelon note) I completely agree with you in regards to YSL La Nuit de L'homme. When I first bought this one I was blown away with that spicy Cardamom note. Amazing fragrance in my humble opinion. Great vid as always!
I am completely agreed with you for La nuit de L'homme and Dior Homme intense. I have 2 6.7 la nuit de l'homme 2013 and 2016. 1 big bottle Gio Profumo, 2 CK Crave, 5.1 oz Azzaro Wanted, 5.2 oz Allure eau extreme, Layton exclusif, C. aventus 17V01, Dua supernova, vintage emperor Extrait, V. Eros EDP women, dior Sauvage EDP, Pie Givenchy, mont blanc individuel, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Jaguar for men, Aqva Amara. All genuine no fake. I am not buying any more Fragrance for next 5 to 7 years. Enjoy guys....
Steventhe1 I would, but my taste is inconsistent (if I buy something I initially like, it doesn’t take long before wondering why I bought it in the first place)
Awesome video!!! Three of my favorite unique compliment monsters are...YSL Tuxedo, Paco Robanne 1 Million Lucky and Maison Margiela By The Fireplace...Keep up the good work brother...
My list: 1. DHI 2. Icon 3. Eau sauvage parfum (2017 version) 4. Boss bottled unlimited 5. Joop! homme 6. Pure havane 7. By the fireplace 8. Black orient 9. DHP 10. Noir extreme
I hate the fact that LNDL just doesn’t perform that well, from my skin that is. I hate the fact that I wore JPG le male for years and got no complimentsz And I hate that I cant currently afford Reflection Men. Woe is me
All of these guys that have "never smelt anything like Dior Homme" lol.... because it's a female fragrance. There are countless Iris-cacao, musky fragrances with that Iris lipstick accord. Dior was simply the first to market it to men. Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial, L`Heure Defendue, Equistrius by Parfums d'Empire, Coromandel, D600, Silver Iris, so many traditional female fragrances that smell almost like DH clones. Homme EDP brings back memories of my grandma; she used to always wear heavy Iris perfumes when we went out for dinners.
Picked up a cheap ($25) Salvatore Ferragamo Signature earlier this month to wear when it got cooler... Been rocking it and crushing it on the compliments....
This is a great .. great ..list lots of various houses!! My picks are Replica " By the Fireplace" .. "Heritage" Guerlain... M7 Absolute.. Prada Black.... Ferragamo F Black.... Midnight in Paris..VC&A...Bulgari "Black" ... "Fahrenheit" ..Dior... "Escada Pour Homme " ..Escada...
I just picked up a YSL La Nuit de Lhomme bottle newest formulation, all I can say is wow! Mega compliment getter I wear it to college and damm its cat nip for women. It really works well with my skin and projects well.
Personally, I like how the edt smells like the most, it lasts a few hours I put a spray in front of my neck and behind my neck so it leaves a scent trail. It lasts like 4-5 of A cloud on me then it turns into a personal scent Like when you hug someone they will smell it makes them want to keep smelling you lol. I get lots of compliments but I’m in college so I’m exposed to a lot of people but it’s a alluring ,warm, mysterious scent it last very long on clothes for example my hoodies I can smell it for a few days, when a let a girl use my hoodie then can still smell it idk I love it’s my signature scent since it’s unique. You can go to Sephora in JCPENNEY and get a free sample try it out you’ll love it.
The fragrance is unique in the sense that it is original and never really copied or emulated but just happens to be a people pleaser. So he does actually make sense.
In a side note, got to hand it to Givenchy. I'm really digging what they are doing and they should be more in the forefront than they are. Kind of an underrated house. If you are looking for a more intense, suit worth spicebomb, check Gentlemen Only Absolute out. It's definitely a man scent. It might go closer to them realm of how Tim Ford Oud Wood would get you compliments, not that the scents are the same but it's more in that bold, gentlemen category
Jake Medina don’t worry about it too much, reviewers tend to exaggerate the amount of compliments they receive (nearly all your compliments would be from friends or family) unsolicited compliments are rare
I have the newest formulation, it has gotten me several compliments! bought it last month I go to college though so I’m more exposed to people, I know it is a night fragrance but I wear it everyday as my signature.
I need a little help with something off-topic. Hope you don’t mind putting some of your thoughts and advices. My perfumes do not last long anymore like the usual. Can heat affect a perfume’s longevity? They still smell the exactly same but they just do not last long (about 1-2hrs longevity). I live in the Philippines, where weather and climate is hot. I am a one year old in this fragrance hobby so I stored my perfumes NEAR my closet. Sunlight does not reach my perfumes but I suspect heat has somehow affected my perfumes. I own summer fragrances like D&G eau intense and some fall fragrances like D&G the One EDP. I dont know if it sill possible to do something about my this but I hope you guys could suggest something.
Robert Araja it could be that the heat is affecting the way that your smelling them as well and that your nose is becoming used to scent quicker in the heat .. I'm not sure of the exact breakdown of each scent but I have DG the one Edp and it's def more of a fall winter scent to me .. it just seems too rich to me to perform well in the heat.. in the summer time when it's hot and humid I think most of us struggle with picking a scent that performs well .
I know you hate DUA but Casino Elixir has leapt right up to my top Dallas. Compliments, heads turning, and literally hollering at me across the street. Its bonkers!
One could say that Aventus is much more Niche-complex with notes and layers and quality, but babes on the street will only say DAMN HE SMELLS AWESOME!!
Parfums de marly house is incredible layton, carlisle, herod, percival, kalan, Galloway, and pegasus all super compliment getters and last all day and night lol other then that ultra male always pulls compliments I literally have 3 bottles of it now just cant let that one go
@@jameswalker3800 layton would be my number 1 but Carlisle and herrod are pretty much tied for second and if your gonna go a cheaper route ultra male or the allure sport xtreme is also one you cant go wrong with
Lost me with the La Nuit... it’s always going to pull compliments! But I can’t see it as “unique”... the dna isn’t rare anymore. It has 4 flankers now lol
bryan acevedo haven’t smelled reflection man, but allure Homme sport starts off with a a bitter (citrus floor cleaner) scent mixed with the scent of an orange when you start peeling it. It eventually dries down to a sweet, subtle sweetness... I prefer Allure Homme Sport more because it’s more of a natural citrus since AHSEE has a weird chemical scent to it
Please make the perfume visible in video while talking about it so that we can see what you're talking about in any second in video. Just siggesting. Thanks for review 👍
larios86 not necessarily, but they do tend to have lower performance (L’Homme ultime) on the other hand is worse than average, probably around 2-3 hours
I have Bvlgari aqva Paco Rabanne Invictus F by ferragamo black Armaf club de nuit intense man Davidoff coolwater Attars like Dahn al oud Abiyad Musk abiyad Rose oud
No, it does not. To me at least. Maybe in a way in which Something deliberately non-masculine, some people would say lipsticky, on a very masculine man can still be masculine, and doesnt take away from that, but rather reinforces His masculinity by showing He doesnt rely on a scent or smth. Like that, to appear masculine. It's an amazing Fragrance anyway, and you absolutely should try it. The Topnote is probably Top3 Designer i have ever smelt. If you want Something more masculine, try Valentino Uomo Intens, its kind of similar, but more leathery and less powdery, it's my go to for very cold winter and wearing a leather jacket in the cold months. Take Care!
Nice list dude. And def right a lot of frags that seem hyped or super popular in fragcom are not in the real world lol. Even Aventus lol. I def wanna try a bunch on here especially BR540 and Reflection Man. Thanks Dallas.
La Nuit smells like an ole lady's perfume. Just dont get how a man can want to smell like that. Ch Men..original formulation in particular....now thats a real compliment getter...and it is very unique.
@@cheezuschrist1102 I feel like ebay sellers are cheaper, but I'll check out fragrancesplit I just want to try out some basic designer frag but I live a long ways from a Macy's or sephora to try out some.
Ayyyy! Tobacco Oud featured in a list for once, happy to see it here, love this scent. Gorgeous, in-your-face, "f**k you" kinda scent. If you love it, you really love it. If you hate it, you hate it. Mr Chaos, have you tried Tobacco Oud Intense?
Completely agreed! The formulation of La Nuit de l'homme that's currently out there, is trash! Lasted under 2 hours on my skin and clothes... took it back to Macy's and bought some Armani Code absolu... lasts 10 hours no prob
