In Arachnophobia, Spielberg is hiding crouched down in the exterminator truck. Thomas F. Wilson said that if you pause the scene where Marty McFly punches Biff Tannen in the diner, it's still Eric Stoltz. He said he doesn't remember having to reshoot the scene. Biff's hair is different as well as his eye-line as he's look at Stoltz who is taller than Michael J. Fox.
Spielberg is also in American Werewolf in London. Go to the massive traffic accident sequence in Picadilly Circus and look for the guy wearing a red sweater driving one of the cars. (I think the car he's driving is yellow.)
I've watched Zack Snyder's Justice League eight times, and I never noticed Zack's cameo. I will definitely say that I was shocked when I realized Carrie Fisher, George Lucas, and Glenn Close were all in Hook (which I think of as one of Spielberg's best films, while I consider The Lost World: Jurassic Park my least-favorite of his and of the franchise, though I still enjoy it).
Ryan Reynolds in "A Million Ways To Die In The West." He's not exactly hidden, but it's sort of a blink and miss it moment. Ewan McGregor is quick too, but he actually has a line, so...he's pretty easy to spot.
I guess I have a different understanding of a cameo. Generally, I'd think they'd be a small, but recognizable appearance like Stan Lee's cameos in Marvel movies. If not, why would anyone think to look, or acknowledge them. These sound more like an inside joke you'd have to be in on.
Obviously people did look, hence this video. Some cameos are obvious like the stan lee cameos, otherwise require people to look deep at movies which some people enjoy.doing so they can see all the cameos and easter eggs
That guy in Hook just looked so weird to me. The flawless skin and cheekbones just seemed out of place. Come to find out 30 years later it was Glenn Close but not from this video, someone else's. I knew my instincts were right all along.
Half of this list sucks hard. Why include people that would be recognized by hardly anybody, even if they had prominent roles??? Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Daft Punk, and even Zack Snyder aren't A-list actors and very few people know what they look like. Also, Steven Spielberg was clearly a mistake, and you can't even see Emma Thompson, so those two aren't even cameos. You could have EASILY found 10 good examples, but you completely phoned it in anyway.
